honestly, I would say Batman’s Bossfight game is pretty creative thematically. 1. You’re fighting against the character you’ve spent the entire series playing as. 2. He uses the same abilities (at least in premise) that you’ve been using throughout the series: Special Bat-Suits, vehicles, and even Bat-Swarms (which you can use with the sonar-suit.) So it’s almost as if the game says “you’ve had fun playing as Bruce, but let’s see if you can beat him?”
@@TheMaleAlicorn Not talking about Smash. Imagine you are playing as Luigi and Peach and Mario just turns on them and starts using every power-up ever. Edit: Made a mistake here.

In ALL Lego video games from 2009-2016 on PC, you can enter the code "N 0 (zero) CUT 5", and skip all cutscenes with a button press for every cutscene. You will have to enter this code every time you reboot/exit the game though, but it's so worth it.
One of my favorite things about the LEGO Batman games is how, to facilitate more interesting combat in boss fights, a lot of villains are just given this inexplicably endless stream of themed goons to fight for them. People like Joker and Penguin, yeah, sure, they're crime bosses. It makes sense that they have a few hired guns around. But I find it a little harder to believe that there's guys out there who are not only willing to work for Killer Croc, but are also dedicated enough to dress up like a crocodile, and then fight Batman on his behalf.
It seems that the arc of this season is to avoid Bruce’s unwanted child while trying to dispose Robert in outer space once and finally be rid of him once and for all.
I don't think it's that bad despite the bad planet free roam. The one thing i like for no reason is the on the fly suit switching especially with the triggers, super seamless and just so fun to do especially in the air. I thought the story was alright too.
The game was great and the story was very enjoyable, the UI was really polished too and everything worked the way you would expect it to. But the Free Roam was so bad that there was no reason to come back to it. There were a bunch of vehicles but you could only use them on OA so after you finish all the stuff on the other planets hanging out on OA which felt like a green desert was the only option left. Lego Marvel Avengers made this work a lot better with the addition of NYC. Lego DC Villains had one of the best open worlds in any LEGO game
@@KingOfTheSeas_ , LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is tied with LEGO Marvel's Avengers for the best open world LEGO video game, while LEGO City Undercover is the third best open world video game, and LEGO DC Super Villains being behind that video game, and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes being behind that video game. So so so glad to see this show return. Bruce and Robert is what brought me to this channel back when they were robbing banks and assassinating villains. Now the boys are in space, putting up with vehicle missions and above all, dealing with Robert's incompetence and idiocy. What a comeback, can't wait to see how the season plays out. I’m so so so happy to see this series return. I’ve kept up with your channel since the end of season 2 but I started to fear we would never see season 3. I am so very glad to have been wrong. Love ya eyezayar
I remember how insanely hyped I was for this game, ever since the little teaser with Brainiac at the end of LB2. I actually still have the calendar somewhere with the date it was released marked with a hand drawn bat symbol. Honestly I probably got too hyped about it, I watched and rewatched the trailer so many times. Kinda set myself up for disappointment no matter what. Though to be fair I was twelve. Sadly Lego Batman 3 was pretty much the end for my love of Lego games, kind of poetic since "LEGO Batman: The Videogame" is the first videogame that I remember playing in my entire life. I had fun with 3, but nowhere near as much as I did with the older games, and none of the TT games I've played that came after gave me the same enjoyment either. Maybe I just grew out of it, I don't know. But I'll always remember the Lego games I did enjoy very fondly. Including, for all it's faults, Beyond Gotham.
I’m fine with this one being a Justice League game. I feel like it’s an evolution of the original DC cartoons. Batman the Animated Series. Then Adventures with Superman. Finally ending with Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. It’s honestly the absence of Hub world that gets me.
I really hope you like the game, gets a bad rap for how the plants were handled but it's still my favorite in the trilogy. Flying around as Lego brave and the bold or The Dark Knight returns batman in one of my all time fave campaigns, not including the excellent bonus level
The best part of LBM3 was the amount of DC characters you could play as. Every unlockable character felt unique and not like a filler. Did I mention the DLC character packs were solid too.
