New gen assassins creed as been that way boss fights have not given any thrill. Not saying i hate but brotherhood will always be my favorite bcuz of its gameplay. This boss fights here was simply using the same arsenal and live set to use on any boss.

Theres an earlier portion where Odin meets him as a pup. You have to look at it like this, Fenrir has been abused and mistreated. Hes not supposed to look healthy. Odins cruelty twisted him into a monster

I was so hyped for this battle that I spent the last week grinding all the best gear in the game, I had the fallen hero set, the shield that cures 15% of your health and excalibur, and when I finally got the mission to fight him I took almost no damage lol
@@yoboy459 look up on yt how to get the fallen hero set and some op weapon (i chose excalibur) and get one of the abilities that heals you after you take damage

I like to think odin somehow defeats fenrir. Gives me hope especially considering the fact that he spends almost his entire life preparing for ragnarok all while aware of his fate. I like to imagine he pulls off some sort of wise old man tactic at the last minute and the rest remains a mystery as to what actually happens to him. The ice swallows him maybe. Norse gods are the most beautiful out of all pantheons in my opinion. They’re so symbolic and human, i think that’s why out of all pantheons I’ve grown so attached to this one it’s because they leave room for speculation and really make you question yourself. They’re very relatable as compared to zeus the floating immortal playboy for example
I like the way he looks he isn’t supposed to be a regular looking wolf he is a the offspring of Loki, and in the sagas he is a great terror so his fiendish look to me is fitting like his proportions are wack cuz he is supposed to be scary to the gods and men of Midgard, I had my reservations also but after a minute I was like ok this is pretty cool. Bruh this is a dream from a potion given to Eivor it’s optional. You can stick to assassinating templars and the England part of the game if you want to you don’t have to do the Asgard arc
He’s not actually there, he’s basically on drugs having a vision. You are still fighting templars however instead it’s too early so they’re called “the ancient order”
This looks like a pre-alpha version. Where are the music, the clashing sounds, the tension, the epicness? Why is the voice acting so damn bad and stiff?

Havi is another name for odin. Odin is King of the Aesir, Thus in turn making him Tyr's King. The Aesir have always been hated and feared by all, especially by the jotnar (only humans love the Aesir.) It makes sense that the Aesir would be so abhorred, considering all they care about is drinking, fighting, conquering, and ruling. The only Aesir that seems to have even remotely become more mature over time is Odin/Havi. Here however (currently) he is acting paranoid. He bound Fenrir because ever since he found out that Fenrir kills him on Ragnarok, he hasn't been the same

I love it when I’m doing so good and get this close to beating him and maintaining my health the entire fight , then Fenrir decides to do a complete surprise attack that only someone with super human reflexes can dodge that instantly kills me in one hit.

I don't really like the sound effects. It sounds like there is less weight in some of the sequences. Like where is the large snap from Fenrir biting Tyr's hand off. Etc.
Another thing I dislike about this boss fight? That instead of restarting you from the moment the fight begins, they dump you all the way back to the entrance to Asgard, so you have to walk pissed off all the way back to the arena.

They are called the Isu, and Eivor is a "reincarnation" (sage) of one of them, a mad Isu scientist called Odin who managed to cheat death by "uploading" a copy of himself into the human "genetic pool" (it's actually a bit more complicated than that) Basically Eivor is trying to understand her past by drinking a potion which lets her relive Odin's memory using her genetic DNA (like the animus which Desmond used to relive Ezio's life). However this method is imperfect and she can't comprehend the Isu, so since she only knows Norse mythology, it looks like this to her.

Pretty ironic how every step Odin (or havi) takes to stop his fate actually takes him closer to it. To think he’d gain such a powerful ally if he just trusted fenrir.
Is all the combat in this game like this? This feels unfinished. No music, no impact sounds, the bow feels like a toy with its plingy noise. There's no feeling of weight to your weapons at all.
Have you seen real arrows and seen them make contact witha flesh object? Also the malee combat is where its at. You cleave and smash humans , and the impact is there is f amazing. I recoment 2 handed axe better yet, dualeield thos pupies!

For everyone who Doesnt understand, Loki(a human) and and Isu had child (Fenrir) Odin was against mixed breeding so he wanted to kill that child. What we See here is a story from before the first civilization got Turned to ashes. And the Protagonist sees this Isu Story as a Viking Lore, because his mind probably cant coprehend whats happening.
After seeing God Of War Ragnarok all the plot, the bosses, the plot, the enemies to the music, the story and even the scale and seriousness of the battles everything in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarök feels so, so small, so empty, so little epic... Compared to God of War. I'm honestly glad that this game came out much earlier, because it would have been completely overshadowed in every way, and today after playing both games to the end I can say it without hesitation, this game is NOTHING compared to God Of War Ragnarok and The worst thing is that this Assassin's Creed is not a bad game, in fact it is very good but simply God of War is on another level.
If you get on board with where assassins creed wants to go and understand it then you won’t be mad. If you want more of the old style games just constantly re-designed, new places, characters but same style then your not gonna be a fan of this. I personally don’t mind the change I always loved the old assassins creed games up till unity but this game does have its perks and offers things the old games did not

I normally try to give any new game a fair shot of convincing me to go out of my way to buy it, regardless of past history with their respective series, developer and/or publisher. Although nowadays I'm more cautious about which games I go about getting (doubly so with everything going on) but it varies depending on how I feel towards a specific [developer/publisher], for example: I've already pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 because I genuinely trust CDProjekt Red with what they're promising about delivering a good product whereas I don't have the same feeling with let's say Bioware (ever since DA2 I've had a shaky feeling about trusting them but I won't go any further with my personal experiences with that subject unless you're curious). So in short, I came to see if it's worth coming back to the series, or at least giving the game itself a fair shot, but I still don't feel the "pull" to get this game so far. This game (or probably the series in general at this point) is probably not for someone like me anymore but that shouldn't stop or discourage others who might be interested in it, everyone has their own opinions.

Try using headphones or increasing volume. I turned the sound FX volume to 50 out of 100, because with anything above that, you can't hear the music at all in the game

He's taunting Havi with the knowledge of these events, and worse part is it's gonna play out exactly like that.
You know when Tyr looked back at that last part I know that he was going to say “Yes there were many other ways, but you chose to ignore them” it is written all over the guys face.

Havi is another name for odin. Odin is King of the Aesir, Thus in turn making him Tyr's King. The Aesir have always been hated and feared by all, especially by the jotnar (only humans love the Aesir.) It makes sense that the Aesir would be so abhorred, considering all they care about is drinking, fighting, conquering, and ruling. The only Aesir that seems to have even remotely become more mature over time is Odin/Havi. Here however (currently) he is acting paranoid. He bound Fenrir because ever since he found out that Fenrir kills him on Ragnarok, he hasn't been the same

Another thing I dislike about this boss fight? That instead of restarting you from the moment the fight begins, they dump you all the way back to the entrance to Asgard, so you have to walk pissed off all the way back to the arena.

Basically, you remember that weird Mierva lady at the end of AC2? They are called the Isu, and Eivor is a "reincarnation" (sage) of one of them, a mad Isu scientist called Odin who managed to cheat death by "uploading" a copy of himself into the human "genetic pool" (it's actually a bit more complicated than that)
Basically Eivor is trying to understand her past by drinking a potion which lets her relive Odin's memory using her genetic DNA (like the animus which Desmond used to relive Ezio's life). However this method is imperfect and she can't comprehend the Isu, so since she only knows Norse mythology, it looks like this to her.

Pretty ironic how every step Odin (or havi) takes to stop his fate actually takes him closer to it. To think he’d gain such a powerful ally if he just trusted fenrir.

Is all the combat in this game like this? This feels unfinished. No music, no impact sounds, the bow feels like a toy with its plingy noise.
There's no feeling of weight to your weapons at all.
Have you seen real arrows and seen them make contact witha flesh object? Also the malee combat is where its at. You cleave and smash humans , and the impact is there is f amazing. I recoment 2 handed axe better yet, dualeield thos pupies!

After seeing God Of War Ragnarok all the plot, the bosses, the plot, the enemies to the music, the story and even the scale and seriousness of the battles everything in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarök feels so, so small, so empty, so little epic... Compared to God of War. I'm honestly glad that this game came out much earlier, because it would have been completely overshadowed in every way, and today after playing both games to the end I can say it without hesitation, this game is NOTHING compared to God Of War Ragnarok and The worst thing is that this Assassin's Creed is not a bad game, in fact it is very good but simply God of War is on another level.
If you get on board with where assassins creed wants to go and understand it then you won’t be mad. If you want more of the old style games just constantly re-designed, new places, characters but same style then your not gonna be a fan of this. I personally don’t mind the change I always loved the old assassins creed games up till unity but this game does have its perks and offers things the old games did not

I normally try to give any new game a fair shot of convincing me to go out of my way to buy it, regardless of past history with their respective series, developer and/or publisher. Although nowadays I'm more cautious about which games I go about getting (doubly so with everything going on) but it varies depending on how I feel towards a specific [developer/publisher], for example: I've already pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 because I genuinely trust CDProjekt Red with what they're promising about delivering a good product whereas I don't have the same feeling with let's say Bioware (ever since DA2 I've had a shaky feeling about trusting them but I won't go any further with my personal experiences with that subject unless you're curious).
So in short, I came to see if it's worth coming back to the series, or at least giving the game itself a fair shot, but I still don't feel the "pull" to get this game so far. This game (or probably the series in general at this point) is probably not for someone like me anymore but that shouldn't stop or discourage others who might be interested in it, everyone has their own opinions.

Try using headphones or increasing volume. I turned the sound FX volume to 50 out of 100, because with anything above that, you can't hear the music at all in the game
