The F-15's are still a superior fighter aircraft and it don't coast that much to keep it up, and why they are still flying. The F-22 Raptor is superior primarily due to it being invisible on radar since the F-15's can do the same thing that the F-22 does, but have to avoid radar since they are detected by radar unless they are flying low under the radar.
