Mountainous regions do not have good network coverage due to uneven topology. Signals from towers can not work very well due to such topology. In order to cover better coverage, one would need large number of towers to cover the same area as compared to plain topology. So it becomes extremely expensive affair to provide good coverage in mountains . This is the same problem throughout the world and not unique to Kashmir.
I am from West Bengal. the government shutdown school since March 2020 , no class , no exam. Our kashmiri people are blessed , they are getting few classes.
It will take tons of hard work for the government to improve the situation in this state, government must focus on building as many educational institutes, schools, colleges, sincere efforts from the Govt is critically required, in all parts of the country, there are so many such places where citizens don't have access to basic Facilities. I hate Lallantop. They mentioned the name Kashir instead of Kashmir. Kashir is the name used for propaganda. Word Kashmir is derived from Sage Kashyap and Kashir is Urdu word which sets ground for alienation. Lallantop failed to mention that schools are closed all over India rather they portrayed that schools are closed only in Kashmir. They even included the part where Gulam Nabi Azad's specific portion that suited their agenda. On education, they didn't mentioned that new universities and schools are being opened. Why the previous state government didn't provide better education infrastructure after ruling 70 years? Give time to central government to see the results. More than 15 electricity project are under construction which will help them in nearby future. The all weather roads and bridges are under construction. Srinagar metro is under construction. More than 80 thousand crores are invested by government in these two years for improving quality of life for rural people. Stone pelting and bandhs by groups has declined steadily. These all points Lallantop didn't mentioned because these don't suit their congressi agenda.

One thing I like in our Kashmir is that all students are taught in English medium so that all can compete, though our mother tongue in Kashmiri which is spoken language. this documentary focusses only on remote hamlets of Kashmir. They should also showcase educational standards on schools in main districts and towns. By nature we Kashmiris are very progressive in thinking though some salafis insist on sending girls in hijab and full burqa to schools. Over all Kashmiri society is very open minded and don't discriminate between education of girls and boys. I have studied till 10th in Kashmir and our female classmates used only scarf on their heads after 9th class, the way PTV newsreaders do. Our school uniform was shirt and skirts for girls and shirt and pants for boys till 8th class.

This is not only for kashmir, there are some other part of country like in UP, BIHAR ,ODISHA etc.our country is developing and continuously developing those integral land of our country.Definitly this will take some time, but we will overcome.

I hate Lallantop. They mentioned the name Kashir instead of Kashmir. Kashir is the name used for propaganda. Word Kashmir is derived from Sage Kashyap and Kashir is Urdu word which sets ground for alienation.
Lallantop failed to mention that schools are closed all over India rather they portrayed that schools are closed only in Kashmir.
They even included the part where Gulam Nabi Azad's specific portion that suited their agenda.
On education, they didn't mentioned that new universities and schools are being opened. Why the previous state government didn't provide better education infrastructure after ruling 70 years? Give time to central government to see the results.
More than 15 electricity project are under construction which will help them in nearby future.
The all weather roads and bridges are under construction.
Srinagar metro is under construction.
More than 80 thousand crores are invested by government in these two years for improving quality of life for rural people.

One thing I like in our Kashmir is that all students are taught in English medium so that all can compete, though our mother tongue in Kashmiri which is spoken language. this documentary focusses only on remote hamlets of Kashmir. They should also showcase educational standards on schools in main districts and towns. By nature we Kashmiris are very progressive in thinking though some salafis insist on sending girls in hijab and full burqa to schools. Over all Kashmiri society is very open minded and don't discriminate between education of girls and boys. I have studied till 10th in Kashmir and our female classmates used only scarf on their heads after 9th class, the way PTV newsreaders do. Our school uniform was shirt and skirts for girls and shirt and pants for boys till 8th class.
