Wow, so recent. And I'm thinking they all died years ago, just watching their videos now.
Many more have also just passed on, but still some are alive.
The persistence of life and its prosperity, is the greatest vengeance of all.

Oh looks like her whole family survived they didn’t kill her whole family. Brothers and sisters survived this is exactly same what happenned to non Jewish families as well . We also had one child tortured and killed in concentration camp non German . 15 years old and one cousin same age.

These are videos that should be played in school. It is so important to learn as many stories as possible to understand the horrors and the will of survival that human beings have in hard times. It would be amazing if the school curriculum wanted to educate young people about the disasters that come from power corruption but also to remember the stories of people their age going through such terrible events. I think this would invoke a better understanding of humanity and a want to change things in a step towards equality.

I too believe that the holocaust should be taught in school because children and young people need to know and understand the holocaust. Otherwise, there is the danger of forgetting and or saying it didn’t happen.

Tendentious questions. This lady initially said that she had friends among the gentile population, and the interviewer only asked about hostile people, and nothing about friends.

Yes. This is unfortunate. I'm not sure why they do that. I know they wanted to record the wrongs that were done to the Jewish people but also they ask about other things like how they lived as children etc. I have seen a lot of these though and some interviewers do ask about friends etc

I’ve listened to many of these stories where people from Poland wished they’d gone to Siberia. It’s wonderful to hear this story of someone who did go, and the different suffering of people who went east. May her memory be a blessing.

As much as I want to listen to this beautiful lady testimony, I simply can't, unfortunately. Due to the interviewer. I really wished that before the interviewer conducts testimony. Someone would let the interviewer know how important the survivor is. They are to be treated with the most respect and compassion. Remember they are the victim. They experience something that was made to kill them in the worst way possible. For the survivors to not only survive such dark, hateful, terrifying, violent times. Is a miracle. And for the victims to be nice enough to take the time to relieve such suffering and horrors, and tell us their first hand testimony is incredible! Such strong and brave women and men. We should listen with are ears and try to imagine going threw such horrors. No interrupting. No asking questions tell afterwards. Only if the survivor agrees. I can imagine that after reliving this dark, evil, time she must be emotionally drained. So please respect and treat survivors with the upmost respect and most loving compassion ❤️

You may feel that way, I'm proud of what we helped achieved. Don't be an apologist for me. What the Nazi regime did was horrific, blame them not us.

Not too much of a surprise. It happened every so often when things were desperate. And let's be honest, if you have nothing to eat, and I mean nothing, every piece of edible meat looks tasty.
It's easy to say "I would never... under nor circumstances..." if you are well fed or less well fed and still know some means to get sustenance, legal or illegal, before having to consider to feed on a fellow human being.
