This was so sad because I love F&F forever but I'm glad she chose Mac because he never left he was always there for Maxie and Georgie..... I hated what they turned Frisco into ...a father who cared more about the mission than his children!

Felicia was an absent mother as well for awhile. Away taking care of her ailing grandmother, another time she was with Frisco on an adventure together. Really crappy writing. If you watch old videos of Frisco & Felicia when they were young parents, they really changed the characters

And give his acceptance or whatever of mac- I think this would have been more fitting. Also side note- the words he said to Felicia- often wonder if they rang/ring a little too true from Jack. He suggested her to the producers of When Calls the Heart and speaks so highly of her- he even said he'll always love her. But I get why she would not go back. Fool me twice...

JW's return was only for the 50th birthday of the show and had only signed a contract for 10 shows. They so mishandled the story of his return. As far as F&F went they both have moved on and that had been shown when Frisco sends her a letter back in the 90's not sure what year she gets it, but the letter addresses the fact that they both wanted fundamentally different things in life. They could have gotten together as friends to talk about the past and their children with clips from the past. At this point it's been referenced that he's now the head of the WSB so why not have him come back in that capacity to let Anna, Robert, Patrick, and Emma know Robin's alive and that Britt is Faison's daughter and worked with her father in kidnapping Robin---there was no need for Sabrina in the story at all
