been really enjoying the cube videos and have taken some notes for myself. I'm finding a lot of success with base Temur five color, prioritizing fixing fairly highly.
Fuck people complaining about all the Blue/Red drafts. This man has so much fuckin game knowledge that you can still pull 3-5 lessons from a single video even if it's the fifth Izzet draft in the week. This man's commentary has gotta be top 10 in all of MTG. He just understands the game.
Finishing the draft by casting 3 Magma Opus. Beautiful finish for a beautiful deck. Last night I Gearhulk'd a Magma Opus and then Lutri'd for a 2nd copy, but now I see that was just kids stuff next to casting it with Amulet + Mirari Conjecture.
Feels like you're undervaluing the G splash in UR. Emergent Sequence, Rashmi, Growth Spiral, Escape to the Wilds, ... There are lots of good UG and RG cards that feel right at home in a UR control shell!
in the morning the videos are always vods of twitch - I went on a huge UR bender (given it was consistently winning) so it isn't that ONLY the UR videos are getting uploaded, more that UR is the ONLY deck -_-
Hey everyone I have a question. If I have Teferi master of time and an opponent plays a creature with a relevant etb trigger. Can I in response phase that creature out to deny the etb trigger?
I ask because earlier I won a game where my opponent had one card in hand and it was a sigardian evangel with a bunch of mana. Ended up playing 5 of them. Thankfully I had a ribbons in my graveyard. I would’ve won regardless. But it had me wondering. Cause this could have been a very relevant thing to know in this future . could swing a game.
Hi, the etb is already on the stack and will happen regardless of you phasing out or otherwise removing that creature. If it is an etb that needs a target and by removing the only legal target in response you could let the etb fizzle but otherwise the etb is not affected
It's weird they put so many white black and green cards in an Izzet cube
Lol!!

Id watch a cube spells draft every day. Don’t care about variety.

I don’t know what everyone is talking about. Clearly, Kenji is playing monowhite and splashing red and blue. 😉

(and nobody else ever picks those cards)

@@NumotTheNummyYT it's all good- you clearly have a style that works for you. Probably other archetypes are just too hard...

Thank you. I was just wondering cause phasing weird compared to other mechanic. And no it was for a brain maggot.
I think
Chicken dinners continue to roll out.
now he's gonna take Vizier of Tumbling Sands as a mana rock just so there's the 1% chance he can untap and use Amulet twice
UR Deck grind in the comments is my life now.
Fun 😋
P A MVP ^^
Is this format just so unbalanced that there’s only one viable deck, or is it just that this guy can only play one deck well?
UR again? Meh I'll skip this one :/
Sorry 😐
