Honestly, I think that Heartbeat is a VERY nice song to play on the piano, it has this very deep, dark feeling -I'm not talking about zombies xP music-wise- that's terrific on the piano, especially when it has a powerful sound like yours Jay ... @cutiecmc123 yea, I know alot of people are naturally gifted when it comes to learning songs by ear; but for me... it took me awhile to get the hang of it
@szeyeem Aww thanks so much =) Noo, that's not true; the only reason I've been able to play songs by ear so fast is because I've had training since I was 4 years old. Ear technique is a component tested on piano exams, so its something that I've really gotten a hang due to lots of practice. On average, it takes me a little less than half an hour to figure out the notes but it will take me another 30-45 minutes to figure out how I want to play it (ie. arrangement, dynamics)
