I had the Nummy-est turn in Cube today. I ended turn 8 with an 0/3 Crab, Double Vision, Shark Typhoon, Hauken's Insight, a Flipped Treasure Cove and a bunch of mana sources open. My Scholar of the lost Trove was Exiled by opponents Elite spellbinder, so it costs 9 mana. On my opponents turn 9 I played Sublime Epiphany, bouncing my opponents Sun Titan and countering the triggered ability from the attacking Sun Titan. I also copy my Crab, draw a card and make a 6/6 shark with Typhoon. Then the Epiphany is copied by the Double Vision, bouncing opponents Elite Spellbinder, copying my freshly made 6/6 shark and drawing another card. On my 9th turn, Hauken's Insight exiles my Magma Opus. I draw Young Pyromancer for the turn and play it. Then I cast Scholar of the Lost Trove, casting Sublime Epiphany from graveyard for free. Epiphany gets copied with Double Vision, but it also creates a new Scholar of the lost Trove and a 3rd Scholar with the copy of Epiphany. The copied Scholars let me cast Hard Evidence and Purphorus's Intervention for free. To make it all better, I draw my Mizzix's Mastery among the newly drawn cards. I Play Magma Opus for free of Hauken's Insight and then cast it again with Mizzix's Mastery. It is probably hard to follow, but I ended up with 3 0/3 crabs, 7 different sharks, 1 Young Pyromancer, 3 scholars of the lost Trove, 5 1/1's from Young Pyromancer, a 0/1 Elemental from Intervention and a 4/4 from Opus. The 2nd 4/4 never hit the battlefield because opponent gave up. He still let me do almost everything though, so props to my opponent! I only wish there was a replay option on Arena.
Watching all the mirror matches felt like watching a standard that had been completely solved. Lame to not see so little variety. Also comes across as some ironic twist with viewers complaining about Kenji's affinity for izzet/grixis stuff in cube and him only getting matched against that now, too.
The people complaining about red/blue drafts probably haven't actually tried to draft cube. It is not like you can just choose to not play what is open.
That find the line to find exatsies reminds me why Nummot is the golden god.
Not only finding the line, but at ludicrous speed.
My favorite card in the cube so far has been Genesis Ultimatum, play 5 cards off top of library in this cube is *chef's kiss*

Is there any better feeling than re-casting a huge expensive instant from the graveyard, for free?
recasting 3 clone spells and Then recast a huge expensive instant? That has been my plan A this cube
Looks like opponents are all on the UR Nummy strat

They have to fix match making. You shouldn't face mirror matches 75%+ of the time. It's so lame
Wizards get your sh*t together
Not recording too many cube videos?! 😡
