If you are in Canada. You order your toast as (White toast or Brown Toast). For soft drink, you can call any pops (coke, Pepsi)
In American, you order toast as (white toast or wheat toast). For soft drink, you said any soda (coke, Pepsi).
Sure! But check her out, she is from America and can’t be too harsh on her because every country have different cultures and We The People are multicultural friendly people worldwide already! When I ordered eggs in restaurant for my breakfast I would order my eggs according to my mood. If I'm in bad mood I would tell the waiter/ waitress to get me "cloudy side up" and if I feel excited and joyful I would say "over-reacted". If that day I feel like taking advantage of someone I would say "scambled eggs" Finally if my heart feel tender and loving then I would say "soft spoiled eggs". These terms are very practical because the waiters would know your state of mind immediately by the eggs you order.

Bacon in Canada is different than hk. We make more crispy bacon in Canada than hk. Hk people make bacon like a uncook bacon

通常北美唔叫waiter 同waitress, 用 server比較好啲。
@@a.k.p600 據我所知本土人都用server, 當然亦會有人用waiter，但唔普遍，至少我在北美幾乎未聽過有人會喊人 waiter。你可以google 下waiter, 叫 waiter是比較无禮貌。

以前都是叫 waiter/waitress 寫文章用 server or wait-staff.

我在英國住左三十幾年去餐室食早餐都未聽到西人用 over hard 或者 over easy eggs
北美常有用over easy, 不過未聽過over hard，唔覺好食。最好都係燶邊煎蛋（香港人都叫燶邊荷包蛋--雖然其實唔係荷包蛋）。
