I don't think there's ever been another season of Survivor where you could so clearly say that a player won it in the final tribal. That was an incredible performance by Kristie!

@@randomyoutuber0524 I think she only had Sue at best coming to final 3. Winning immunity and voting out El was absolutely needed. She would have slaughter her if they went together to FTC (also with Lee).

Kristie barely won rewards, got nothing in auction , countless time on chopping block, yet she pull the last challenge and won it all, true warrior!! 💕
@@adamsbriee6330 Survivor Borneo lasted 4:11 (per Wikipedia). This one lasted nearly 6½ hours. That being said, Survivor Palau's challenge went nearly twice that long, almost 12 hours, and could have gone longer had Ian not voluntarily jumped off. That one was epic.
It's really hard being an introvert and having an anxiety and having to plan and plot most awkward things. It puts you sooo out of comfort zone. Kudos to Kristie . Also Lee, always been good. Gentlemen.
I’m in awe of Kristi. She’s made the last few episodes truly memorable. Brought tears to my eyes seeing her win that final immunity challenge. I also think she’s probably grown more through this experience than anyone else.
I rarely get emotional for TV shows but someone was cutting onions while I was watching. lol What a finale. Shame you don't have a live reunion show like we do here in the States.
Kirstie is a TRUE winner. She took on two of the closest and tough contestants in the final three, then chose the hardest one to beat to go to the final two and laid her passion out with no holds barred to the jury. Well done baby girl. 👍
I was so happy to see Kristie win. This season had great casting. I have watched every season of Survivor and my jaw also dropped as she answered the Jury's questions. I have never seen anyone answer the questions as well as she did. Her answers were brilliant and so well spoken. The kind of answers a true Survivor fan loves to hear. It is a game of outplay, outwit and outlast and that's what she did. Hats off to her. A very, very deserving winner.
@@mayaortiz6653 I would recommend the following US seasons, 1,18,28,33 and 37 but I'm sure everyone has their favorites. TH-cam content is limited. Maybe CBS all access. Enjoy

This is hands down the best episode of Survivor or any other reality show I've ever seen. Kudos to the contestants and to the production team for this epic storytelling.
Most emotional episode on survivor history.I cried so much!😭Kristy’s journey was very inspiring. Her determination is what amaze me she proved everyone that she can do it. Plus the last challenge wag amazing💯
The questions Lee got asked we’re really dumb! Kristy got good questions that could back her up. Not “are you in love with el” that’s not gonna help the jury vote for you to win
Totally agree it reminded me of an episode of friends where ross goes to an interview with two other people and they both get the usual interview questions and they ask him how to spell a word the interviewer just made up .
What a storyline! #kristiebennett was considered one of the weakest players out of 24. She don’t have any stable alliance and she was always considered as an option to be voted out (every tribal council). She was not physically strong compared to her male opponents nor mentally strategic compared to other female players. She was an outcast esp in the last 2-3weeks before the Finale. But she maintained her composure and made it to the top 3. It was very difficult but she made it to the last challenge. Until she claimed while freezing cold standing 6hrs in a cliff. “ this was her dream when she was still 8yrs old, for her to compete in survivor”. She never won any challenges not until the final challenge where it all matters. It was her “GRIT” to achieve her lifelong dream. It seemed so impossible. But she proved that anything can happen as long as you believe in yourself. It is my first time that a reality competition nor a contestant made me believe that “never ever underestimate yourself, believe as long as you are still living. “ No one expected her to WIN, but she WON fair and square with no dirty tricks, just her GRIT to achieve her 8year old dream. I CRIED WHEN SHE WON, THOUGH I WAS LATE FOR 4 YEARS ALREADY. 😂😭 #SurvivorAustralia
I think this is one of the very few final tribals where the jury came in going to vote for one person and ended up voting for the other person. The best jury management I have ever seen honestly
And it was almost a sweep. Everyone except El voted for Kristie to win while I think only Nick, JL, and maybe Flick and Matt would have even considered voting for her in the first place.
Who watched Australian Survivor Finale from the Philippines? 🙋🏻♂️ That was epic! One of the best season in the history of Survivor. Great job, Australia! Congrats Kristie!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well Kristie might have been the go-with-the-flow kind of girl but she completely crushed Lee in the final episode wether it be the challenge or the jury Go Girlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
What was interesting about Kristie was that she always seemed to repeat what someone else said, if you told it was a nice day, she'd say it was a nice day the same way you said it. Then suddenly you saw her get more and more confident, and I don't know if the jury was going to vote for her the way they did before Lee and her defended their positions in the game and answered the questions from the jury members but Kristie put on an absolute clinic on how to defend the way you played and also how to be confident and it felt like it came out of nowhere, it was absolutely amazing.
It was an epic season. But do you agree that (1)Jonathan did a great job hosting this show? and (2) Kristie is such a strategic player after all. Being naive was merely just her facade. She deserves to win for sure. I hope a new season will be uploaded soon. Thanks heaps guys.
Yes. Jonathan was perfect for this group. He got better with each episode and Kristie played the season great. She knew her role and she was locked in to win from the beginning.
Strategic/Manipulative during the final immunity challenge when she realises she cant beat Lee, she put on the fake tears and compared him to her dad (she knew being seen as a good father was super important to Lee). She manipulated Lee into throwing the game. If he stuck it out he takes El to to final and Kristy never wins. I've never seen such a sneaky, underhanded, manipulative speech as Kristys during that final challenge.

I have heard about this finale all over it’s mentioned as being one of the top immunity challenges in all of survivor across the world and I’m so glad I waited for now to watch it. I knew coming into watching this who won but being from the States I’m glad to watch Australian Survivor. Thanks for uploading this season. And hope to see more in the future.
This show has been amazing honestly, and it really opened my eyes to the true survivor title. If you want to survive in any thing, DO NOT EVER STAND OUT, and shine when it is the right time. SUPER happy with the results. I am super happy how lee played the game as well. I can truly say that i have learned so much thro this show and from both Kristy and Lee. I will never forget this
No matter how good a game you play, you need to genuinely be articulate in your 'Final Pitch'. Kristie did an excellent job with that and won over the whole jury. Not even in my wildest dream have i imagined Kristie winning the game. Wow! You wanted it more n you got it girl. Lee, i wish you could pitched harder.
@@CRAZYBANG-lm4hc yeah lee purposely fall down for kristy...after believing her she will not win. But if lee bring el to final i think it will be not easy for him too lol.
here's some the reason why she deserved to win 1. Kristie was never blindsided, she always knew who was going home. 2. All the tribal councils she never mis-voted anyone. Even though not that impactful, whosoever name she wrote , they went home. 3. Being at the bottom all the time, all her alliance members (although just 3) were voted out but she made it till final 2. 4. Never gave fake promises like majority people did, so she didn't had to face the MORALITY questions that Lee certainly had to answer. 5. Jury management. She was in good term with the jury. ¹All her Vavau friends who were voted by the major alliance had a grudge on Lee. ²Brooke and Sam wanted Lee out but she was blindsided. ³Matt wanted Flick or Kristie to win. ⁴Flick was against Lee and El as they went against her and why would Nick and Jenna vote for a person who shamed them publicly. 6. Immunity at the right time. She challenged every jury member she would win the last immunity challenge and she proved them. 7. Last but not the least *HER AMAZING FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL SPEECH* . She knew what she was talking. So these are some reason I think why she deserved to win.
Everything you said is spot on! Except for number 4. She gave fake promises almost every week but, in my opinion its what made her even more deserving of the win! She was able to make everyone feel like they had her vote, meaning people felt like they needed her for their game, giving her the ultimate power to decide what happens each tribal!!!
Yeah you can tell Lee is not eloquent and coherent with the answers and definitely caught off-guard by some questions. Love it when the underdogs win :)
In hindsight Australian survivor's editing was rather interesting. This entire season Kristie was depicted as a pawn, a quirky girl that did nothing, a goat with no power and no chance of winning. Talk about the opposite of a "winner edit"
@FPL The Kille Pie I don't think at any point before Kristie winning the final challenge would anyone have thought Kristie as the 'favourite' to win. Sure many might have cheered her and wanted her to win but that's probably them cheering a person they like or cheering the 'underdog'. That FTC speech was just E.P.I.C.
That talk between Kristy and Lee during the last challenge and then the 2 of them collapsing on top of one another unable to move. And Kristy crying for someone to move her off Lee cause she was hurting him.... I did not think this show was gonna make me cry that damn hard 😭❤️
She used Lees compassionate nature against him, he was going to win that challenge and take El to the final. So Kristy put on the fake tears and compared him to her dad to make him quit. I've never seen someone so fake and manipulative.
She did won may be because he gave it up feeling bad for her, but she saved lee and el several times just knowing those two will be difficult for her to beat-at the end, she is a bit awkward but this made me cry and made my day. She risk all it to do the right thing several times, even though she did some stupid moves in the beginning, but she is a genuine one, all three are good. Alliances don’t always last if they are not genuine.
Wow! the fact that no one voted for Lee but El. All the other votes were for Kristie!! That is just EPIC! Soul survivor shouldn’t be only about physical strength but also about strong strategies that shouldn’t always be very loud to be heard or felt, but the results show it! Never ever judge the book by its cover! Well done Kristie you deserved winning 👏🏻!
When she said, all the tribal council she knew who's going home, I shook because it's true, she is the floating vote they're all need.great JoB.. most deserving sole survivor in any country I've watched
THAT was one of the BEST final episodes I have ever seen. And I am an American Survivor Super Fan. Sitting here halfway across the world with tears in my eyes. PLEASE post more Australian Survivor. It is the pure game and I enjoyed every step of this adventure. Signed, A Guy With a Wall of Buffs in His Office ❤️
aahh, I'm in tears and I thought kristie deserves the title, she have a really nice, sincere, innocent character and played a smooth and smart strategy without hurting/ betray the alliance.. it's clear that the she wons the jury's hearts and universe choosed her to be the last survivor! :)
Sad to see lee lose😭 But im happy that kristie won😍 If kristie pick el at final she will not win If el won the final imunity and pick lee she will not win as well. Very interesting/sad ending of these 3 good people. The reason why lee didn't win because the jury set high standard for him And to kristie who is very articulate at the end gives her instant power to shift all the votes. Well done guys!
I started rooting for Kristie earlier in the game. I liked her quirky personality and that she wasn’t easy to control. I’ve watched a lot of survivor, but seeing her suppress her intellect until the very end shocked everyone. She didn’t backstab anyone and a true survivor has the courage to go up against their biggest competitor, which she did. She adored Lee just like everyone else did. He was the most likeable person. But that’s also why he didn’t deserve the prize. He didn’t struggle to defend his position at all. Her name did come up a lot. No wonder she had anxiety. It made me so happy to see an 8 year old little girl’s dream come true.
Man Lee really set himself up for a hard moment there. Between losing the game over his idea of being a moral hero to his kids, to actually having his kids there to see him lose first hand. Rough knock but hey I guess he can get over it, Kristie deserved the win
I love the players who make the subtle moves in Survivor. Kristie's game had so much deftness and subtlety that I didn't even fully appreciate it until right at the very end, even as a viewer who had a broader perspective than any of the players did. She fooled them, and she fooled me. What a player.
Wow can you believe this F3? Red was losing every immunity challenge and Kristie has been losing basically most of it until the merge and they all ended up in the final 3! I wouldn’t have believe it from the first few episodes that these 3 will make it this far haha
I just wanna thank you for such and unbelievable upload of such an amazing season. The one video upload each week that I craved and looked forward to watching without fail. I’d say keep each subsequent season of Australian Survivor coming, though ultimately any international Survivor not already loaded will be icing on the cake. I mean hey it like I am going to get any votes, I just want to make it to the end.
I wish Matt would’ve called out Lee for pretending to be in an alliance with him. He used him for a number but never actually cared about him. It would’ve shown that Lee wasn’t as honest and trustworthy as he says he was.
@Wiron Yago lee sucks he only got to second cause Flick someone who was actually playing the game flipped on her alliance and saved him. If she didn't do that the guy is voted out at final 7 or 6 the guy strategically was awful and had to be bailed out by stronger strategic players like Flick.
@Wiron Yago how do you not see it that way? Lee was content sticking with the majority alliance even though Brooke and Flick were running it and were easily the strongest players in the game. I was not a huge fan of Kristie because in my eyes she started playing way too late but she put on the performance of a lifetime at FTC and that's better then Lee who completely bungled FTC and didn't play the game at all he kept talking about honor and loyalty in a game where those attributes will lose you the game against someone who is out there trying to outwit, outplay, and outlast. Name any strategic move Lee made at any point I don't think he had any he followed the majority alliance until the flip at 7 then he followed Flick until her threat level was too big to overlook and he was content in going to the end with El who played a much better social game then him and most likely wins. That is not a good game and challenge wins don't matter enough to overlook those glaring holes in his game.
@Wiron Yago Mike Holloway from season 30 of US survivor was a challenge beast and won 5 immunities but he's considered a lower tier winner in comparison to Tony or Kim or Boston Rob who are more strategic winners. At the end of the day a majority of people value strong strategic play over challenge wins as seen with this jury and almost every jury in US survivor. Look at the winners of the 2017 Australian season and of Australian All Stars they won by playing strong strategic games and are considered some of the best with the winner of All Stars being right below Tony for me as the greatest to ever play the game.
This season is amazing... It includes like almost everything.. Strategy.. Strength.. Weakness.. Doubt.. Emotional.. Inspirational speech.. Love.. Cry..Joy.. Fun.. Happiness..indeed an amazing season.. Love it.. And plz do continue with the next season... I'll be waiting..
@@FransceneJK98 Lee didn't give up. They stood there for almost 6.5 hours which is edited into a 20ish minutes clip. Lee said in an interview that he had immense pain and just tried to readjust a bit which caused him to slip. In fact he also said that this happened 30 minutes after Kristie asked him to let her win so I believe him as there are much easier and less painful ways to give up
Matt's question to Kristie is literally the best question every asked in Survivor history. She's young, and likely hasn't had a lot of true living. She grew up on this show, and it's obvious. (Haven't made it to the end yet, don't know who wins)
I couldn't believe that my winner pick from the start actually won. I felt so stupid but they reminded me of someone I knew. Butt now I'm glad I stuck with her! Kristie Bennett for the win!
I feel bad for El getting that purple edit when she did a big thing early merge and early Pre-Merge by getting close to Brooke and Flick but because of her being all so loyal with Lee, she immediately became boring and she only ended up with 29 confessionals
I think Kristie’s game is most similar to Danni Boatwright , they both found cracks between alliances and both overcame the power couple ( Stephanie and Rafe) and ( El and Lee) . Kristi was more in the background but she was up to 9 to 3 so it is more reasonable the edit focused on other characters too.
Mmmhh... my foot in my mouth tastes good. :) Even-though Kristie‘s gameplay was chaotic and for viewers infuriating, she owned that final tribal and owned those questions! Great final and deserving winner!
Kristie totally deserved this win. Jury management at its finest. Winning challenges and having the best and biggest alliance doesn't guarantee anything. Kristie worked hard. Underdog. I was rooting for her. Her final jury speech had me in tears.
This gets me every time! Best Immunity Challenge, best tribal council. They all counted her out and she proved them wrong. I will forever be inspired by this.
This was SO much better than American Survivor has been for the last ten years. American Survivor seems so hurried in pace and it's all about conflicts between cartoon-like characters some of whom seem almost sociopathic. Throw in the usual American racial and racist tensions and serve, with Jeff just going through the motions.
have you forgotten how boring the pre-merge was? the finale's definitely great but there was so much at the start where you didnt know the characters yet and it was just boring because there were so many of them
@@kadenfoley3514 Fair point, to be sure. But that leisurely pre-merge was a great contrast to the tensions that followed. Slow in the tightening, swift in the strangling! And what an ending - three suffering on their scaffolds, almost death, then resurrection. The whole thing had a good pacing I thought.
Last thing I'll say is how MUCH I loved an ending not filmed American style in some glitzy L.A. studio with all the female contestants unrecognizable under their makeup. I used to feel that was so fake.
Cerberus yes! This! So much this! I have enjoyed New Zealand best so far, but this season of Australia has been possibly one of the best ever...for certain the final tribal/finale. I love that it seems more about surviving and challenges and strategy than drama and editing to create more focus on the drama.
I hear ya on the makeup, that stuff is like magic and does make all the broads unrecognizable. I do miss seeing the other contestants who were voted out early though.

I love how they brought the family in for final tribal !

Kristie had no chance going into the jury phase, she was absolutely brilliant with her answers. She literally took it out of Lee's hands. I rewatched it because I had to make sure that actually happened. Hat's off to you Kristie, you deserved it.
This is actually false - the jury has confirmed they were very open to be swayed and Kristie had at least 2 votes going into tribal council :)
@@randomyoutuber0524 I think she only had Sue at best coming to final 3. Winning immunity and voting out El was absolutely needed. She would have slaughter her if they went together to FTC (also with Lee).
The Jury hated Lee because he kept wining challenges I already knew they will not vote for him
The jury already made up their minds there is nothing Lee will say to change it there hated him
She was just lucky she doesn't deserve the title
Whether you like Kristie's gameplay or not you have to respect her. She hands down has the best FTC performance in the history of Survivor. Well done. Amazing season, hopefully you can upload the next season. Thanks for this channel.

You know they took it from American Survivor who used it many times as their final immunity challenge..soooo
WinByTKo cbs needs to release an unedited version of that
Try watching the first few US Survivor show, I like the one in Asian country where they competed inside a cave.
N/A Thailand is one of the worst seasons to watch but final immunity concept is great ( though it was obvious who would win )
I cried like a baby this whole episode lol

Kirstie is a TRUE winner. She took on two of the closest and tough contestants in the final three, then chose the hardest one to beat to go to the final two and laid her passion out with no holds barred to the jury. Well done baby girl. 👍
Kristie is a living proof that you can beat the odds and nothing is impossible!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Yeah but you can always spin it in a way that could benefit you
I think the point was to find out how genuine he was being or if he was stringing El along, using his manly wiles.
It's about how you Walked through the game from the start I think..
hes not very articulate his fault
this might be the best episode in survivor history. the final challenge, the final tribal, kristie and lee are both champions
No one expected her to WIN, but she WON fair and square with no dirty tricks, just her GRIT to achieve her 8year old dream.
I CRIED WHEN SHE WON, THOUGH I WAS LATE FOR 4 YEARS ALREADY. 😂😭
#SurvivorAustralia
I think this is one of the very few final tribals where the jury came in going to vote for one person and ended up voting for the other person. The best jury management I have ever seen honestly
And it was almost a sweep. Everyone except El voted for Kristie to win while I think only Nick, JL, and maybe Flick and Matt would have even considered voting for her in the first place.
Who watched Australian Survivor Finale from the Philippines? 🙋🏻♂️ That was epic! One of the best season in the history of Survivor. Great job, Australia! Congrats Kristie!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@@ifiwereazombie8261 true but Im also from the PH and im rooting Lee to win but he didn't so yeah congrats to Kristie I guess.
Ты ещё не видел Русскую передачу. Вот там действительно интересно.
Well Kristie might have been the go-with-the-flow kind of girl but she completely crushed Lee in the final episode wether it be the challenge or the jury
Go Girlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
@@MrAitraining yeah... what a way to end indeed.
I started crying at the end not because Kristie won but because I realized this season was over.😭😭😭😂😂😂

This is probably the best finale of survivor ever! So unexpected wow!

I knew coming into watching this who won but being from the States I’m glad to watch Australian Survivor. Thanks for uploading this season. And hope to see more in the future.
Jonathan's face when the last two standing fell off: "yeah, probably won't do this challenge again".
Atleast not on the rocks...maybe on the sand..I wonder how they lifted Lee if those rocks...it looked really painful
which is funny cus they did do the same challenge, in the same location I believe
Right that final speach that kristie give us was one of the best of all the franquise
Its easy for lee if he dosent give the immunity😂😂
@@CRAZYBANG-lm4hc yeah lee purposely fall down for kristy...after believing her she will not win.
But if lee bring el to final i think it will be not easy for him too lol.
here's some the reason why she deserved to win
Wow Kristie's final tribal council is amazing! Especially when you compare it to Lee's performance.
Apparently Lee admitted he's not good at tribal council.
@Tim Graham thats why she’s so iconic
Truely Epic!!!
She begged someone to give up their dream for her, it was manipulative
That's the moment when reality TV became Cinema.
Wow! the fact that no one voted for Lee but El.
When she said, all the tribal council she knew who's going home, I shook because it's true, she is the floating vote they're all need.great JoB.. most deserving sole survivor in any country I've watched

aahh, I'm in tears and I thought kristie deserves the title, she have a really nice, sincere, innocent character and played a smooth and smart strategy without hurting/ betray the alliance.. it's clear that the she wons the jury's hearts and universe choosed her to be the last survivor! :)
Sue : "Well, you outsmarted me, well done." I kinda laughed more than I should have
Lee's one and only weakness in physical challenges: make him cry.
I had seen who won before I watched this episode, but I wasn't fully convinced until I got to see this finale. Kristy was brilliant!
Sad to see lee lose😭
But im happy that kristie won😍
If kristie pick el at final she will not win
If el won the final imunity and pick lee she will not win as well.
Very interesting/sad ending of these 3 good people.
The reason why lee didn't win because the jury set high standard for him
And to kristie who is very articulate at the end gives her instant power to shift all the votes.
Well done guys!
maybe dont spoil it?
Depressed Panda rule #1 never read the comments before watching
Lee set a high standard for himself; all the jury did was hold him up to it
Impossible to verify... Pure speculation !
I'm not sure that kirstie loose facing el,she still have her underdog storie....
30:34 " I guarantee you Lee, I won't have the votes". Lol.
Don't forget that you're in survivor.
😂😂😂but I sure can change their minds.....wohooo Christie
DAMNNNNNN
she talked her way out.
OMG Kristie's speech at the end was sooo amazing...What a complete turn around...Never underestimate people in this game.
55 days absolutely made this season pure and transparent. Well doneee survivor players. 🎊🎉👏
I wish Matt would’ve called out Lee for pretending to be in an alliance with him. He used him for a number but never actually cared about him. It would’ve shown that Lee wasn’t as honest and trustworthy as he says he was.
Tense final immunity challenge and Nick and JL's jury questions were everything I wanted. I loved seeing them tear into Lee.
J Luise was prepared .!!!!
Love it or hate it, Kristie’s FTC is spectacular, real or not, it changed her outcome, it is impressive

@@FransceneJK98 I think she deserved it she wasn't such a physical person compared to Lee..but 6hrs...she deserved it
He slipped. She won it.
@@FransceneJK98 Lee didn't give up. They stood there for almost 6.5 hours which is edited into a 20ish minutes clip. Lee said in an interview that he had immense pain and just tried to readjust a bit which caused him to slip. In fact he also said that this happened 30 minutes after Kristie asked him to let her win so I believe him as there are much easier and less painful ways to give up
the moment she dropped that speech, the win is hers. hats off to kristy!
El has been playing with her heart this ENTIRE game...
Man...my respect for Kristie soared after this last challenge. Amazing!
one of the best ever Final Jury performance
Matt's question to Kristie is literally the best question every asked in Survivor history. She's young, and likely hasn't had a lot of true living. She grew up on this show, and it's obvious. (Haven't made it to the end yet, don't know who wins)
When Lee said to Krisy: "I'm proud of you"....I could not hold back tears.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️
I couldn't believe that my winner pick from the start actually won. I felt so stupid but they reminded me of someone I knew. Butt now I'm glad I stuck with her! Kristie Bennett for the win!
She was my pick as well!
I feel bad for El getting that purple edit when she did a big thing early merge and early Pre-Merge by getting close to Brooke and Flick but because of her being all so loyal with Lee, she immediately became boring and she only ended up with 29 confessionals
What a godlike game and effort produced by Kristie and she owned all of it. Seriously all of them were outplayed by her😂❤
Good at JL for going at it! Kristie did very well answering questions! Good pick, she really was the survivor of the entire season!!!
Even-though Kristie‘s gameplay was chaotic and for viewers infuriating, she owned that final tribal and owned those questions!
What an epic show. This has got to be one of the best episodes of reality TV of all time.
Lee: your honor I did not do it. I'm innocent.
Kristie: I did. I'd do it again. You couldn't stop me before, try me now.

I'll say that I was mostly rooting for Lee until last episode where I kinda became neutral but then this episode fully had me rooting for Kristie. I got so emotional when she was talking to Lee during the challenge and her answering the questions kinda just made me go "she deserves it" but honestly, Lee could've won and I would've been happy too.
