Use what you like. Single point sling, two point sling, whatever. It’s all good. In 2003, in the opening days of the war in Iraq, I used 100 MPH tape and paracord with a GI issued Army sling on a full length M16A2, that was a reliable set up for a year, I couldn’t have been happier.
"Nice musket!" For real though, such a good setup. Of course I have some super tacticool rifles but I still run an ACOG mounted to a carry handle and it's favorite rifle. People make fun of me for it but that setup was responsible for a war crime investigation for a reason.

Have this sling...and guess what...try running it backwards. Didn't like the bungee part around my neck (felt rough) so put the bungee part at the front of the gun. NOW you're talking. You still get the smooth glide of the weapon when traversing but the front bungee really allows you to punch the gun out and fantastic in prone. Try it!!!
Hell, I use old USGI General Purpose slings attached to 550 cord on the FSB and stock. It gives me two points of contact, and it is simplistic. It might not work for everyone, but it works for me.
Doesn't matter how much money you spend on your sling... Posts a pic of his sling at the same price as a Vickers or viking tactical. 🤦 Do what works for you.
There are a lot of bad bungee designs, but T1C slings are not among them. Ive gotten to use one and it was the first and only bungee sling I ever liked. And Ive been a sub forever, Ill probably go order one this week 😂

I have a savvy sling and tier 1 sling and prefer the tier one over the savvy. Next time you need a sling give his a try. Of course this is only my opinion. I could use a 550 cord sling and be happy lol.

I know good quality glass makes a difference but with a red dot it's not a big deal at all. Heck I never get a chance to shoot beyond 300 yards where I live I don't need a $2,000 lpvo to get good hits. I ran a match out to 300 yards with my 14.5 and a holosun 510c. I ran fine with the larpers with far better gear than I have. I'd rather spend the money getting more reps in and more range time. The gate keeping sometimes sucks in the gun world. I've been banned from fb groups because my "aero precision is garbage and will get me killed stop being poor" 🤣. Okay rant over lol. Subbed. Good content man.

I personally don't like bungee slings. But that's personal preference. If Bungie slings work for you then that's what you use. But if they don't work for you and you use them anyway because somebody else uses them... Now THAT is stupid

I'm a huge Bungee Sling Fan . I have WPS QD SLING with Jedi Buckle and I just got in my T1C Sling today . The T1C Sling is super impressive. The one thing I dont like about WPS is the Jedi Buckle . It's a failure point . Luckily I'm not assaulting my mom's basement and hooking the SLING into Helo Skid for extract so I doubt Jedi buckle will ever fail lol.. I have night time 2Gun Match coming up in gonna try the T1C Sling Out .
For that price I can buy 6-7 Chinese surplus slings, and do the same thing lol, i always wear BDUs so the collar protects my neck, and I always carry a two quart canteen slinging on me so I’m used to it

Why are people attacking each other for kit choices? Who cares what people run. It's America if you want to buy Gucci stuff than buy it, if you want to run entry tier stuff than run it. What doesn’t quite make sense to me is why, as a firearms instructor and cop, you’d drop your credentials and then proceed to insult fellow professionals in the same breath. If you’re truly a firearms instructor, shouldn’t the focus be on what works rather than dismissing what doesn’t fit your personal preferences? What are your recommendations for alternative slings? My current slide retention sling isn't working as well as I'd like and I'm in the market for a new one.
@andrewnguyen6772 I do focus on what works. No one in my entire agency NOR my entire COUNTY use bungee slings. If you've ever climbed a ladder, had to navigate your equipment, or had to do medical on someone, a bungee sling is not the BEST option. It's just AN option. No one wants any bounce or stretch in the sling. Very few people run 1 point slings unless they have a small package to carry around like a pdw. If you like em, use em. But don't I didn't make an entire fucking video calling someone out because they disagree with MY choices. He did. I had an opinion same as he did. He posted a poll as well. Last time I checked 84% chose the 2 point nylon over the bungee. There's a REASON why a bungee sling isn't always optimal. But I'm a "FuDd" if I say the bungee sling is worse than his "light placement". Even though his light placement isn't optimal for the C-clamp grip I teach to my guys.

But magpul slings aren't bad if you can get by the aggravating plastic adjuster. Ed Sherman slings are cool but they are thin and they DIG.

I don’t personally like single-point slings, so I wouldn’t have considered it, but I was curious about the practicalities of it. I appreciate you not being a dick about it. With two-point bungee slings, I’ve always imagined that having it tight to your body would be easier to manipulate than a stiff nylon sling. The bungee keeps the weapon close to you and evenly distributes the weight. If you need to use the firearm from its tight position, the stretch from the bungee would allow you to cinch the rifle just like a traditional nylon sling once you remove the slack. In addition to this, the reduced slack would mean minimal bounce for climbing ladders. When it comes to accessing gear or equipment, the bungee could be easily moved out of the way thanks to its stretch. In close quarters, the stretch would also allow for easier manipulation of the firearm. Traditional slings can still cause some rifle movement unless you get them super tight, and you’d also have to deal with the quick adjust to get it exactly where you want it. Granted, I don't have any experience with two point bungee slings, these are just ideas that seem practical to me. I'd like to hear your input on this, thanks!

Can concur. I have several of his single-point and two-point slings and they're hands-down the best I've ever used.

I made a sling out of para cord for one rifle I have. It worked.
