- Callaway is renowned for their use of Ai and supercomputers to improve the performance of their drivers and irons, and now Odyssey have followed suit.
Their new Ai-One and Ai-One Milled putter ranges have Ai-designed club faces, which Odyssey claims can improve your pace putting by 21% and make you less likely to three-putt.
So, how do these new putters work, and are they worth the investment?

Nice review Hanna. These look great If I didn’t drop $400 on my Odyssey Jailbird 380 on that limited release in July I would consider one of these. The old me from 5 years or so ago would’ve put my order in.
They have some jailbreak minis coming to this line up soon as well!! Hope you’re enjoying your new putter anyway
@@hannahholdenNCG oooo nice ! That sounds great. Yes I’m loving my Jailbird 380 especially with the micro groove face. I custom ordered mine at 38 inches, still too long. I was custom fit because I’m 5‘6“ tall so I had him cut it down 2 inches to 36 inches. I told the custom fitter to install a 60 g plug weight in the butt end , reinstalled the 92 g super stroke stock grip. Counterbalanced to the max. Feels amazing. Especially inside 10 feet. Very stable.

Ive been in touch with a major club fitter in the north west whostated that they dont change the weights during the fit. Which is hugely disapointing as as stated on most if not all reviews the weights are interchangeable to "dial" in the puter.
I then contacted Callaway golf to see what they had to say.
This was their response via email.
Thanks for emailing Callaway Golf.
From my product manager he advises;
''Same as every year, all accounts who wish to do so will purchase aftermarket weight packs and then fit and sell on back of this. Timing for opening up fitting is wave 2 launch 9th February 2024.''
(THE FITTER I SPOKE TO) can speak with their Area Manager on this and decide on obtaining weight packs for fitting/selling prior to launch of further AI putters in the New Year.

So it seems the weights are availabke but at an extra cost.
Not impressed- sqeezing more money out of us average golfers.
I got the mossey version DB. I love the sound and feel like my strikes are so much better.
I’d need to test one out alongside my Ping JB5. Been in the bag for most of the last 30 years, only thing ever to come close on roll and consistency was a TM Spider ghost LE a few years back (still use it in Spain). Great video.

Probably the most important club to have variety as neck styles and alignment aids can really affect your putting

Has Odyssey changed putting forever? Perhaps that might have been asked of Karsten Solheim whose Ping putter was copied by just about everyone. Price? Yes, very expensive but on a par 72 course we're supposed to use it 36 whereas we use a driver perhaps 12 times.
£449 for a putter?! That's absolute insanity

Me too. Why I can’t stand blue or black wedges. Just how I am. Lol. Kind of a traditionalist. Don’t like playing colored golf balls either.
@@bennybelcher5940 …. Traditionalists is a great word. If it doesn’t pass the look test I don’t even try it. Even the shape of some of the putters and drivers I just can’t get past. At the end of the day we are fortunate to have options and a great chance there is something out there that fits everyone’s eye.

i have a buddy where i live & he’s been playing golf before you were even born .. & i guarantee you he’ll out putt you any day with his 20 dollar Walmart Putter… it’s not about the putters lol it’s all about the person running the putter.
