Welcome to Trains 5.9!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the video.
I generally film trains on the Union Pacific / BNSF Joint Line in Colorado, but I also travel farther south to catch trains on the BNSF Southern Transcon in Texas and Arizona, as well as the Union Pacific Sunset Route.
Thanks again!
nice vid... not surprised to see that mega MT hopper train either... wouldn't doubt if they're already running mega coal loads as well... stich two coal loads going in the general same direction and cut out as many extra pool crews in the process... saving money is the name of the game nowadays
Thanks! Haven’t seen a mega load since the day they broke a couple of knuckles trying to make it over Palmer Lake but the empties still come through like that. You’re right, the money part is a huge issue these days too… seems like every company is trying to cut as many corners as possible!

busted knuckles on a mega coal load???... and with DPUs and still got busted knuckles... wow what the heck???
@@25mfd I know! I don’t know the specifics of it, but I have a video on my channel with one of the mega loads they ran awhile back, and I heard after the fact that they had broken a couple of knuckles, definitely haven’t seen one since then. It had front, mid, and rear units!
