Hello there ! Sushan'ts video is certainly helpful. But an easy way is to install " Microsoft Indic language Input Tool". Installation is very easy. And Microsoft has done a Fantastic job. You just have to type the phonetic word of marathi in English language and the system automatically guesses the word you are looking for. Now typing in marathi is breeze easy. Watch the video demo and then install the tool (3.26Mb )

Ek common drawback sarvach keyboard madhye haa aahe ki tyavar RHA he jodaakshar type karata yet nahee. Jewha me murhekar type karato tewha RHE he jodaakshar Survey madheel RVE sarakhe yete aani te chuk aahe. RHE must come as in RHOdesia or RHYthm. That half Ra is absent. The Ra as in SaRva, DhaRma is available. Hence i can type aachaRya atre but cannot KaRHEche Paani. Nevertheless your endeavors must be appreciated. Thanx You young gen-boys are hopes for the old ones like me.

गूगल इनपुट टूल वापरून सुद्धा अगदी सहज रित्या ( की-बोर्ड जसा आहे तसा वापरून ) आपण मराठी लिहू शकता. या साठी इन्स्क्रिपट की-बोर्ड माहित नसला तरी चालेल. त्या साठी भाषा निवडल्या नंतर 'MA' च्या बाजूलाच क्लिक करून की-बोर्ड निवडता येतो. जर तुम्हाला इन्स्क्रिपट की-बोर्ड माहित असेल तर तो ही तुम्ही वापरू शकता.गूगल इनपुट टूल डाऊनलोड करून प्रस्थापित करण्यासाठी मात्र इंटरनेटची गरज लागते. थोडी संगणकीय तांत्रिक माहिती असल्यास इंटरनेटशिवाय ही तुम्ही गूगल इनपुट टूल डाऊनलोड करून प्रस्थापित करू शकता.मात्र त्या नंतर इंटरनेटशिवाय ही सेवा वापरता येते.या मध्ये predictive text प्रणाली (जी गुगल सर्च मध्ये आढळते) वापरली असल्यामुळे टंकन केलेल्या शब्दाचे व्याकरण आपोआप जुळवून अथवा संभाव्य योग्य पर्याय टंकित शब्दा जवळच सुचवला जातो. आणि याचा वापर करून तुम्ही कुठल्याही अॅप्लिकेशन मध्ये लिहू शकता.

On my mobile I have installed google indic app and it is working fine. for example, If I type Majhe Nav Anil Aahe using Enlgish Keyboard, the letters appear in Marathi. So easy and user-friendly. However, I could not utilise this facility on my PC. Can anybody guide me ?

+Chandrakant Dhutadmal we are using English keyboard. If you follow your steps here marathi keyboard is installed, its very difficult to know which corresponding English letter is for Marathi letter. So is it possible to type in English for Marathi language in windows 7?. FYI It can be done in XP.
