Band by the Numbers, Why You Should Join Band!

Updated to fix some sound issues, this video features Aurora Hampton on the benefits of joining band for Harrison High Bands in Kennesaw, GA. Aurora has been in band in California and now in Georgia and coast to coast, the benefits remain the same: sense of purpose, friendships, goal-setting and achievement, better SAT scores and a higher GPA, plus it's just plain fun! Band has helped Aurora's transition into 2 out-of-district high schools both known for their bands, where she knew no one each time. Special guest and a top student Bassoonist in the country, former head drum major for Vista Murrieta High (CA) Emily O'Donnell speaks on the benefits of band beyond high school as she is finishing her freshman year at University of Michigan, thanks Emily!
