All I can say is WOW. I applaud all the dancers for their courage to withstand the stereotype thoughts of the masses on this disability. The Jive,Passe Doblios, are Hard to dances for 4 legs, muchless two. I wanted to venture into this type of performances 3 years ago here in Chattanooga,TN. I am now more encouraged in that pursuit. Thanks you guys. Byl Butler, director S.E.W.S.
This is amazing, not that they can do it -- of course they can. But they are all so gorgeous out there. Considering what I usually see on dance floors perhaps we need more people on wheels to give it some class.
You have all inspired me and made me cry. I can see the passion and the genuine true love you all have. I miss so much be able to dance. You have opened my eyes in a incredible hopeful inspirational way. Thank you so much for sharing this TH-cam Video.
This is an older video, but the skills remain timeless. In my opinion, couples #87 and #91 are dancing at a higher level than everyone else...better inclusive choreography, better demonstrations of partnership moves. BEAUTIFUL!
I came to this after watching a “What would you do?” video cause I was curious as to how you would dance in a wheelchair. And I can see it’s pretty much the same. The wheelchairs have wheels that stick outward a little which is what I’m guessing helps them with all the spinning and twirling. (I’m not in a wheelchair but if I was and tried spinning like that. I would fall flat on my face😋) These people are awesome great moves!
I was born 1982, my parents training for Oslo Open wheelchair competitions while i was lying in a shelf sleeping through ear deafening paso dobles and jives haha, they danced for over 30 years for Fristil Norway
Congratulations to those people who never give up!!!!! I adore everybody so much keep going you are just amazing..you have to have too much courage in this life so these people tell to us NEVER SAY NEVER and NEVER GIVE UP!! Love you everybody congratulations again and again

This is the end of humanity as it was. I used to dance too, and I cannot imagine why would the non-disabled dance with the disabled ones. Totally wrong and insane as it limits the "full-bodied" dancers.

Interesting...I cannot say WONDERFUL as I think dacing is about using the legs as well and not just the upper part of the body and to me the wheechair is not that "elegant" BUT the thing that make me more amazed it is the BAD style of men dress...orriBLEs! :-D
Ok I m happy you know everything of life and the cosmus...plus u know who I m so...compliments... But I prefer my ignorance that think that Ur kind of knowledge...so I guess U know whats mean to be on a wheelchair?! I m sorry if I hurt ur sensibiluty :-(
Sorry, your english is a little off and I don't quiet understand what you are trying to say. Why are you looking up wheelchair dancing if you do not find it elegant?
If u know spanish or italian or friulan I can use another idioma of these othewise I am not able to write a fluent and correct english as yours... By the way I just looked one video of this, that's it Like I saw one video of wheelchair tennis or paravolley..and it is quite boring and...not elegant...and I espress my idea cause I would like to share it...and I think that if U dont like my comments U are free to dont read...so as U maybe, I said maybe, U have understood Your comment was not that clever... Plus my last girlfriend was a professional cuban dancer so I know what I m talking about... By the way Sorry
+Marko Gospa , As my grandmother said, if you cant say anything good or constructive, then don't say it. It takes guts, training, and confidence to want to learn ballroom/latin and ever more when you don't have the same abilities as an "able bodied" person. Give it a try and see how easy it is!

Amazing! Good job guys, I love the sharp spin at 00:37. 👍

This video is so, so cool. Congratulations to all participants!
This is an older video, but the skills remain timeless. In my opinion, couples #87 and #91 are dancing at a higher level than everyone else...better inclusive choreography, better demonstrations of partnership moves. BEAUTIFUL!

These people are awesome great moves!
The camber on the wheels the angle of the wheels help the chair to stay stable and will help with quick spins hope that helps
