It's a much more solid film when you understand that Malekith is not the antagonist, Odin was. It was Thor's growth and understanding of what it would actually take to be a king.

This movie was great when it came out and its great now. If we had stuck with this kind of Thor, the fourth movie would have been one of the best in the MCU

Compared to Love and Thunder it's masterpiece. As a comedy or parody the jokes ranged from meh to atrocious and the action was mediocre at best and I'm being generous.
