You missed one thing: slower means smoother, most of the new players use lower gears but that is just making it easy to grip which isnt ideal for drifting, use higher gears. I usually shift down if i struggle with grip, i always stay at mostly 5th gear
Its unfortunate that solitary's drift mechanics are nowhere near realistic and only for being easy and having fun. If u ever get into real drifting or sim drifting you'll realize that grip is extremely important for not spinning out. The reason your able to drift in 5th gear is because in solitary the gear box doesn't work realistically and you can drive in any gear at almost any speed. You'll almost never see someone drifting above 3rd gear.

I honestly dont lower my cars very often either, mostly on shorter tracks and tight areas! Using lowering your car as a fail safe is a very interesting idea though, super cool!
I don't personally use PS4 controllers, so I honestly have no idea. If you're on computer you could always lower your car with the keyboard before you plug in your controller, but if you're on mobile, I unfortunately don't really know how to help. My apologies homie. 😞
another one begginers do is max revving cars to drift.. Learn throttle control for smoother drifts trust me, I was max revving when I started and i was going to fast and not smooth

Having ABS off essentially makes it so that your front brakes stop you quicker and add a noticable amount of angle to the slide. You can turn ABS on and still have good control of the vehicle so it's really down to personal preference.
Thats that Mazda RX7 FD, it doesn't look exactly the same now because a while ago they did a major cosmetic update where they swapped the model with a slightly different one without the same paint style. Hope this helped, thanks for stopping by!
This was before a major cosmetic update which changed the model of the FD slightly, so no more original FD! 😭 Maybe if I cry to the dev team enough they'll give us access to that model again! 🤞
If your cam doesnt lock by default it might have something to do with your actual roblox settings, check your 'camera mode' and make sure its set to 'Default Classic'. It might have something to do with which platform you're playing on as well but that I'm no expert on, hope this helps! If you need more help, feel free to drop another comment.
Thats something I'm not to sure about honestly. I do know that if you have both a keyboard AND controller you can lower your car before you start using controller. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
It depends on where you play the game, I can only really help with PC since I dont have access to console or have a good mobile device I can play on consistantly. Try changing your camera mode in the setting and see if that will do that trick! Hope this helps!

Thats true, but you also lose a lot of control over your angle and style if you drive like that, personally I perfer the hyper aggressive flamboyant style of drifting where you're on the ragged edge between losing it and saving it over and over again, I appreciate the tip though!

I drift with gear 1-2 only because its smooth to drift without shifting all the time.

Nope! I use the stock raised car with a few changed controls, the handbrake like I go over in the video and the clutch for manual transmission.
