Got the laserdisc / dvd and Blu Ray sat here… They’re plonked in my collection of Robert Rodriguez movies which are right next to the Tarantino collection. Not sure why I forgot to pick that one out 🤷🏼♂️
@ there are quite a few films shown in this video that Tarantino didn’t direct. It’s a Tarantino collection in general. Dusk til Dawn stars QT and he also wrote the screenplay for it.
Love the videos, love the channel. You put so much more effort into your videos than other channels and it really shows. This isn't a criticism in anyway but it seems so insane to me to pay 40 quid for a movie in this day and age lol it's probably because I only have dvds and I know the quality will be so much better but it's never bothered me watching dvds
@@findlay1arches it is absolutely insane. I have a real struggle with collecting. Find myself being very impulsive and get some bad FOMO with some titles. I know I’ve compared it before but it’s like an addiction for me. I feel like I need / want the biggest edition of certain movies and this falls into that. I have started to slow it down from what I used to be like but every now and again it kinda sucks me back in and a go a little crazy with it. I’ll still pick up DVDs from time to time but I do appreciate the remasters that Blu Ray offer for some movies. Blu Ray seems to be my go to format but I am getting swayed into some 4k collecting a little more now.

@@theknight8668 welcome back my man ! For collecting, I do pick up some tv show box sets but a lot less than I used to. I tend to find that I don’t go back to them as regularly as movies so tend to hold off picking them up until I’m ready to watch or for a revisit. There’s a lot I’ve had over the years that have been traded in because they very rarely get used. It’s a far bigger commitment to jump back into a show than catch a movie
I’ve never owned this movie. First time I watched it was on Sky Tv. One I have overlooked in my movie collecting . May have to order the 4k looks like a nice 4k set 👌👌

Do you ever buy the foreign versions of 4K UHD releases, i see many people on boutique blu-ray forums doing this but i am a bit put of as i like to get english cover art / writeups. I would imagine the films also default to other languages on playback as well which would be a small annoyance to change on startup (1st world problem).
@@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 I haven’t done so far. Not for 4k anyway. I’ve done it for Blu ray but generally it’s been for things unreleased where I am. If it’s a mainstream title I think it would have to be content or packaging that I’d order an import for. Not just any old standard release.
Not anymore. Just kept a few discs for the artwork that I really like. Have a special tub for them so they’re out of the way. Couple of them I do plan to properly mount and use as a display piece

Some of them are getting old enough not to be relevant to a newer audience. It pains me at times but I have to accept it… And just hope that some do take a chance and try to watch some of my older favourites. So… it May or may not be your kinda thing but I fully recommend giving Pulp Fiction a chance. And if you enjoy it, perhaps delve into some of Tarantinos other movies if you haven’t seen any of them.

My reason for buying it was that I wanted it to stick out within my Tarantino collection, with his other releases getting new editions I didn’t want pulp fiction to be… overshadowed. I wanted the big box for the collection. Signs and Sixth Sense, I’m honestly not that interested in upgrading. Not as much of a fan of those movies.
I have to admit, I'm jealous of that collection.

As much as i love Pulp Fiction I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for the 30th Anniversary because I already own it on 4K

Phill me a collector but you have a lot of double dips, i do not own Jckie Brown so when it comes to 4k it will be my only copy

£40 is way too much...i'll keep my old 2 disc special edition DVD upscaled with Darbee Processor on my LG 42"HD tv..
