This War of Mine. Arica, Ivano & Henrik Challenge Run - No Trading. Days 3-4

- With Arica and Henrik having small backpacks, we would normally rely on trading quite a bit to get up and running, especially using Henrik's ability to make cigarettes (for trade) at a greater pace than other characters. So we disallow trading to see how we do.

Love the Challenge!
I suspect we won't get a full set of good endings and will take a look at the end where the non-trading hurt us (or not, depending on where we end up).
just know there's some free to grab stuff for the bakery lol
when i feed my people, i feed them every 2 days. on the second day of "hungry" is when i do it, or more easily, on odd numbered days is when they feed and they never get to very hungry and never lose morale for it.
the child, i feed on the same day as the adults, giving them a full adult portion, which guarantees the child will always be "well fed" on the days that we eat and therefore gets a morale boost for it.
obviousy, this is heavy on the food usage, but i have not run out on my last 3 playthroughs. the game gives enough food, even with 4 surviors.
although, doing a no trade run could cause problems, so then yeah, you might have to feed the child less.
I ended up on that same schedule once I had enough food (every two days - the kid getting well fed on feeding days etc). Only issue at the start is having enough food to get to that feeding schedule, which tricky without trading.
Hey mate quick question. Have you ever tried to give weapon to npc in bakery? Maybe there would be a hidden story if he kills bandits.
Game link please?
its the vanilla game, trading isn't disabled, I just don't trade when the option presents itself (if that's what you mean, if not, apologies for misunderstanding)
@@kagang8959 I understand, thank you.
