Broke 1 launching in 3rd gear, by accident Broke 1 on my first PROTREE launch And broke 1 on the 1-2 shift Also broke intermediate shaft once, on the 1-2shift Well over 500passes in 10years, the last 85 or so being in the 9s. Both of our 9second cars run stock axles. All 6 of our 10 second cars do too.
@@MackDolo it is factory closed deck, iron block. But still has no cement poured in for support against cracking the walls. Common practice on 4g63 and maybe 2jz, etc
The stock motors are only non interference if you are not running large cams and stock style pistons. The factory pistons sit very far down in the block. Trust me when I say break a timing belt at 6500rpm with 10.5 to 1 and crower stage 3 cams and you will need valves and or additional items.

Super impressive considering this thing is not even remotely gutted. No lexan, plus all the steel body panels and majority of the interior are intact.
for me looks like the hood and trunk are fiberglass maybe carbon, cuz the red paint on em are slightly different.. still so impresive and consistent.

Not half or fully filled with cement. Aka none (stock block)
More or less there is still coolant around the cylinders. People fill those areas of coolant with a cement/epoxy to stiffen the cylinders.

Nice srt8 neon sad that these motors are interference engines but hey it is a nice car and makes good power nice build
Incorrect
its the transmissions in these that are the weak point.
Stock they have one of the only DOHC 16valve engines in the world that is NON interference
SRT4 is non interference motors and are 4 cylinder cars
