Now doesn't that sound good! The sheer crispness of these engines with modern ECUs is incredible! That's why we must fight this untrue and utterly pointless 'net zero' madness and ensure our children can enjoy these fabulous sounds!!
My 4yearold lad loves the sound of these escorts, his favourite along with subarus. Enthusiasts need to keep this all going for years to come and ignore any of the electric green nonsense the worlds mobsters sorry governments are trying to force on people
At the end of the day, not every car needs a howling Millington or screaming V8. If you're doing the school run or shopping, an electric would be fine. Synthetic fuels will be available for beauties like this to keep going! 😉
If only i could win the lottery lol.... One of these MK2's is what i'd buy. 32 years ago my first car was a MK2 Escort.. In total i had 3 of them. Great cars, you could throw em anywhere. Seriously, if i could choose any car, it would be one of these beauties.. 😍 Absolutely amazing work you've done bringing these back. Heaven on wheels..... Long may it continue 🙏
I am from Vancouver Canada. What’s your opinion of the Cosworths BD engine compared to the Millington? The BD is historically correct. Have you ever driven any cars with the BD or the Millington If so, what’s your impression?
BD is all about revs and sounds amazing af full chat, then the Millington has lots more torque as well as top end power, mated to the sequential gearbox its the ultimate driving experiance
The BDA's have smaller engine blocks, and can not get the capacity that the Millington's have but can put out similar power per cc. I would hazard a guess that with FI and modern ECU's the old BDA could put out impressive power today. My reference is 1974 Rally engines that I built at Ford Competitions those years where we achieved 242 bhp with 48 DCOE's. Lighter pistons, longer rods and lighter valve train bits available today would also help.@@MST_Cars @MST_Cars

@@alex_n8863electric? if it doesn't have an engine its not a car, its simply a toaster with 4 wheels
@@you_mad if it cooks my toast on the way to work that's a bonus. 👍
