    That engine looks solid internally. It will be a nice upgrade for the truck once you've got it set up.

    I wouldn’t mind an unedited long form video. It’s good to keep on in background and I learn a little more.

    Are parts hard to find for VW engines?

      Surprisingly no, this model engine was made from 1975-1992 and some of the parts were used up to 2000. It is refreshing to be able to be able to find parts easily- When I did the Yugo, parts were way harder to find.

      No, sadly nearly all have gone to the crusher. The good news is there is a fellow vintage air and water cooled guy that lives about 30 minutes from me and we sometimes swap cars and parts. Nice guy too!
