    We were on our way from South Dakota to grand forks today we took a detour found your store bought some cheese milk yogurt and 3 kinds of ice cream all excellent also got to meet your brother in law told him we watch all of your vids then went over and took a bunch of pictures of your place

    Hey can you describe training for your staff? And the process of keeping everyone on the same page on that size of the farm your family has. I think that would be interesting for people to understand.

      I could try to cover that in a video. Depending on the experience of a new employee, they would spend 2 to 4 weeks working together with a long time employee to learn the job. Keeping everyone on the same page all the time is probably one of the biggest challenges. I try to make sure everyone understands why it's important to follow procedures and how important it is to the end goal of producing high quality milk. It helps a lot that the majority of our employees have been with us for more than 5 years and help guide newer employees.

      Jan, average vaccuum at the milk unit is 12.2 inHg, I think that's 41.3 kpa if the conversion I used is correct.
