Beautiful choices! I would also include a lot of candles! Pixar talked about how one of the biggest things they worked on was the lighting in the film (from all the windows, candles, etc. involved) so I think that would be a cool think to incorporate :)

It’s difficult to make a “theme” when it’s so deeply rooted in REAL culture, but I also don’t want to shy away from it, because I receive some beautiful messages from followers (this one for example, I had an amazing email from a Mexican couple that wants to actually do this for their wedding) and it connects with them. But it is still delicate and I’m always trying to decide how to do it best, and also within UNDER a minute haha!
i think one that would be really pretty is a princess and the frog inspired wedding. Since the movie includes a wedding you could have lots of inspiration. Or my favorite move tangled would also be perfect for a colorful and fun wedding. They could have chalk and illustrate their life or how they met. it could be really unique
Guests come in full face sugar skull makeup. Makes it easier to identify the couple and then add black lights to the reception to make everyone have that fun glow. A cute thing would be if the couple designed each others face paint in secret and revealed at the reception. Also you HAVE to have a mariachi band and an offerenda for family that isn’t alive to enjoy the wedding. A beautiful ceremony since it’s literally the theme.
Oh my God. I almost did this because I wanted my wedding on November 2 and yes, I’m Mexican. Also, it’s so close to what I’m going off of now as a Talavera wedding is more stylish but love love love the tradition I am so excited!!!
