Summer accessories inspired by little treasures of nature: shells and feathers
The shells were given to me as gifts while these feathers were collected from the ground of a nearby park and thoroughly cleaned. I hope this inspires you in any way.

1. Headband:

* Beads and pearls

* Golden Acrylic paint
* Paintbrush
* Hot glue gun
* Scissors
2. Anklets:
* Feathers and shells
* Fabric Glue by Fevicryl
* Ribbons: Golden, Silver and White
* Paper clips
* 3D Glitter Glue by Fevicryl: Golden and Blue
* Hot glue gun
* Scissors

Back in the early 80s we clipped feathers in our hair, under the hair....they were actually roach clips lol but i was like 11 and didn't know what a roach clip was so i clipped them in my hair!

I'm surprised I don't see more of us in the comments talking about cultural appropriation and how our culture is not a costume. While these crafts weren't made with ceremonial materials (nor in a mean-spirited way), what they represent is ceremonial regalia, and that is what is offensive to indigenous people.
