I am from gujarat and during the earthquake in kutch [ the highest intensity earthquake in india ] our parents in other part of gujarat also felt the earthquake and some towns in kutch turned into ghost towns and many many ghosts in some parts of kutch ... it was very horrible

Kutchi culture is very similar to Sindhi culture, the people of Kutch have migrated from sindh in ancient times. Thats why you found so much similarities. Even sindhi language is common here too.
