You can check answer to the question on our Instagram channel “intellect.medicos”. It’s a 90 secs video explaining - How to calculate Heart rate when rhythm is irregular.
And btw it’s not a bait. TH-cam shorts (for short videos) are only for 60secs whereas on Insta, 90 sec video can be uploaded as Reels. That’s the difference. Also, I don’t need to give any clarifications. I am here to just help Medicos with educational content. Best wishes!
The rhythm is irregular so we will calculate with respect to 6 seconds . 7 QRS complexes in 6 seconds shows 70QRS complexes in 60 seconds. Then pulse would be 70 beats per min
With 6 sec strip- In 6 second there are 7 QRS complex. 6×10= 60seconds. 7 QRS x 10 = 70; hence 70 beats per minute. With 10sec strip- In 10sec there are 7 QRS complex. 10×6= 60seconds. 7 QRS × 6 = 42 beats per minute.
In case of Irregular rhythm, two methods follows 1. Take a 6 sec ecg lead II & calculate no of R - waves . & Multiply with 10 = HR In this case , 7×10= 70 bpm 2. Take a 10 sec lead II ecg, count no of R- waves & multiply with 6= HR. In this case, 7×6 = 42 bpm
this is Iregular Retham of ECG for iregular Rethem we shuld fowell Rules count 15 Bigs squr than calculat in this 15 squr we shuld calcolit QRC compex in 15 squre than multiply in 20 is HR of in this ECG in 15 Big squre is 4 QRS comlex than 4×20=80HR

Dear, on TH-cam we can upload only 60 sec video in vertical format as shorts. Whereas the video I recorded was 90 seconds. That’s why uploaded on Instagram. Anyhow if you don’t use Insta, it’s okay. Answer is 70 bpm. You need to multiply the number of QRS complexes in 6 sec with 10. And there are 7 QRS complexes in the ECG shown. Hence the heart rate is 70 bpm.
@@medicotobe2024 in an irregular ryhtm we have to multiply the no. Of R waves by 10 if the ECG paper is for 6sec Generally the standard ECG is taken for about 6 sec And as it is mentioned in the video also

Not everyone has instagram. Why tease TH-cam viewers by bait and switching them over to another platform? I think I’m going to unsubscribe.
Your wish dear!
I have even not forced you to subscribe.

The rhythm is irregular so we will calculate with respect to 6 seconds . 7 QRS complexes in 6 seconds shows 70QRS complexes in 60 seconds. Then pulse would be 70 beats per min
This is very helpful!!! I don't think there are many ekg shorts. More please!!!!!
Perfect 👏

Number of r waves into 10 for 6 seconds strip and r waves into 6 for 10 seconds strip. Answer is 70
Thank you sir , u r very good teacher ,plz make some other videos related how to read ecg
Great explin sir🙏🏻
Thank you ❤
In irregular rhythm QRS complex total number multiplied with six
So answer is 7* 6 =42bpm
Multiply by 10..so 7×10=70 beats per minute
I am not a Dr but love human anatomy and pathology 😊
In fibrillation ECG : heart rate is no. Of R waves in 6 seconds (in 30 large boxes) = 7×10 = 70 beats/min.
No.of r waves in 30 squares.multiply by 10.
7×10 =70 beats per min
Please try to make video series on ECG

There are 7 R waves within 30 large boxes. So 7 ×10 = 70. Answer is around 70 bpm sir

7 * 10 ans 70 beats per minute in 6 sec ecg
As it is irregularly irregular pulse
Sir why 300 is in the numerator
Please give the written explanation sir
