Excellent demonstration of this amp's capabilities, and fine musicianship, besides. Almost every other channel featuring the Badlander is playing some super djenty drop-tuned tedium. Nice to hear something more dynamic without 98% palm muting on a 16-string baritone through a Whammy DT.
You really want it to thump? Put a Klirrton Oh My Goat! distortion in front! Totally slays. The big selling point for me was the built in IR clone. I dont like all of the included IRs, so being to change them is amazing. Such an amazing feature. If you guys are on the fence about this amp I would check it out.
heck, when you finally explore the Mesa line and realize that "Boogie" is ONLY the Mark series and similar modifications! even I know it - a resident of Russia! In all other cases (if these are not Mark varieties) it is written and spoken as Mesa Engineering !!!
@@JonCPhillips Ding, ding, ding. Yup. I got lost in the haze of multitracking. There's only so many hours in my day, and those days are numbered. I'm on # 13,140 & I've got #390 to go before the cancer plants my ass in the dirt. I don't got time for people that take a long time to get to the point, & sound demos that include lots of other sounds before they get to the point. Entropy. Focus.
@@TheBsavage Enough time to post nonsensical comments on youtube though, but not enough to get past the intro of a video where features are being explained and actually get to the demoing part. Also, this might save you some time: There's a little bar on the bottom of every video where you can skip ahead. Also, in your stupor, you seem to be unable to discern the difference between background music for a talking portion of a video, and the actual demo part. But hey. We all have our bad days. Hopefully #whatever the hell you're talking about is treating you well. Cheers.
I was wondering. Thinkin about buying one and pairing it with a Mesa 2×12. But, the price tag is a bit...challenging. within a certain ballpark are a number of alternatives, ie ENGL EVH and BAD CAT and so on and so forth. Was it too weak?

I've been watching Badlander demos for hours. This is the best one, for sure.
Love this...and the big chords. I hear some mark holcomb-esque chords and I'm going to come back to this demo just to study what you were playing.
Dude. Really impressive playing. Very nice to hear someone tune UP. Great audio as well. Any Mesa can be dialed to versatility.
I just ordered the 50W head this week. Supposed to be here Friday. Stoked!
That Tom anderson looks killer !!! Combined with that nice sounding amp,, woahh explosiveee
Thanks for doing the clean stuff! Most reviews just crank up CH-2 to full gain and let it rip. Nice to know it has other sounds too.
Channel 1 and 2 are identical channels with 3 modes
@@stevehogsett8121 I see. Still, good to hear the clean sounds reviewed. Enjoy the day!
@@ttbean9491 Yes it is. The clean channel is just as important to me.
Awesome demo! I can’t stop thinking about getting one, this video didn’t help me with telling myself no! Lol 😂
"Light up the sky". 🤘😀🤘
Great video, Clint!
Awesome! Sounds great! Id be curious to see a comparison to your older rectifier. Great video.
Well, this is my next amp.
It's cool to put the old Rectifier together.
Awesome video, I like your style of playing.
Nice playing 👍
Good guitarplayer and nice demo!

Great video!
hmm nice! sounds lika a my mesa stiletto trident. Love!
Nice playing
Great demo!
How is it as far as leads?
So you can play vintage stuff on this or no? Fenders don’t have headphones output

Well played. Nice AMP.
Great demo! Would have been slightly better with the BIG RED HAT!
Awesome demo
Was this a mic`d cabinet or Cab clone IR out? Great sounding demo btw
Thanks, this was recorded on a 2x12 Recto Vert cab mic'd with a N22 and a SM57.
So is this lone star cleans still?
No Lone Star cleans here, tighter and faster response. All new circuit. Cheers!
Damn too bad I'm broke right now with this pandemic bs. Once I get a steadier job again I'm selling my Blackstar to put down towards this.
Thin
5150III EL34....IS STILL the better amp.
So you demo amp sounds by multitracking multiple guitars, having bass in there + drums? Really? Weak.
You clearly haven't watched the whole video.

I returned my badlander 25w. Worst head I've ever played. Absolute junk
