i think it's pathetic how they said it could come out in october 2023, then they said spring 2024, and now they're not even certain if it will come out in october 2024
I like that they’re trying to get the game stable for console but I pre ordered the game back in August on my PS5 and I have no idea where my money is. PlayStation just says I’m “following” the game but I’m not sure if the preorder is still valid. Just wish they’ll give us the game as I’m tired of the traffic AI of remastered.
STOP preordering. Literally no point to do so except for early access to some less than stellar content in an unplayable game just to have them give it to the players a couple months from release anyways. Hopefully CO has taught you a lesson
On Xbox they refunded the pre-order (they did mine.) I would assume the same happened with PS. You may want to inquire on it. EDIT: My refund was credited to my account. Look at your account and see if they made a credit to it. If they did refund it could be there.
It was in my inventory with a countdown then it just disappeared and I preordered the ultimate edition. I've been curious of the same thing ever since and the longer they keep doing this the more I feel like once it does realease there's gonna be some technical issue trying to supply the game to everyone on console who preordered and it's just gonna not show up for me.
I remember back in December of 2023, I went to Gamestop and they allowed me to pre order Cities Skylines 2. I remember checking the receipt, and it said it was downloadable on December 31st. I didn't realize until later that night, it said December 31st, 2024. So I got a refund. I don't know if Gamestop knows something, or if they would contact me at that time, and say it ain't coming out until another time. A whole year I would have waited, and it still wouldn't came out. Maybe that will change, who knows.
And that's IF it comes out in october. I not sure of the whole backstory but maybe they were pressured to get it released by that date? I think that they should have worked on it longer before they announced the game.
@@SimGamesCorner They have a deal with both Sony and Microsoft to release it by a certain time. This is what happened with Cyberpunk and why it was so unfinished. I cant speak for PS, but many players I spoke to on Xbox were excited. But now, most told me they no longer care about it.
Yeah. Nowadays it seems like companies are depending on patches and updates to fix their game. Back in the day, what was released was all you got. Granted, technology is more advanced now so it could be harder to make a game.

CS1 is the only game he plays. Needless to say, he’s disappointed.
