Watching the video, I noticed the 03 had a bung in it and I thought mines missing I'll order some of those from the guy who does the 3D printing for me. 1 minute later in the video, you pulled yours out and chucked it.! Thanks for saving me a few quid
I have an affinity for 6" quads, ever since building an Eachine Tyro 119 along with your build guide. Interestingly, the guts of that quad lives on in another frame, fc and esc still kicking...
I bought the X6 on Ali Express in the Black Friday sales for £250 UK including shipping WITH O3. Bargain! I think it’s ace but one issue with the FC. It doesn’t allow you to connect to your computer and power the receiver too, you need a battery. Contacted GEPRC and they said it’s just that FC as it doesn’t support it due to a diode. They didn’t include the Moderna antenna on the Ali Express version for some reason but I contacted them and they sent it out for free so now I have the Moderna antenna too. Really nice drone I love it and fly with 1850 GNB HV and get a long flight time too.
I heard blunty say that like 90% of his tech calls are people that buy something and instantly go trying to update fw and whatnot. I have only bought a few bnf quads, but Just since JB blows over it, What you should always do first, connect to betaflight and go to the CLI and run Version, Status, Dump all and copy all of that into a word doc. Clear the cli and run diff all and copy that into a word doc, Should make a folder in your documents called "drones" and save all of this info there. I also just keep my OSD preferences in a word doc, and paste that into cli and save, and fly it as is at least once or twice, just in case you get one that is DOA, if you try to return it, and they see you have made changes to the firmware, or ESC firmware you could have some trouble returning it. That way, if something does happen you have everything backed up. I highly doubt you can buy a BNF today that has really old FW on it, but if you want to go to emuflight or something like that, you can typically copy paste your diff all into the emuflight CLI and save, after you flash fw and it should be good.
Since BF doesn't lock the bootloader you can even make a copy of original firmware using STM32CubeProgrammer. That way even if the manufacturer used their own fork because the support isn't in a Betaflight release yet, you'll be able to revert to a working firmware.
I like the battery pads that like, diatone used to have that had like a basketball rubber texture... Often, late at night for hours I would just rub on my pads and think about flying.
When you do a full throttle punch out, it will perform significantly better if you have forward momentum. Try and cancel that out and go from hover. Helicopters have a rating for max ROC at a specific forward speed.
Bro put throttle mid at 65- 70 and up your rates a little , I fly 6 and five inch all the time 6”inch is my favourite and is definitely 90% as snappy forgot to add .. bi blades for the 6 inch give you more throttle range and snappyness so you don’t hit full speed so instantly giving you that odd feeling
GEP RC CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! Good equipment but I bought a brand new stack and the fc came DOA! They told me to go jump in a lake. Would not replace or return my money. Can’t buy from a company like that!!!
Yeh I was a fan until I had to deal with their customer service dept. They refused to cancel my order (as tax was made clearer) and informed me I'd have to pay £150 to cancel/return a quad. It hadn't been dispatched yet
WHY would flashing via passthrough be pain in the A ? It is most reliable and easiest way to flash Rx, and you really should show this, instead of messing with receiver with old deprecated firmware.
There are all kinds of quirks that make passthrough not work for a lot of people. You need Telemetry turned off, I believe? And then the timing of the bootloader window. And if the RX powers on from USB, you have to solder the bootloader pad or push the bootloader button. It's just a lot of variation that makes it hard to tell people how to do it reliably. Whereas the web browser way works basically the same, every time.

You’re going to put blunty out of a job with logical info like this

"GEPRC Dampftestbericht" - stop this translation madness TH-cam, I speak english too, leave me alone.
23:30 here ESC_SENSOR is important?
would you recommend the 5" geprc vapor-d5 analog or the iflight nozgul eco?
What do u have attached on the googles at the start of the video?
Should I pick this up if I just got a good pair of analog goggles, or stick with tinywhoops and lr until I get DJI?
build ur own
Awesome video thanks 😊
Have the DJI 03 X6 coming in a few days, ordered it as my first drone.
What about 6 vs 7 inch quads? Looking to build a long range cruiser with heavy batteries and an action 4 but stuck between these 2 prop sizes
What is a steam test report? (German TH-cam auto-translation of the title)
Denke das ist von TH-cam so gemacht. Er hat wohl native Übersetzung des Titels bei YT eingeschaltet.
5 for freestyle
6 for long range
🤜🤛🤟🥰😊
Get rc is doing this to compete with the ECO line from iflight... wich is a good thing! 👍 😊
SHOW US THAT O4 LITE
LOL you rock. also "someone" is vacuuming LOL
Hello, how can I pay you to help me fix my drone, and how?
Talking about geo fencing 😂
CPU load 62%??
Please stop the IA language generation, the french version is really bad. Better have proper subtitle than bad voice.
There is zero emotion.
Trump and his stupid tariffs are making everything more expensive. He did this last time and we thought it was a chip shortage it was tariffs
Gep rc stupid spell check 😢
