What a simple and awesome idea/invention! Absolutely simple and practical without so much clutter and mess in the tail-bed; which allows for other items to be placed in the tail-bed. I drive a Toyota Tacoma and it seems as if this is exactly what I've been searching for.
Although this video is dated a little, I'm curios if this would work with an E bike? If not is there something similar that attaches to the bed wall? Thanks
You are missing something basic in that the locking cable is threaded through the eye-bolts which secure the clamps to the bed rail. Our Trimax VersaCable is 3/8 in. thick but small enough to go through the tough Stainless Steel eyebolts as compared to cable-locks with loop ends which require a padlock! The eye-bolts of the clamps need several turns to remove from the rail. Also this might be a better sales point on our website. Thanks for you comments! Brent, Rec Rac
Hey RecRac, it may be time to update your video. The clamps look like they would come lose from vibrations during transport. Also looks like the bike frame would get scratches or small dents from the clamps. Clamps don't appear to be stable or safe for transport. Good idea though.
Dave, the model that did the shoot had a choice of wearing a bikini or a bike helmet and didn't know how to dress. Her husband is a Ford enthusiast and said "wear the helmet" in case the Chevy blew up. LOL
too bad you can't use this system with a truck equipped with a tonneau cover because the attachment rails are clamped to the bed rails already. Other wise it's a great idea.
I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...
Let me get this straight, a model show up unprepared for the part, you don’t fire her, you reward her by shooting the video, and paying her. What does this say about your product?
Dave, the model that is showing the RecRac had a choice of wearing a bikini or a bike helmet and didn't know how to dress for the part. Another reason is that her husband is a Ford truck enthusiast and told her she better wear the helmet in case the Chevy blew up.
Why is the "model" wearing a helmet to install the racks? She hasn't even started her ride yet! She's installing racks and mounting her bike to go TO the ride! LOL!!!
*I was expecting a lot of shortcuts to be taken at this price. I was wrong. Decent quality **Latest.Bike** raker . Easy on easy off.*
The Model had just been rollerblading and came as she was and had a bad hair day. We normally do not recommend helmets for installing our racks.

“When placing the bike on the rack you MUST wear a helmet at all times!!”
...and nowadays you need to have 3 masks on too! :(
Safe first!!
I like your name.

I think it's a great invention. Just a little more expensive than I was expecting when I visited the website. Nonetheless, great ingenuity.
Works just like it's supposed to 😊

if you used pay pal for this order you can submit a claim and get a full refund!!!
A 2x4 with a bolt-on fork mount works just as well, needs zero installation and costs wayyyyyy less.

cool device.
I guess it works if you don't care about your bikes getting damaged.
