I love the box and the idea behind it, but I agree that look cheap and fragile. The box itself is the cover and the cover alredy starts the comic (page -9) like you say. I love this concept. The color on the side of the pages forms a continuity for the drawing of the box as well. Unfortunately Viz Media want to save money on the box and delivery a not-so-great looking cardbox.
Yo my dude I have two recommendations for you but they are films not manga. First thing you need to check out is the movie, antichrist by Lars von trier (the criterion edition is super nice). Second is, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, there is a box set by arrow video coming soon called solid metal nightmares: the films of shinya tsyukamoto. They are some of the darkest films you’ll watch. Not for the faint of heart.
@@SequentialConsequence haha i was expecting you'd mention it in the video. Well since we are getting ping pong next month,there are still chances that they may reprint it in the future considering we are getting two Matsumoto titles in not even a succession of an year.
