Edison had an army of engineers working and inventing things for him (including Tesla), no wonder Edison patented thousands of inventions under his name. Truth be told, the only reason that Edison is more popular than Tesla is because Edison is an American so naturally he is more celebrated by the media at that time and Tesla has always been overlooked and just a footprint in the pages of history. I remember a few years back when the whole world commemorated Edison's death anniversary by turning off the light for a minute, got me thinking, how about Tesla?? Edison should be the footprint in the pages of history and Tesla should be the one being celebrated. True and only because he had money to pay for it and Tesla did not at least not at the beginning, but later he achieved all success and money, although he never truly cared for money but only for science.
