The song before this, is the real reason! He got her drunk, took her to Vegas, she won that pretty supped up drive for him! He didn't even buy that truck! The name of the song is Last Name!!!
In the prequel video *Last Name* they are married in Las Vegas and won the truck so it belongs to them both. It is not illegal to destroy your own property unless there is an attempt to commit fraud on the insurance claim.
Couple of things about American culture. One, boys are taught if you screw up you take your licks. Two, running to anybody to hide behind them when you were at fault is definitely hated. Both these things come into play here. He calls the cops here and his friends are going to have no mercy. Don't do the crime if you're not ready for the punishment.
In America, this would be super rare. She’s singing about what she fantasized doing, but would never do. If someone did do this, and it was reported, she’d have to pay for it all to be fixed, would be arrested and probably serve at least a few years in jail/prison, depending on their criminal history. He’d get a protective order against her and she wouldn’t be allowed to contact him or get within a certain distance of him. Country singers in the US sing about extremes and how they feel, not necessarily what they are really doing.
Us chicks are crazy when we feel wronged, and will target what we perceive as his most precious ….might go to jail, but he will definitely know how I feel 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
A couple things you should know. First, there was a scary movie called Carrie (same as her name) and the girl was ridiculed, her boyfriend killed and her mom was a religious fanatic that tortured her. Second, her secret ... she was telekinetic and could do horrible things to things and people ... and DID so in the end of the movie. She was driven to it. So, in this music video, the things being thrown around, the lights exploding, etc. were a nod to that kind of anger. However, no, it is NOT common in America to do this, even though it DOES happen. However, the song in more about how one feels when betrayed (i.e. cheated on) and what one could IMAGINE doing in their mind ... not reality though. Certainly, if you now ANYTHING about Carrie Underwood, she's no where NEAR that kind of person. BTW, the movie Carrie (1976) was such a popular movie that a sequel was made in 2013. Finally, American movie .. most of the time, are pure imagination, and each new era trying to "Out Wow" the previous one, so I wouldn't believe pretty much anything you see in the movies, unless they were based on a true story, and even those are embellished, so I wouldn't believe that much of that being "REAL Americana".
You guys need to listen to peso pluma!! He’s the #1 mexican artist right now and his song ella baila sola is one of the most listened to songs this year
