@@kayfurlano1462 Yeah that was kinda my point. Our society has sunken so low with this mentality of: criminals are just misunderstood and people 18 and younger shouldn't get serious time no matter how severe the crime. Ignore the victims and law abiding tax paying citizens we're screwing over in the name of "social justice". It's so prevalent that this mentality has infected everything as seemingly minor as television and media to major institutions from the medical field to the Criminal Justice system to the point that seeing a judge do her job with professionalism, empathy and respect while also appropriately sentencing people is so rare that people are in awe of it. Also watching it because it gives them some faith in our system because that's definitely needed nowadays. And it's a real life strong, professional, intelligent woman. Something that is also sadly not normal.
@@acfiltersrule It appears this individual is battling drug addiction, heavily relying on his elderly parents for support, and resorting to theft to cover any financial shortfalls. Would it be prudent to leave him in the same exact circumstances that exacerbated his troubles? Moreover, Texas law provides a legal framework that allows courts to determine probation conditions. It's essential to acknowledge that agreeing to probation entails surrendering significant freedoms as a trade-off for avoiding imprisonment. Those freedoms include the types of employment that you are allowed to undertake.
No, he’s definitely going to fail this probation by not getting proof of employment. I see this coming right now. He is a lazy man, and lazy people will push it to the very last inch of rope before they make a change. Watch and see, I bet we’ll have a video of his revocation hearing within 90 days at the most 🤦🏽♀️
@chilltarts879 That's the whole point, she just likes sending people to prison. She makes these probations guaranteed to fail. She just wants another chance to berate and insult them and say it's their fault.
@chilltarts879 We are all like that to some extent. This has been bred into our genetics through millions of years of evolution, millions of years of survivors who were able to adapt to their way of forcing others to do it. persevere. We evolved on a world where resources were scarce and often difficult or dangerous to come by. A world where a safe and easy next meal was never guaranteed. Wasting calories unnecessarily could mean the difference between life or death. We have a natural evolutionary rooted aversion to movement, we want to move only when absolutely necessary. We are extremely comfortable sitting still when there is no pressing need not to. The fact that resources are typically no longer scarce is irrelevant, you are fighting against millions of years of evolution and the fact that things have changed in the past 100 years or so means almost nothing. It would take tens of thousands of years if not hundreds of thousands of years of abundance before evolution would ease up and we wouldn't be so averse to wasing calories on non essential tasks. It pervades all of human history. At the dawn of civilization the institution of slavery swiftly followed but had almost certainly been informally practiced for thousands of generations. Menial work needs to be done, we naturally don't want to do it, if we are jn a position to force someone else to do it...why no? Nature is full of cruelty and exploitation. We only stopped doing it when the economics no lsens made sense. The people with the option not to do the work still didn't do it, they just found a more efficient way of getting others to do it.
I've seen her make some rulings where the comments section is in outrage over her leniency, but her leniency is *why* I enjoy watching her so much. She genuinely cares and wants people to get their lives together, but she's also not afraid to come down hard if she recognises she needs to. I don't respect the judges who default to coming down hard nearly as much, but maybe that's just me wanting to see the good in everyone and believing that they deserve a second chance to fuck up and show that they're not serious about themselves *before* they get the book thrown at them 😅
The arrogance, self entitlement, and refusal to accept his short comings really make me happy I don’t know anyone like him. He’s a disgrace to not only still be this foolish at his age but to also take money from his elderly parents, shameful. He acts like he’s a teenager but forgets he’s closer to the other side of life than his youth. At some point he has to accept his shortcoming and the judge definitely gave him a much needed wake-up call.

Judge B asked him at the start "what have you learnt" - you just know by the way he laughs and fiddles with his paperwork, he is thinking "I just need not to get caught", Judge B is awesome! He does not give off the vibe of a qualified Massage Therapist. Regarding the Meth issue he says he has never had any Drug charges - again all it means is he hasnt gotten caught before....this man needs to understand that actions have consquences.
I have to give it to the judge, she never let up on him. Once he painted himself into a corner, she asked every uncomfortable question she could and didn't stop. I always find it odd that so many of these defendants don't have a job, can't pay their bills, but always seem to have money for weed. Shows where their priorities are.
Attorneys prepping their clients for Judge Boyd should stress to them to KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! Do not talk unless asked a question, and answer the question HONESTLY!! Defendants routinely dig themselves a hole when they run their mouth.
Ooof Judge Boyd wasn’t rattled at all by the way this 45 yr old spoke to her. I bet she’s never heard anyone say you’re belittling me. Calling that disrespectful to the court so in return she flexed and said what she said. Hmm 🤔 wtg 😮 sir you been Boyd 100%

The positive for opiods is worrisome. He's taking care of his elderly and disabled parents who may be prescribed opiods. I really hope he's not stealing his parents meds 😢
I got my first job when I was 15 years old and was still living at home...from that point on, other than paying the mortgage and buying food for the family, that was the LAST time she had to spend money supporting me!! 45 years old and still syphoning your survival off of your elderly parents is disgusting!!!
Lesson learned. Never, ever being an a**hole towards someone who has authority to put you in prison. Keep your shut, and Yes your honor or No your honor.
5:50 Have you ever seen a "45 yr old vampiric parasitic slug"? If you are watching this right now... YES, you have! Its wearing a red shirt & it forgot to wear it's bra today...
Someone get this judge a TV show! She needs to be America's judge! Those poor kids! At what point do you deserve consequences for your actions? You want respect? Carry yourself in a way that commands it!
Then what? They'll just get out and run back to the drugs. Getting someone sober doesn't correct the problem that led them to drugs in the first place. It's like a sapling that bends in the wind and it's leaves get soiled with mud. Sure, you can hose off the leaves, but that does NOT correct the weakness in the sapling that allowed it to bend in the first place and the next high wind will just muddy the leaves again. Opiates are particularly troublesome because often there is an underlying reason why they're taking the opiates and many need them to even be able to work in a diminished capacity at all. Without the opiates, they might not even be able to care for themselves, let alone work. And goodness knows that doctors do NOT care about chronic pain. They just shove a few pills down your throat and send you on your way. There's no profit for them in actually curing your pain problem, after all.
Doesn’t work because if they don’t want to change then it doesn’t matter. Once they’re out they’ll just keep using. Can’t help those who won’t help themselves Obviously if they want to change then prison can work, but so can treatment outside. I bet this guy ends up in prison though

A licensed massage therapist?
Him?
That is the stuff of nightmares.😳😱
Judge Boyd knows that he’s lying and probably is living off his Parents. Please be quiet, learn something.
This dude ain't getting a full-time job in 15 days LMAO
😅😅😅
😂
The real question is how long he has to keep it
Wow, Judge Boyd is amazing! Excellent sentencing! Hopefully he’ll be on the right path now.
Belittling you in front of the court?! Judge Boyd IS the court!
I love this judge! As for the defendant, the more he talked the more trouble he was in
This is the wrong judge to piss off. She is very fair and compassionate, but if you piss her off, you're gonna regret it.
And the other judge-E. Lynise Bryant from Detroit
Judge Boyd is not a defendants enemy . She cares ! She wants to help . But , she can't , if defendants are dishonest with her .
Absolutely 👍👍
Tell 'em Judge Boyd!
I moved from SF CA to FL bc my beautiful city if FULL of ppl like this man. He would LOVE CA. If you steal under $950 it isnt even a crime. Stores are closing in the dozens and a major hotel and shopping mall just went into foreclosure bc they are bad investments due to the city going down. But yet, ppl like this man are full of excuses, lies and most importantly a bunch of DRUGS.
His ego is too big for his good
Judge Boyd is NO JOKE! She’s the Queen of F*ck Around & Find Out!
We need more judges like this one. She always, always calls people out and makes them accountable for their actions. Less plea bargaining and more accountability. Awesome your honour.
that defense attorney was mentally screaming at that guy to shut the heck up.
@EmLovesCW. I was sitting here watching this and screaming at him the same thing.
As an LMT, I want to assure each and everyone that he is NOT OUR PEOPLE.
@@jimthegatormantwopoint0 Licensed Massage Therapist
I guess they think they are special, and give themselves a abbreviation title like that LICESNCED MASSAGE THERAPIST @@jimthegatormantwopoint0
😂😂😂😂😂
I don't believe that he was actually a massage therapist. I think most of the crap that fell out of his mouth was a lie.
He may have received a certificate to be a MT, but clearly he's not working in that or any field so maybe he was forced to get it - like maybe at one point earlier in life he had received TANF and they made him attend a school in order to continue getting the Benefits or perhaps an ultimatum from his parents or a spouse, or something??
I am so impressed with Judge Boyd, level headed even temperament but fair and absolutely takes no BS! If we had more Judges, with this type of professional, logic, common sense, compassion and absolutely goes by truth. We wouldn’t have a Justice issue!
Judge should have asked this clown if his parents are on any pain meds. Wouldn't be surprised if he was taking them from his own parents.
His adult daughter followed him to Texas to live with his adult parents / her grandparents. Those poor elders! Probably getting wiped out n
I respect and adore Judge Boyd!
This judge is great!
He has to take a class that judge boyd said it "tells them not to steal" lol he has to take class one AND two lol
I have to give it to the judge, she never let up on him. Once he painted himself into a corner, she asked every uncomfortable question she could and didn't stop. I always find it odd that so many of these defendants don't have a job, can't pay their bills, but always seem to have money for weed. Shows where their priorities are.
Judge Boyd is a BOSS,😮😮😅😅 I JUST LOVE HER BC SHE IS THE SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!!!!😮😮😮😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The judge is a lovely lady. Cheers Rosemary Western Australia 73yrs
Exactly!
Boyded!
Don't count judge Boyd out she is smart and very knowledgeable. Luv ❤️ Judge boyd
Not surprised he was a massage therapist in Arizona. I live here and there are so many unqualified people working fields they should not be. I wouldn’t let him massage my dog.
gotta love this judge...
What an amazing Judge!!
We need more judges like this gorgeous lady!!
Hard but fair!! Love her!
She wasn’t hard for that one nor the things she ordered
Thank you Your Honor for being just and fair, while still dispensing justice for the people. As a retired prosecuting attorney, I salute your efforts!
Judge Boyd is the best!
Such a great Judge! ❤
Clear as day. No shenanigans with Judge Boyd.
Stop shaking that paper. Period. LOL.
So annoying...🤔
The positive for opiods is worrisome. He's taking care of his elderly and disabled parents who may be prescribed opiods. I really hope he's not stealing his parents meds 😢
I got my first job when I was 15 years old and was still living at home...from that point on, other than paying the mortgage and buying food for the family, that was the LAST time she had to spend money supporting me!! 45 years old and still syphoning your survival off of your elderly parents is disgusting!!!
I love this Judge!!! I wish we had more like her ❤
I love this judge!
I love this Judge. She is amazing!!
This woman is brilliant ❤❤❤
That's why you don't get into a back and forth with the judge!
LOVE this judge! She really cares and wants people to get better and do better!
Judge Boyd is the best
She is 100 percent correct
Lesson learned. Never, ever being an a**hole towards someone who has authority to put you in prison. Keep your shut, and Yes your honor or No your honor.
Love this Judge. Go get them!!!
Awesome judge!!!
Judge Boyd: What have you learned?
Me: Don't get caught?
Judge just smashed this guy lol.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 His only thought is to get out of here.😮😮😮😮😮😮
I wish Mrs Boyd was a judge in my State 💯
Love her!
The judge has a different beautiful purse everytime I see her on TH-cam.
That white one is lovely.
I LOVE Judge Boyd SO MUCH! Especially for saying this. It is absolutely true. This man needs to be working. It's ridiculous.❤
I love this judge!! She does not suffer fools gladly!!! She calls them as she sees them!
I love this judge.
5:50 Have you ever seen a "45 yr old vampiric parasitic slug"? If you are watching this right now... YES, you have! Its wearing a red shirt & it forgot to wear it's bra today...
What he does for a living is take money from his parents social security check and scrap metal illegally.
Many will say thank you, Judge Boyd ! You are a velour glove in a law hand ..... that is how it was when I was young ... she's a really good Judge ...
preach it girl!!!!!
Defiant and disrespectful will get you no where in life.
Best Judge ever! Firm but cares! true Role model!
I love how they mumble and stumble over their words when they're lying😂
When you are in court, you have to let your pride go. If you are not honest, it will eventually catch up to you.
Someone get this judge a TV show! She needs to be America's judge! Those poor kids! At what point do you deserve consequences for your actions? You want respect? Carry yourself in a way that commands it!
I say she should run for President. She's what we need!!
You have a duty to care for your parents. Freely
It would be so much easier to just lock these people up and let them sober up in prison. If that is possible.
Can’t help those who won’t help themselves
Obviously if they want to change then prison can work, but so can treatment outside.
I bet this guy ends up in prison though
Love her
I'm gonna be 💯 , I wish I would've had a mom like Judge Boyd. There is no getting past or over her, yet she is fair and I believe she does care about the people that stand before her. I had a tough adult hood making bad decisions and dealing with my own addictions. And I had so much potential. I could've done way better. I did finally turn my life around after getting clean, getting married and having my children. So now I watch these videos and wish I could help these people not get in all this trouble. But they too will have to deal with their consequences and rebuild their lives.
That was so nice of you to say that! I’m praying u will continue on the right path
Respect & honour for Judge Boyd🙏👍
Im glad shes taking him down a notch. Dont go into Judge Boyds courtroom with that tude. Respect to you, your Honor!
Texas Judges… don’t EVEN think of crossing one of our Texas Judges. Judge Boyd is a wonderful person, and Judge Steven’s is another great Texas Judge. We have a saying here… Don’t Mess With Texas….. and we mean it. 😊
I wouldn't recommend back talking Judge Boyd. She don't play!
