Don’t get overwhelmed by all the different Radiohead requests. They have so many masterpiece unique songs. I honestly think Radiohead is worth doing album reactions, for your sake. Some of their albums are flawless and the emotional ride makes the song experiences better. Radiohead are just stupid goated.
One constant about Radiohead videos or reaction is your presence @memetherapy :) What part of the world are you in? Have you seen RH live before? Cheers mate!
@@Injektilo44 I'm as big as a fan as they come. I'm lucky to live in Montreal where they always play, often multiple nights. I've seen every show since the HTTT tour, so that's a lot, including every The Smile shows. Reactions to Radiohead are always fun, reliving the discovery of a band that changed my life and many others. Where you from friend?
@@memetherapy Haha! Are you me!? I'm closer to Ottawa, but haven't missed them since the Amesiac tour in 2001. Montréal, Toronto, New York, and even once in Prague. I was also at the acoustic Musique Plus show that Thom and Jonny did in 2023, during the HTTT tour. We might have allready bumped into each other! I was also at the last Smile and Thom Yorke shows in Montreal (and Laval... lol). Add all of these shows and I'm getting close to 20. I hope we'll be able to see them again in the next years! I'm praying for an orchestral tour, kinda lika Sigur Ros are doing... Take care fellow RH fan!
@@Injektilo44 That's so cool! You have me beat by a few shows! Radiohead is truly life changing. It's hard to put into words how much I appreciate what they've done for us. As someone who's been in bands, it's absolutely astonishing what they've managed to accomplish... stick together and work through perfecting gems of music, yet still performing with emotional conviction every time. Since you're also an insane fanatic. Rank their albums (the LPs only). And can you name a favorite song? And side question... you enjoy Karkwa? I find them relatively unknown for how quality they are. Not too surprising since its french music, but still, they share some qualities with Radiohead.
@@memetherapy Ha! I feel the same about them! Ranking the LP is a tough question, because it switches depending on my mood. Kid A, Ok Computer and In Rainbow alternate in the top 3. Then, Amnesiac, HTTT, AMSP, The Bends and TKOL alternate between positions 4-8. Then Pablo Honey. I'm a huge fan of Karkwa! Must have seen them at least 10 times before their long hiatus. Also saw Karkwa's singer (Louis-Jean Cormier) solo shows multiple times. I bumped into him twice . Once at a Radiohead show and another time at a Sufjan Stevens show in Toronto. I call Karwka the French Radiohead :) Just to go full circle, earlier today, I stumbled on a video that I had not seen before: Louis-Jean performing Paranoid Android with Philip Brach beside a camp fire!
I do agree with your statement Millie, it is definitely a mood song and it could hit you in different ways because of that and I can see where it could be considered therapeutic. Another song that could be considered therapeutic is "leave a light on" ( talk away the dark ) by Papa Roach. This song hits me hard and has helped me and I know I'm not the only one it has helped and iykyk. Great job on the reaction video Millie, keep up the good work, stay safe and God bless.
I bought Radiohead's OK Computer the day it released, fantastic album right through. I think you might like the song and video for Lydia by Highly Suspect. When I see No Surprises, I think of Lydia, and vice versa. Like this video, there's also no camera trickery in the Lydia video (that will make more sense when you see it) One of my favorite videos ever, and one of my favorite songs since the 2010's Edit: And there's also a behind the scenes video for Lydia, which is always cool to see for MV
I enjoyed your commentary of No Surprises. To me this song is about suicide. The calming music paired with super dark lyrics (‘I’ll take a quiet life, a handshake of carbon monoxide’ or ‘this is my final fit, my final bellyache with no alarms and no surprises’) I use songs like this to get the emotions out from time to time.
Can't wait until you discover In Rainbows!!! Do yourself a huge favour, when you get In Rainbows, make sure you have uninterrupted time, lying or sitting down comfortably, excellent quality headphones/buds, full volume....you will be transported! It will be a new favourite, guaranteed

To me this song goes hand in hand with the song before it on the album the equally as brilliant Climbing Up The Walls, one of the most devastating one, two punches iv'e ever heard on any album before.
Millieeeee!! 😄👋🏽 Great song, great reaction. You know, that intro reminds me of “Wouldnt it be nice” by The Beach Boys. Have you reacted to them yet? The genius of Brian Wilson and the madness of Phil Spector (engineer) and all the legends of The Wrecking Crew! Oh, wow. They all killed on that album. You like vintage, right? You will love The Wrecking Crew and Brian Wilson. Anyway, this intro reminded me of “Wouldnt it be nice?” 😁 Take care, Millie! Be well and always healthy 👍🏽
"A handshake of carbon monoxide." When you get carbon monoxide poisoning, you pretty much suffocate...from what I hear it is a pretty pleasant way to pass away. Also the video he's holding his breath underwater...

The song is a masterpiece and the beauty and cuteness of the reactor too.
And about Radiohead's song I suggest you "The Trickster"
The entire albums of OK Computer and Kid A are masterpieces, as in on the same level of the great Pink Floyd albums.
Hi. This is one of the greatest songs, its pure suicide food. 😪 cheers from Australia 🦘
I’ve recently gotten into Radiohead through a friend & they are incredible! I’ve listen to OK Computer, The Bends & Kid A.

Radiohead so many great songs on each album. I think this song based on a suicide note or something along those lines.
Radiohead at their best are sublime and unlike few other bands in the best way.
