Throttle linkage had broken or rather the spin had made a linkage work loose. Always be prepared for the unexpected! ABCD and R (runway in gliding range, ha). I fly competition aeros in the RV-8 and spin recovery is always to the vertical to draw a vertical line on an intended heading before recovery that is pulled with the speed requirement for the next figure in mind. - Not showing off, honest, just saying for the benefit of other viewers there are a lot of options and refinements available once one is beyond getting the thing out of the spin reliably. So I thought you were insane when I first watched your videos in the F-5E. I haven't flown it much since the Hornet, and probably none since the Tomcat released. Back then it just wouldn't depart.
