Nice idea...but I have a couple of queries:
1. How is the wear on the chain rollers and sprocket teeth? Any comparisons for with and without this tensioner?
2. I would suggest to get one more piece welded on to the swing arm. Mounting it at one point does not make it fully constrained. It can still rotate about its pivot which can do enough harm to the drive line. Mount it with two bolts atleast. That will completely constrain all degrees of freedom.

The small rubber will rotate at excessive high rpm at high speed of bike will generate heat and it could melt.

I have Apache 160 RTR.....& chain loose is very common problem in my bike. So which one (tensioner)is compatible with that.
Dude if we ride a sports tourere bike the chain generally wears out at 20k km. And we should change the chain with sprockets after that. Tightening the chain at regular service intervals is sufficient and lubing it after every 400km with motul lube and overhauling it at 2000km is just too good. Creating unnecessary tension on will make it wear out faster.
I have used a similar product on my ns200... It loosen the chai even more... So I suggest you to remove it or else the chain will loosen it's tension completely. Thank you

As i saw ur chain tightning point which is reached to maximum and also ur chain is getting loose frequenty which mean ur chain or sprocket worn out..do a chain strecth test...if u see gap between chain and sprocket than its time to change chain and sprocket..

Jhampa66 since you are doing your engineering.... You must be aware this setup is not practical...
You have a single pivot point, which would rotate around its fulcrum.... We need atleast two fixed point for the tensioner housing to be rigid enough....

Nice bhai mere pulsar 180 hai 2009 model us ka engine sizge ho gaya tha fir maine pura engine ke parts change karve but fir two problem hai neutral nhi dalta kafi kisis ke Baad hi padta hai and maine gear shvade bhi change karvaya hai second problem bike ka rpm 6000 se upar nhi jati pickup yeah problem kabhi ati hai
