I’m still making my way through the rule book, myself. It came in the mail last week. What I did do, however, was create an insert using cardboard to fit everything except the tokens (used a bead craft organizer). All the cards except character cards (large cards) fit with sleeves.

Awesome, thanks! I spotted one important thing that - I think - might be important for newer players: While in general it’s correct that you draw a loot for each monster killed, there are a few exceptions. One is the group of cave sickles that new players will be facing early. But they should in general always just read the monster’s AI cards :)

Good catch! Any combatants with the 'Swarm' tag don't give loot unless the entire group is wiped out. Just one of about 8,000 exceptions to be found in a game like this, and why it's always important to have the rules handy!

Thanks for the vidoe. Obviously it is a challenging endeavor with a game of this complexity. Nevertheless, I think when discussing movement, it is important to note that while you may move through an ally, doing so costs 2 movement points when exiting the space in which the ally resides.

Is this for the original rules or the 1.1 ruleset?

This video was based on the most up to date 1.1 ruleset at the time it was made - but Middara is a big complicated game, so some errata may have slipped through the cracks here or there. Hope this helps.
