DIY Chalk Paint Recipe:
2 parts acrylic or latex paint
1 part pure talc (Do not use cornstarch baby powder it won't work because the cornstarch is too slippery!)
Mix very well, shaking is best. Check the paint often to make sure that the all the talc is incorporated. Use on any dull surface such as raw wood, plastic, metal. If you are gluing the project onto something, glue it first, then paint it. Sometimes the baby powder doesn't hold the glue very well.

If you wet your board the paper comes off much easier and if you mod podge over the chalk paint, your paint pens or sharpies won’t dry out.

I like the red truck on the 3 wood planks. That would be a good project to use a pretty gift bag. There are so many gift bags with really pretty designs, they would be nice to "display" in some way other than as a bag. :)

Have you tried the iron on technique with mod podge? Put on thin coat mod modge, let dry completely, when dry place image/paper, cover with parchment paper, put iron on low heat setting(no steam) for 30-45 seconds... heat re-activates glue.. no bubbles in paper/image.

All I can say is that I loved watching you create these projects the first time, and I loved watching this video. I got to see a few favorites and get inspiration from them. I have started very slowly to get things organized in my craft room, leftover fall supplies out, and taking stock of what I have collected for my Christmas crafts. BTW, I have had about six surgeries on my hands. It is totally worth it.. they look old but work well without pain. Carpeltunnel surg is a snap these days. I also had both thumbs fixed (basal joint). I couldnt hold apples or potatoes without pain.

Great job on all of them...one is nicer than the other... snowman shackers are my favorite....can you use them after using the spray sealer....I would like to try this.
Yes you can use them after you seal them with the spray. You just have to be very careful about how they are handled and clean them with just a damp rag not rubbing on them too hard.
