I'm talking to my husband who is my mechanic. He said get your car back from the Toyota dealer and find a reputable mechanic. They are scamming you. If you had "bad gas" you would use a can of dry gas and add it to your gas to fix it. Changing spark plugs should not cost $1000. Diesel nozzles are purposely wider than gasoline nozzles so you cannot fit the nozzle in your car, so it is highly unlikely you put diesel fuel in your tank. They probably saw two women that don't know about cars and are taking advantage of you. You don't have to handle this all by yourself, It's ok to ask for help especially if someone is trying to take advantage of you. Find someone to help you that knows about cars.
Exactly!! It's what happened to me soon after I divorced my ex. Van issues, car shop tried to scam me saying it was my transmission, went to different place, cost less than half what it would have. I still have never changed my transmission. That was 13 years ago.
Lacy, some advice about making phone calls. I was like you. (I am 63 now!) This is what I (still) do. When I need to make a phone call, I get a sheet of paper and write EVERYTHING on it. Word for word what I need to say. I also write lots of notes about things they may ask about. I even write my name, address, and phone number. Even my birth date and SS number if I need it. So I don't have to rely on remembering everything, or my mind going blank. I can just read it off my notes. Try it. The more you do it. The easier it gets. ❤❤❤
Pull the car from Toyota. Call your Uncle Aaron, Max & your Dad. They’ll help guide you to best decision on repair or trade it in. They may also know a trusted mechanic. Do not let Toyota fix it. Also as I female I learned to sound confident- even when I didn’t have a clue - and ask lots of questions - what does this do, why is it broke, how it it affecting XYZ … they more you ask the more they have to explain & wont BS you. And if I don’t trust their answer I keep asking questions til I do. It’s worked for me for the 30+ years I’ve been driving! You got this Lacey! ❤ Stay strong 💪🏻
Rather than going through Toyota who will charge a fortune speak to Jared and Aaron about it because they may be able to change the spark plugs. They may also know someone else who can change the oil. Please speak to them before proceeding... especially Aaron. Hope you have a better week 😊
One day they say one thing, then they called back 3 days later and tell you there is diesels in your tank. Do you have full coverage insurance on your vehicle, that sounds like someone intentionally put diesels in your tank. Check and see if your auto insurance will cover the repair. I had someone put sugar in my tank years ago, thank goodness it was under warranty. They had to empty and drop the tank and change the filter. I'm so sorry your going through this, I've had vehicle issues these last couple months, finally get the money for parts then a Amazon contractor van backed into my Chevy Trailblazer back bumper 😢 busting up my taillight assembly and denting my corner of my bumper way in. I take my vehicle to get a front end alignment because I had to replace the rack and pinon and get told I need two tires at least, I thought I had a couple months left on them, but I'm not ready financially 🤦🏼♀️I'm single, on disability and trying to make ends meet. Thank goodness 2 of my siblings came to my rescue to help me out. If I don't know what's going on with my vehicle. I go to a autoparts store, they plug a scanner like thing into your car and it reads your fix it codes on your car. Then I research It on youtube, so I know what they are talking about and what and how it needs to be fixed. Then I Google how much it should cost.
Been watching you for a while but just wanted to say that you aren't stupid for crying over it or being emotional - stuff happens and its stressful so crying and letting out how you feel is a good thing :D
I am a single mom of four boys, and I have had my share of car problems. At one time we had to walk for a few months, that was a eye opener for me. I took night classes on car repair it was hard but I did it, I did have to take the class twice. After that I found a honest and kind man to help with car repairs, he taught me each time he had to work on my car. Then came the day I did not have to call him every time . Dealer ships charge top dollar !!! As my sons grew up I taught each and every one of them to do there own car repairs. And you do need to have a account just for car repairs. I hope the best for you, but you can do anything you put your mind too !! Single moms have to wear many hats !!
Get your down payment back, pay for the diagnostic, and get a second opinion. Maybe even a third or fourth opinion. I believe that they're scamming you Lacey, if need be take your dad with you. While your dad is right that you need to know how to do these things, your dad will also be the male presence that you need to get this done
Between Jarod and Aaron, you will get the best advice! Your may not have a “person” yet, but dads and uncles are best! Glad you and Melinda have each other to lean on. Family is everything.
Lacey, if you ever have your inner saboteur telling you that you can't do things, remember it is you who is raising your beautiful Bexley. You are so much smarter and stronger than you believe. You're resilient, you got this! Melinda, you too. ❤
A dealer quoted our daughter an obnoxious price to fix her vehicle. We got her to go get it, take to another garage. The first dealer were lying. She got it fixed for third the cost. So thankful she went to a honest mechanic
Last week the Honda dealer cut something in my son's engine when he was there for a tire issue. Told him I was going to be $600 and that wasn't even on the paperwork. His whole car locked up on the freeway in Mesa. He could have had a bad crash we've seen where they cut it of course they denied it. Said it was due to sun damage. You can totally see how they sliced it open he wouldn't have been able to drive the car in that case. I'm just a girl too and I can tell they cut it. Even these big dealers try to cheat you. Get your car back and go find another mechanic.
@bernadettesmith2979 So scary! I'm glad he's okay. I had an issue with a dealership, and wouldn't give into them and they ended up cutting my brake line. So scary. Fortunately, it was a sick shift so I had a little control to slow it down.
Go get another opinion for sure but not from a dealer. Ask Aaron's friend that is helping Lucas,Max and Jake working on Max's truck. He is a mechanic. Dealers always rip you off.
I'm so sad for you! I'm thankful that my husband is a car guy and knows how to fix a lot of things. But i can't imagine being a single mom and not having a car. I'm sending you so many prayers and hugs. I'm sure your parents will be happy to help you if you need anything!
dealers will take advantage of you so bad and charge you 10x what an honest small business mechanic will charge you. I had a problem that toyota quoted me $8500 for, told me I needed a new transmission, and a friend of a friend honest mechanic told me that was a lie, he fixed the problem for 500$, and YEARS and tens of thousands of miles later my transmission is still doing totally fine. It's so important to find an honest small business mechanic that you can trust and that will explain things to you. The dealer is a scam. You are justified in crying, i know this can be so stressful!
I'm legally blind so I've never had a license but I do know how expensive cars are and a pain in the butt when they break. Hopefully your dad and uncle will give you some solid advice and help. One silver lining is these kind of payments help your credit score if you pay on time. Not much consolation I know. Im sure sorry you're going through this. Melinda is awesome and no stranger to car problems! Oh my gosh Bexley was so cute mimicking you Lacey! Much love to you from Wilsonville Oregon
Where did you last get gas from?? Is that gas station having issues where multiple customers are having issues with their vehicle after getting gas from them? I work for an insurance company and I feel like pretty often there are gas stations that end up with a bunch of claims because something was wrong with the gas because either it had water or diesel mixed in and the insurance company does pay for that so I don't think I would just accept what the dealership is saying as the only option.
Oh wow, so sorry Lacey!! I've definitely been in similar shoes. However, a new car will probably cost a lot more, plus can also cause your insurance to increase. Aaron does seem to be very knowledgeable in regards to these types of situations. Glad Melinda, called him.
Oh sweet Lacey I am so very sorry! I felt your anxiety over this, when I have car issues, I get so depressed and think the worse! I would honestly get a second opinion! That sounds outrageous, and I thought a diesel nozzle wouldn't fit in a car?
Bex is so cute and is getting so big!! I am so sorry to hear about bad of a week you had Lacey. It will get better hopefully! Much love for you and Bex!
Omg Lacey! I had to rewatch this! Bexley was too stinkin cute in the beginning with her very own commentary. Loved her facial expressions and gestures. Don't know how you made it through your commentary. I would have been laughing.
OMG Bex is just too cute, her repeating you was so cute. Def go get your car and take it somewhere else !! It sounds like they are scamming you or wanting you to buy a new car from them. BTW crying it out is a healthy emotion. After all, having your source of transportation down is a big deal. YOU GOT THIS !!
Lacey I had a friend with this same issue. I’m concerned like the others that the mechanic is scamming you. But if you trust them and still don’t know how diesel got in your car I’m concerned someone sabotaged you. If you accidentally put diesel in your car and drove it which I had a friend do 🤦♀️ it’s super expensive but if you have full coverage insurance their car insurance covered it except for the deductible. I hope this helps. I’m so sorry you are going through this. I remember when your parents bought you that car. Good luck 🍀🤞🙏
Omg yes imagine no parents or family life sometimes is super hard … it is super tough as a single mom car problems bills and rent it’s always something when your on your own I swear never gets better for me 😓
Last month, smoke was coming from under my hood as I was driving with my little one in the back seat: terrifying. Glad you guys are okay! It was ten years old so I cut my losses.
Hi Lacey, Melinda is indeed such an angel. She comes across so loving and caring on vlogs and having a sister-cousin like her; you’re truly blessed. Find a good mechanic! BTW, you’re a very special person yourself. Love from mum of four/grandmother of seven in England! Chin up, girlie! ❤
Lacey I feel you right now. My cars transmission went out and I’m a single mom too so I don’t 4500 just to drop for a new transmission. So for me I dropped my casual job that I was full time at one point. So I can take my retirement to pay for it .
What year car do u have, and how many miles. Sometimes, thinking about that helps too .. Keep your chin up. my husband's car is 10 years old, 260,000 miles, and $hit the bed .we are down to one car.. He's been out of work for quite a while. There is no real cash to get another car .used cars are so expensive as I am now finding out .I live in Massachusetts, and everything is sky-high expensive...Think positive...Praying all works out...If you get rid of your car..call around for a junk car dealer..some of them pay well!!
I'm in Australia so not sure if you're the same over there as here, but diesel pumps don't fit "normal" car pumps, so not sure how they can say diesel is in it??. Can you pay to get it towed to a mechanic you or the family know/trust. I avoid using the dealers as they usually charge ridiculous costs & personally found they can take advantage. Doesn't sound right at all ! All the best xo
He right its not an excuse. Our daughter took a automotive class in highschool so she can change her oil and my niece knows a lot about cars also. I just helped my hubby change an alternator and a serpentine belt. You got this.
As a single mom for over 25 years...take each day one day at a time. Your emotions are honest, real, and well earned. Good job handling things. Watch your back...always try for a second quote, but in the end trust you did your best even if it was the wrong decision. Enjoy life...its all gonna come together. Great job Mama!
Sorry you are going through this, Lacey. But glad you are with Melinda and together you are asking for help. It seems that most car dealers don't have a good reputation. And I think that there are as much men as women who aren't educated about their car. That's why all-round mechanics are scarce and overbooked. But also, why aren't there more female mechanics? Hang in there and continue to learn.❤ PS: I love how sweet you all are with Bexley.
You can sometimes get used parts. I've had to do that. Some were rebuilt some weren't. I'm in Texas, and I've heard there are places that help single mom's, or struggling families. I'll definitely be praying for y'all. I'm sorry life is so rough.
Most of that stuff is hella cheap. I worked in the auto part industry and what we sell it for vs what mechanics buy and sell for is INSANE!! I used to get the hook up for years and got my stuff fixed at cost but then when I started going to mechanic shops...I realized how much they scam. It's so insane! Especially when I would call them out on it
I have watched you since 2022 I know about hard times my Dad passed away few years I just didn’t know what to do anymore but watching you and the family it mean more than you guys would ever know
Bless your heart. Think of this as not a bad day but a good day. Everything happens for a reason. I’m confident good will come out of this for you. Your little Bexley is just too beautiful and I love how her blue eyes just pop. BTW, may I suggest you take a sign language class at your community college. You have the most beautiful hands and long fingers that are so made for sign language plus it’s such a fun class and it’s also considered a second language. You’d have fun teaching Bex cuz kids pick it up so quick. Now dry those beautiful eyes and put on your most beautiful smile. You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. I’m an Arizona gal living in an Arkansas world. 🤟🏼
I’m an insurance adjuster call your insurance and see if it will be covered a lot of of the times these situations are I actually just wrote up an estimate for a car that had bad gas in it the other day and it was covered!
It's not stupid lacy I'm going threw the same thing and still owe money on it and have 2 kids. Your not the only one! Just take day by day!!! Your doing great!
Crossing my fingers and toes for you, Lacey. I would talk with your insurance provider and see what your options are. You're right, the car might be a write off.
Lacey, look up the make and model of your car to make sure there havent been any recalls. If there have been, you can get it fixed free of charge❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Yikes that doesn’t sound good at all don’t worry Lacey your car will be fixed up and ready to go before you know it. Hoping it’s fixed soon so you can do what you need to do. Love you so much honey you’re such a beautiful young woman and an amazing mom.
Lacey I wish I lived closer I would be willing to help . My grandfather had a full service gas station he was a mechanic I learned a lot from him. I watched him work on cars all the time so I learned a lot. I've changed my own oil . I have put transmission fluid in my car . I've changed a starter on my car . There's no way you could accidentally put diesel fuel in your car the nozzle is a different size it wouldn't fit in your car. You need to get a regular mechanic to check your car not a dealership. Like someone else said get Cody your dad Max or your uncle to go with you. If you were in Oklahoma there is a guy that will fix anyone's car all you pay for is parts. He is a nice man that cares about people.Prayers 🙏 and Love 🤟 From Oklahoma
Not sure what Aaron suggests but maybe a second opinion? That sounds like a scam to me, 5K?? Car dealers will sometimes try to take advantage of women especially who don't know anything about cars. As someone who has been a single mom for 13 years now, when my kids were still school age, I had some issues with my van and the place my ex and I would normally take it to tried to convince me I needed a bunch of work done, including a new transmission which I ended up not needing. I still have not had to replace my transmission. The fix I remember was less than half what it would have cost to get a new transmission plus add the other issues I did need fixed as well. Hope you figure it out with as little money as possible.
same! Dealer told me my shaking transmission was toast, new remanufactured one would be 8k. I did a ton of research in the toyota forums and talked about it with a local mechanic, we decided to try just doing a transmission fluid flush with a special additive, would be about 400$ and maybe not work, but worth trying. It worked and years later my transmission is totally fine!
I was in the same situation a few months back. My car made some noises then all the lights came on and it stopped. Garage said I needed a new engine! £5000!! I am a single mum with 2 kids, a job, a life etc… and also no savings! I cried too! I first thought about trading it in but was told in that state it would only be £350 or if I paid the £5,000 to get it fixed they would only give me £2,500, I thought about getting another car but to get even a secondhand one slightly less mileage than mine was closer to £10,000 so in the end my parents paid the £5,000 and I got a new engine put into my car and I will pay them back. I hope you get yours sorted. It is so stressful but it’s a lesson in life that we learn from xx
Lacy check with the last place you got gas at. My mom got bad gas not long ago. The gas station put diesel in the regular gas. It was almost $900. The gas station paid for it. We has a receipt for the gas.
Toyota rips you off . I don't even get my oil changed their cause they overcharge . Find another opinion from another mechanic. What year was your car and how diesel ??? Someone sabotage you .keep your head up
Bad gas... Use a gas treatment! Sparkplugs do need changed now and then but you can pull them out sand them and check the gaps with a tool and see if that makes your vehicle run better... Google the check engine light information about your vehicle and see what it says... They sell code readers that you hook up to your vehicle and get the code and then google the code it will tell you exactly whats wrong with your vehicle... Good luck!
I had to get my entire engine replaced about a year ago. Luckily it didn't cost me anything because it was a known problem with my kind of car, but if I would've had to pay I would have just gotten a new car honestly.
So very sorry for your sudden car issues Lacey Thoughts and prayers that your dad or Aaron and Max can help you out 🙏❤️🙏 I would definitely either go to another dealer or find a good mechanic - sounds like that dealership ripping you off 😡😡😡 Bex was so cute holding her own discussion about something 😂😂😂 So lucky that Melinda is with you and being so supportive 🩷 Good luck 🍀 👍
Bexley is vlogging as well!!🥰🤗💕💕 Sorry about your car, if it is possible trade in your car! I understand, I have been there, myself. and have cried many times( oh yes!) Dad is right! ->As a single mom I had to learn a lot of things and it had saved me a lot of money. but I can tell you that things will get better!💞💕 An emergency fund is a great idea!! -> not only for your car but for other things as well.🤑🤗 That's good that Melinda is there for you💞 Blessings💜💜💜
Too bad about your car and I’ve read a few of the comments dealers can rob you so if there is a good mechanic, it’s worth getting checked out there in order to sell your car. It has to be working.🥰❤️
I’m so sorry, Lacey! It sounds like they are trying to scam you. I would definitely have someone else look at it. Car repairs are expensive, but 5K is crazy unless they’re replacing the trans or the engine! You are truly blessed to have Melinda there to provide support! She is wonderful!
talking on the phone is really scary to me as well lacey , you are not alone!! i find it funny though how you are able to talk to the camera to thousands and thousands of people 😂 but that is the funny thing about anxiety, it doesn’t make logical sense!!❤️
when your check engine light comes on you can take it to auto zone and they can run an error message check and then they could have replaced your spark plugs.
NO NO NO first of all dont gett rid of your car!! Spark plugs are not hard to change! Your gas tank can be changed easy! Pick one up at a junk yard and a mechanic can fix it! The dealership is way to expensive!!! Someone is taking you for a ride!!!
For the future, you may want to consider getting a AAA membership which provides towing assistance for basically free. One tow's cost will probably pay for the membership plus you can take advantage of some AAA discounts and such. I have it for myself and all my family members (wife and 2 daughters) and it's worth it. Being "just a girl" is not an excuse though; I have taught my daughters to do or at least understand some things. I have a female cousin who took auto mechanic courses many years ago. Girls are just a capable as guys when it comes to cars. And by the way, boys also need to learn about house things like cleaning, cooking, etc.
Second opinion for sure! If there actually is diesel in your tank, the gas station has had gas in their wrong tanks and you are not the only person this has wojld have happened to
There was a gas station in Midland TX that mixed up the diesel and gas and messed up a lot of peoples cars. Check and see if that happened where you get gas.
Lacey so sorry you are going through this. It is frustrating. What does your Dad say? Maybe take it for a second opinion. The dealerships tend to rip you off.
Lacey my friend just posted this. I don’t know if you were in St John’s but…. Anyone that got Gas or Diesel at the Gas n Go in St John's from Friday afternoon till Saturday (until they closed their pumps) if you have issues with your vehicle it was fuel related. A delivery driver put unleaded in the diesel tank and diesel in the unleaded tank.
If you had diesel in your tank, were did you get gas last, because this actually happened to my daughter's vehicle and it was the gas stations fault. They had the wrong gas in the pump. They were held responsible. They had to pay for the whole thing and for the rental vehicle my daughter needed to live. Only the dealer she went thru took over a month to get her car done. And yes I believe it was more than 5000 $. But she does have a land rover. But I would sure look into were you got gas last. Her car locked up almost immediately within in maybe 10 miles ...she was on her way to my house.
Take it for a second opinion. You wouldn’t just get a major surgery without a second opinion (unless it’s life saving obviously), same goes for your car. Either another Toyota dealership or a reputable mechanic local to you.
Ive heard of this happening to other people where there is diesel in unleaded gas. Definitely call the gas station bc they need to figure out what happened bc you arent the only one that this has happened to. Ive heard it happing in Texas too
In Australia here and not the same problem at all but had my only key stolen, Honda dealer quoted me over $3500 ended up using a local locksmith who did more than what Honda was gonna do for $300! I think dealers are notorious for ripping you off ESPECIALLY young females who think they can scam. I felt like this with my car until I found a trusted mechanic who literally won't charge me for things cos he's like you can do this yourself. They are definitely out there but extremely hard to find. Sending you guys all the love and vibes, I know how hard it can be Lacey hang in there and don't be afraid to cry - it can be SO stressfull!
I had a situation in my 20s where I was scammed in a similar way & I took my dad & his friend who is a mechanic to the garage to demand my money back & it worked. And I did most of the talking but having back up with me made the difference. It was also >$5000 charge. I'd only paid some luckily and I got my money back. It was scary to go confront them but it was a good learning experience.
Just be wise and talk to your parents and your Uncle.Aaron as car problems as you know can be expensive and a headache...been there I think a new car is a wise decision Lacie.Goodluck with it all you got Mel's support there❤😊
Your doing great! Hang in there. Life is stressful and it takes time to learn these things. Definitely talk to your Dad and Aaron and get a second opinion.
Im going through this right now and I'm so stressed and I'm a single mom and don't have the funds to fix my car so me and my kids have been walking everywhere my car just quit running and want start im so stressed and have been crying so much
Definitely get a second opinion. My daughter took her Nissan to main dealer in UK They quoted her £4500 . Got someone else to look at it cost £185 to fix it . Good luck x
The real mechanics are from crazy pieces. Most of the guys work in their own cars. Get car back and your deposit, invest it on mechanics other then Toyota. Yes, your dad is right on one account, but if he failed to teach you, it's not your lack of knowledge, it's his lack of him treating you like a girl and not teaching you. Don't be hard on yourself. Live n learn. I've notice Melinda's dad teaching both boys n girls about oil changes/checks, changing tires....etc...maybe you need to turn to them for assistance. I was raised in group homes, since afe 10. I didn't learn anything about cars until I became a teen mom. I literally changed a starter on the spot...on my way to a mechanic. I was taking it to him. But I called a friend and he gave me step by step instructions. Always carry an air pump with you and a tool kit. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Oooh n check cameras! If there was diesel in your tank, someone might be messing with your car. 😢. When I was going thru a divorce someone witness my ex under the car..then that morning my brakes failed! Stay alert, trust your gut, and buy a lock cap for your gas tank. Wooah...I just told you half my life story!!
You are just a highly capable young woman, raising a little girl who will become a highly capable young woman. ❤❤❤ If you get a check engine light on your auto, you can take it to Auto Zone & they can hook up their equipment to it to decipher the codes. I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. I can’t imagine you had diesel in your tank. Did you get gas prior to the lights going crazy? Any other cars messed up after getting gas at the same place? Bexley is the cutest! ❤
Toyota dealerships always charge high (hate getting an oil change bc they always find something)👎🏾 had a flat tire on 1 wheel and wanted to charge me $1000 to get all 4 fix. Went to Sam club and they charged me $425 for all 4.
This!!
Honestly first thing that popped into my head was what if this is a scam…. To first and foremost before doing anything get a second opinion.
@@codimarie090 yup..
Exactly what I was going to say. !! Please get a second opinion. And if you're nervous. Your dad will help you. A man, they won't try to scam you.
Rather than going through Toyota who will charge a fortune speak to Jared and Aaron about it because they may be able to change the spark plugs. They may also know someone else who can change the oil. Please speak to them before proceeding... especially Aaron. Hope you have a better week 😊
Don't take it to the dealer

Pull the car and talk to your Dad and Aaron to see what else can be done.
5000.00 is ridiculous
Been watching you for a while but just wanted to say that you aren't stupid for crying over it or being emotional - stuff happens and its stressful so crying and letting out how you feel is a good thing :D
thank you!! i needed this!!

Bex is getting so big 😢 her blonde hair is too cute!! I’m so sorry you’ve had such a bad week, Lacey! I hope things get better!! ❤
Go get another opinion for sure but not from a dealer. Ask Aaron's friend that is helping Lucas,Max and Jake working on Max's truck. He is a mechanic. Dealers always rip you off.
we are!!
Glad to hear it. I had to learn the hard way growing up @CrazyGoodLife
Prayers you have a better week
I'm so sad for you! I'm thankful that my husband is a car guy and knows how to fix a lot of things. But i can't imagine being a single mom and not having a car. I'm sending you so many prayers and hugs. I'm sure your parents will be happy to help you if you need anything!
So sorry you had to go through this! I love how close you and Melinda are. Everyone needs "that person" ❤
dealers will take advantage of you so bad and charge you 10x what an honest small business mechanic will charge you.
Wow! What a bummer! I'm glad you have Melinda!
Awww I feel bad for you. Bless Melinda and your dad❤Bexley is a sweet one❤
BEX is cute, tho. Her cuteness has stolen most of this vlog.
Ok I'm back. You are in perfect hands with your dad, mom, and brother.
Bexley is so adorable mimicking you! 🥰 😆 ❤
It will be okay Lacey, it will all work out in the end. Try not to stress to much.
So glad you have her. You're never just a girl . Your beautiful and Perfect. Great sense of humor too
You shouldn't be single for long
Bexley is so cute ❤
Everyone needs a Melinda in their life, she is awesome
Car trouble is so stressful, sending you a great big Irish hug,Melinda is good to have in your corner ❤
Hey Lacey I sure hope your week gets better sorry you're having such a bad week 😭 much love to you 😘❣️
Lacey I feel you right now. My cars transmission went out and I’m a single mom too so I don’t 4500 just to drop for a new transmission. So for me I dropped my casual job that I was full time at one point. So I can take my retirement to pay for it .
I'm so sorry this is happening to you. Car troubles stink.
Can i just say how adorable Bex is memicing you. She's so cute.
Definitely a second opinion from a good mechanic. Dealerships overcharge.
Ouch!!!! Feel bad for you...hang in and you are a lucky girl to have Melinda!!
He right its not an excuse. Our daughter took a automotive class in highschool so she can change her oil and my niece knows a lot about cars also. I just helped my hubby change an alternator and a serpentine belt. You got this.
I’d say definitely see if a family member has a vehicle you can buy, sucks with all these expensive issues!
Sweet baby is getting so big!
Hang in there and continue to learn.❤
PS: I love how sweet you all are with Bexley.
Hugs! I’m thinking about you.
Wow, so much going on. Hoping things get better. You and Melinda make such awesome Sister cousins.
Life lesson. I've learned over the years to not panic and sit on it like Melinda said.. it'll all work out
I would be crying too, I think they are taking of you ! You will be ok
Bex is so cute mimicking you in the beginning repeating you and talking to the camera 😂❤
Yeah.
Going through a dealer is much more expensive than going through a regular garage. And if it costs that much I will be getting a second opinion.
Hi guys 😊love you and Melinda’s relationship, bexley is just so cute ❤hope you get your car situation sorted soon❤
I'm so sorry Lacey...I would trade it in for a used car.
Love y’all bex is getting so big wow 😮 sending you love and good vibes ur way for you and Bex ❤😇🙏🏾🙌🏾😃❤️🫶🏾🤟🏾🤍🫡💯
Good luck!
Good life lesson. Save for emergancys in life
I had to get my entire engine replaced about a year ago.
Bexley is vlogging as well!!🥰🤗💕💕
Sorry about your car, if it is possible trade in your car!
I understand, I have been there, myself. and have cried many times( oh yes!)
Dad is right! ->As a single mom I had to learn a lot of things and it had saved me a lot of money.
but I can tell you that things will get better!💞💕
An emergency fund is a great idea!! -> not only for your car but for other things as well.🤑🤗
That's good that Melinda is there for you💞
Blessings💜💜💜
If there actually is diesel in your tank, the gas station has had gas in their wrong tanks and you are not the only person this has wojld have happened to
❤ honey, please don't pay the dealer for repair. Go get your car.
I love watching your TH-cam channel
Just be wise and talk to your parents and your Uncle.Aaron as car problems as you know can be expensive and a headache...been there I think a new car is a wise decision Lacie.Goodluck with it all you got Mel's support there❤😊
0:24 Bexley and her mom describing their coincidentally similar car troubles
Your doing great! Hang in there. Life is stressful and it takes time to learn these things. Definitely talk to your Dad and Aaron and get a second opinion.
Im going through this right now and I'm so stressed and I'm a single mom and don't have the funds to fix my car so me and my kids have been walking everywhere my car just quit running and want start im so stressed and have been crying so much
we’re in the same boat! i’m so sorry🩷
@@CrazyGoodLifeyes girl we are it sucks so bad ❤
If you get a check engine light on your auto, you can take it to Auto Zone & they can hook up their equipment to it to decipher the codes.
NO get your Car back. Honey, don't do this. Get a 2nd opinion 😭
Main dealers are always expensive.. Mostly cost goes in labour. Diesel in fuel isn't 5000 to fix.. You need a second estimate
