Bro perfect video for my problem i was tired of searching for this Thank you, when we take objects to unreal changing material of one object changes material in all objects in scene any solution ?
great tut Thanks bro! but i have a problem when you search usd in your plugin you got 3 usd plugin but i have 2 usd plugin(usd importer and usd multi-user) i havent chaos caching usd plugin and when i enable this 2 plugin i cant see usd option in window panel why ?! can you help me please ?!
Thank you so much. I imported the USD file into Unreal, and the first time, my mesh appeared without the curve modifier. After applying the modifier in Blender and re-importing it into Unreal, nothing showed up. Could you please help me figure out how to fix this? Thank you.
Does mean that you can create shaders and materials in Blender and they will export to UE exactly? Or do you still have to create shaders and materials in UE5 as well?
Actually there is an option to view the Sequencer animation without importing the USD. I mean you can also change animations in blender and just reload the file and view the animation in UE. You are smart you can figure that out!!
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 Thank you. I use Blender 4.1 and it does not separate objects. 3.x versions does. Probably this is a bug. But your video is a new world to me, thank you.
The scene crashed for me after I ‘imported’ my USD file using the Actin button. After that I can't open the scene anymore, but the crash doesn't come immediately but at some point. Do you have any tips?
Yes, of course. None of that will transfer. Blender has its own nodes and Unreal has its own nodes, they don't get translated. Overall, materials is something you will have to set up again. Only thing that gets transfered is UV, so scale your UVs, not mapping nodes. You will most likely have to hook up the textures again and if you tweaked them in any way in Blender, you will have to bake them, which takes time and is tedious. This unfortunately is not a flawless connection.
Unreal usd importer is still beta 😂. Camera animation import fails . Short Unreal sucks for VFX professional workflow. Fbx doesn’t work USD doesn’t work. It sucks period
USD format still beta, no smoother faces. FBX goes very very good. You need to bake everything and export as smooth faces with material groups. And really powerfull system to add materiales in order. But, first ... You need to be organized.
@@nimitverma3460 good assuming the knowledge of othets. You don't even know that the filmback don't match even if the you put the numbers right, right? Go practice first before Commenting
Finally! someone was able to give me exactly what im looking for in the simplest form

Thank you very much, I didn't know how to transfer characters from Blender to Unreal. Now it seems easy
Gosh! At last a proper connect from blender to Unreal!
Thank you for this tutorial! It was easy to follow and even easier to do!!
Thank you :) , to make it even faster I recommend everyone to assign a shortcut to export the usd file
Thank You So Much Bro ❤
Thanks need more unique tutorials❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊

No idea bro
disconnect the parent materials of those meshes by changing their parents
omg amazing bro thanks
Thanks so much for this i have just used this today. Can i use this to import weapons for my character as the fbx distorts my animation
Yes
Hello, thanks for the explanation. Could you explain the difference between usdc & fbx?
very nice
does it work with instanced meshes that is done by geo node?
great tut Thanks bro! but i have a problem when you search usd in your plugin you got 3 usd plugin but i have 2 usd plugin(usd importer and usd multi-user) i havent chaos caching usd plugin

Enable that 2 only it will work
Is it possible to make the collison mesh in blender and imported this way too for every obj you have on the USD file?
I think you can do that I never try that
I can't seem to select my objects individually, any ideas why?
No
Just don't work for collision can you come up with something same using gltf
Can this export alembic data or stimulations??
Thank you so much. I imported the USD file into Unreal, and the first time, my mesh appeared without the curve modifier. After applying the modifier in Blender and re-importing it into Unreal, nothing showed up. Could you please help me figure out how to fix this? Thank you.
Try to reload the usd file properly or just do the import process from start again maybe it will fix the issue
Can we also do opposite one : unreal to blender?
I will try
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56that's what I'd like to know as well. I'd like to take UE assets and bring them into Blender with their materials etc.
Just export unreal engine 5 assets into glb format
Does mean that you can create shaders and materials in Blender and they will export to UE exactly? Or do you still have to create shaders and materials in UE5 as well?
I bake texture in blender
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 What about the shaders? Can they be exported to UE5?
It will be baked into texture like noise texture nose etc in pbr maps
Do skeletal meshes work? I know that complex materials wont but nut sure about bones
Just bake work material and than export
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 I know. Does it work with bones?
I never try that may be it works

great video! can you take care of me? i have a problem exporting the 3d in usdz, but it does not export the movements of the animated object.
Check the animation box while exporting
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 I did it and nothing
Bake your animation keyframe and than export
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 bake the frames, but the usdz is still not animated. Thanks for your reply
You can also use alembic if it is having same issue it means you are not exporting your animation properly
This is fantastic. My only problem is that is imports all objects as one and I have no idea how to separate them.
It will be seperated automatically
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 Thank you. I use Blender 4.1 and it does not separate objects. 3.x versions does. Probably this is a bug. But your video is a new world to me, thank you.
Did you manage to sort this? I'm on version 4.3 and I'm having the same issue where everything is grouped together.
@@drewkirk7191 No, unfortunately.
@@CsokaErno It's tricky to know if it's a Blender issue or a UE issue. Let me know if you manage to sort it :)
как я могу несколько раз разные юсд импортировать?
wow
it is importing everything as an actor I'm new on UE how can I change the class to Static mesh? >By the way thank you for the video!
Just search on youtube how to convert actor into static mesh
yes it worked, ab mai un objects ko properly import karna chata hu jayse pura control unreal me aa jaye.
I tried this workflow in 5.2 and had lots of crashes. Has the stability improved?
Yes in my pc it works fine

All the files I send are intertwined and their places get mixed up. What can I do?
Would be great to have a two way connection like Houdini.
May be they will give some addon for that
Does this also work for game assets?
Yes
Can we do blender and cascadaur
Yes there is addon
@@EVERYTHINGISCGI56 Cascadeur Bridge is the name.
If there is complex shader node or modifier in objects. can It be a problem?

I don't know bro
