Gator hunting is some of the most fun hunting I’ve ever done. 2 years ago me and a friend reeled in and shot a 12’3” gator. We used a big ass surf rod with 150 pound test braid and a treble hook and ended up snagging it 40 yards out. The fight lasted 2.5 hours. That beast was pulling drag like crazy.
Halfway through. I promise I won’t skip to the end, really, I won’t! 👀 (oh yeah, thanks for the awesome videos!!)

The ability these guys have to see these alligators in the pitch black, through trees and brush, while moving is absolutely insane. It's an incredible talent that I imagine takes YEARS to learn. It's so cool.
You use a flashlight and their eyes light up and you can tell how big they are how far their eyes are apart.

Would love to see more hunts, be it alligator or deer or dove and quail. Also id love to know how your jon boat is coming???? Id honestly really enjoy all the googans to do a jon boat to bass boat challenge. U all start with the same jon boat, main motor and trolling motor, but the rest is up to u guys. Do it over 6 mths and u can only have 1 person help u build it. Then do a fishing challenge, 1st place gets their pick of all the boats then 2nd place picks and so on. That way when u do meet an greets or do a public fishing tourney u can give them away or keep them for other videos or just use them and next googan week redo the tourney and keep switching off.
