Love your videos Stephen , havnt been to Blackpool for about 8 yrs . I’m disabled now and where we used to stay has gone now. So many changes now I see but love it. I did want to move there a few yrs ago. Wish I could go back now . Keep the videos going goodnight x

They could have given You Stephen a much Generous Piece of Haddock with Your Huge Portion of Golden Brown Chips. They, should have let You, Help yourself to Salt and Vinegar. Cor blimey where did you put it all, The only trouble with freshly cooked anything in batter the steam softens the batter before you reach the car park years ago when we were younger it was left in the warmer for ages so rock hard and fat drained but by the time you got halfway down the staggering road it was just right hic hic, I used to go to a chinese chippy years ago and I'm not saying they were tight but they gave you one shake of the salt and wait for it they used a spray bottle for the vinegar so most of it evaporated before it hit the hot food,
Looks absolutely delicious, I’m biased for any Fish and Chips made in the UK😂❤😂. Actually made my mouth water!😂😂 Wonderful video and love the peaceful atmosphere of Staining. Beautiful day and thanks for sharing. The best F&C always came in rolled newspaper!😂❤😂
Hi Stephen, there's a Seniors branch now in Preston on Blackpool Road,not too far from where I live..used to be West End chippy,which was there for many years and had a very good reputation..only tried it a couple of times since it's changed over to Seniors, but I must say it's very good even though the price of fish and chips has risen quite steeply in recent years..I would highly recommend it..
@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool yes indeed it is..there is also one on Plungington Road called Noblets, used to be the Happy Haddock for many years..they also do a smaller fish and chips called a Lite Bite box , aimed more at pensioners or people with smaller appetites.

It was great when Mr & Mrs Senior actually owned it and served in there, as a kid my little friend and i would go in for a 3p portion of pickled onions served in a small white bag, happy days.

I remember going to haggerston Castle when I was a kid, chips were 30p, normal price was 5p. I think that's when I realized how to shop properly. It's amazing you can make a video eating 😮 😂.
Occasionally, after a day in Blackpool, my wife and I will drive to Normoss for fish & chips in Seniors restaurant, then driving to the M55 via Staining. A pleasant drive and a great chippy!
I was just recently at Blackpool & must say i could not get moved on sea front, but i think they charge to much for sea life,, wax works, & the fish & chips was not as that good as olden days with smaller family run business with bread & butter included & the quality of the batter so nicer,, but i guss there will be a good old,, ENGLISH FISH SHOP SOME WHERE, BUT TAXI DRIVER COULD NOT POINT ME IN A DIRECTION TO FIND A FISH SHOP, BUT I WILL FIND THIS, LOVED SHOPPING ON THE SEA FRONT WALKING AMONG CROWDED PEOPLE, LIKE THE OLD BLACKPOOL, ITS GOOD PEOPLE are returning here,, loved shopping in the tradition old sea front gift shops, WITH THE OLD CLASS OF STAFF from the local area,, BEHIND THE COUNTER,as you know they were very appreciated when you purchased items, & service with a smile & even time for there customers with a little conversation, as this is sadly missed in the modern generation, just nice to have seen a little of the olden days, With the old trams still doing there journeys 🚎🚞🌺🙂

I don't have salt or vinegar on my fish and chips recon it spoils the taste of them. Too much salt spoils anything Stephen, surprised that they didn't let you put your own on. Had a Large Cod & Chips to take away today at my local chip shop could not believe the price Large Cod £14.95 & large chips £4.95 that's £19.90 I know its in London but hell its expensive. That what you got was just as good at half the price.

Quality over quantity every time for me. F&C portions seem to have ballooned in recent years they never used to be mega size.
