Do you have to take off the bumper to replace the fog light is there a way to access them from the wheel well? I only ask cause I'm a little nervous to remove the bumper
Kurt Karry you might be able to, but you will likely need to pull off either the inner wheel liner and/or the under engine splash guard. Pulling the bumper is, probably the easiest way. The bumper comes off easy, I am sure you can handle it.
Kurt Karry if you are just changing the bulb then you can do it through the wheel well. I changed my bulb to an HID bulb and dident take the bumper off. if you are replacing the whole fog light then yes t you have to remove the bumper.
Things I like, thanks for the great tutorial. I am doing the same and was thinking that the bumper did not have to come off. The fog lights bolt directly into the bumper itself on the inside. The whole key is to remove the wheel for better access, and take off the lower retainers so you can get the wheel well covers opened up for better access. I suggest anyone doing this to wear a long sleeve shirt to protect your arms from the sharp edges and using something to hold the wheel well open, like a small piece of two by four wrapped in a towel to guard against marking anything. I have some replacement LED fog lights coming that have a center LED projector and a DRL LED ring surround, made by LEDIN, part number #MSLAFL-0110-904 for $72.00 off Ebay. Any insights on aiming the new lights, do you think they will be set from the factory at the correct angle?
I believe you can do this without taking off the bumper. I cannot say if that would be easier or not. The lights you are getting sound great. For aiming the lights, I would park the car in front of a wall and turn on the lights. Then mark the borders of the lights with some masking tape. After you put in the new lights, compare the borders and adjust as necessary.

FYI,no need to remove bumper. You can access fog lights by removing 2 covers underneath motor. vehicle has to be on ramps.
Even easier if you just remove 2 clips for the fender liner. Peel back and the fog is right there. 5 minute job.
