- 'From Eggs to Chicks'
After a long time apart, we have a lot to catch up on in Part 2. Starting with collecting, washing and sorting eggs, Matt then goes to zero in his .17HMR and we go to the incubator to see how to turn eggs into chicks. Finally Dave goes out on his rounds with his .243.
Enjoy!

Excellent, excellent, excellent. This is the sort of content that SHOULD be on Countryfile!!! Well done, good work best of luck to you for the coming season.
Unfortunately that ain't gonna happen anytime soon with people like Chris Packham deciding what not only the BBC should show but what the Country wants....Even though this is a large portion of what the country side is all about!!
Great to get to see the what goes into gamekeeping that's a good days work. Thanks to all involved.
This was unreal well done can't wait for part 3
Great video. Fascinating content and some great characters. I can see this pair in their own series. I hope you continue to follow their season.
Cracking video as always. I still miss doing all of this with my grandad.
Excellent film tgs . Look forward to your next one 👍
Absolutely love this series. Very interesting to see how game is reared and how sporting properties are managed in the uk.
Brilliant and uplifting video looking forward to more 👍👍👍
Awesome video Johnny. Thanks.
What bypod is the young lad using at the beginning of the video with the grip ?
I do love that shoot good birds and a good day beating
Gamekeeping....a very underrated and under paid job.....More of a lifestyle choice.....one, which to be honest I wish I had made 30 years ago. Hat's off to you fellas. I know it's hard work and long hours....but it's a damn site better than an office!!!
Dude I saw your video and I liked it very much. I like these birds differently. Can you give me 10 to 20 small baby birds of this species as a gift? I live in Bangladesh
Well done 👍
First
Been flat out all through lockdown we are Pretty much in the same position
Who else thought Ron Spomer was coming on when that music started at the beginning of the video?
Eggs have a natural protective coating...
I know I’m sticking my head above the parapet, but here goes. These guys look like responsible gamekeepers, but any gamekeeper that shoots a Hen Harrier deserves the same, there simply aren’t enough of them to be a problem.
So are feral cats a problem in England?
this is so good
