Aka-Bo is quite documented and hopefully, future Great Andamanese who'll identify as Bo would learn the language from the records. Unfortunately, there are less than a hundred Great Andamanese today compared to their numbers (2,000-6,600) from last century.

@@rvat2003the 10 old tribal subgroups of Great Adamanese don’t exist anymore, most of younger ones are just Great Andamanese now. Language wise the last speaker of Cari language died in 2021, so the language family is extinct too. A few senior elders speak a mixed Jeru-based creole while the youth speaks Hindi creole now. So I guess its the end for the tribe.

It was not only entertaining, but also super insightful, came to know about some languages for the first time, I knew about Bo but heard it for the first time. Being a person belonging to Tripura, I have guessed 4 of our regional languages right.
LASTLY, Thanks a million for adding the Sylheti song, it is my mother tongue. It is spoken primarily by people from North Tripura. I am from Dhalai, where they don't speak Sylheti much. In fact, people make fun of this beautiful dialect sometimes. It is quite disheartening that my mum doesn't let me speak Sylheti outside, as people might make fun of my dialect. But today I have felt super proud for being a Sylheti speaker. As my father's ancestors were from Dhaka, I usually speak their Bengali accent. But in my heart, I have the greatest place for my mum's dialect.

I would like to thank ❤️ #India_in_Pixels_by_Ashris from the bottom of my heart for mentioning Bhumij language in the option, it would have been better if there was a Bhumij song also. I am glad to see that people like you in the country know about the language called Bhumij. ❤️
I humbly request you to make videos on our sweet Bhumij, Santhali, Ho and Mundari languages. ❤️

I would love it if you do a video on the languages of Assam. There are absolute gems for you to discover. Assamese, for instance, has one of the largest corpus of literature among Indian languages, including, but not limited to the Buranjis (historical chronicles of the Ahoms). The Shan tribes of upper Assam have preserved their language to such an extent that they could communicate with a Thai princess without any translators. The Sylheti tongue features tones, a relatively uncommon feature for Indo-Aryan languages. The American missionaries who saved the Assamese language, the Tibeto-Burman influences on Assamese and Sylheti, the Bhasha Andolon of the Barak Valley, the evolution of creole languages like Haflong Hindi, NEFAmese, Nagamese and Assam Sadri spoken by the Tea Tribes are all stories waiting to be discovered. I am sure you will be able to justice to them.

    12 out of 15 Correct
1 turned out correct out of 2 choices Had in my mind.
    1. Tulu ✅ (I could guess right because I stay in Mumbai and interacted with lot of Shetty poeple)
    2. Sylheti ✅ (Got right after stressing lot on options and also I knew Bangla and it was sounding different on song)
    3. Garhwali ✅ (Got right because I can somehow differentiate all North Indian Languages)
    4. Maithili ✅ (Got right because my 2 friends were from Bihar who spoke Maithili and it somehow sounded similar in the song which my friends spoke)
    5. Konkani ✅ (Got right obviously because it's my mother tongue)
    6. Nagamese ✅ (I got right because of stressing and analyzing option and also in Goa few Northeast Indians came who were from Nagaland and also played football with them)
    7. Axomiya ✅ (Because I recently started listening to Assamese song as well as my friends wife speak Axomiya and also sing Assamese songs)
    8. Gondi ✅ (Got correct because I heard Gondwana word in the song so should be Gondi I assumed and turned out to be right)
    9. Haryanvi ✅ (Though it was difficult to guess at first glance from sasura and sagre baal words I was able to guess)
    10. Santhali ✅ (This time I got right by just making 2nd attempt to mark as Santhali)
    11. Baduga ❎ (Got wrong and Irula ✅ was the right one. I didn't know the name of language but I knew that they spoke mixture of Kannada and Tamil. I guessed Baduga because scenery was of nilgiri hills so it could be like that.)
    12. Tangsa❎ or Galo✅ (so Galo came right and A and C options seems to be some Korean thing so I eliminated those options in my mind)
    13. Burushaski ✅ (Got right after stressing on options)
    14. ISL ✅ (Got right because It was sign language and should be Indian)
    15. Nicobarese ❎ (Got wrong and it was Bo)

I got 12 right (except Irula, Bo and ISL). To be honest your supporting videos as well as multi-choice options give a lot of hint at the language else one can miss much more ---> In Gondi video, they clearly mention "Bastar", in Nagamese, they clearly mention "Naga" (else it sounds similar to Assamese), Tulu clearly had Yakshagana (hint to Karnataka), in another video, the singer was wearing a "Gilgit-Baltistan" type cap (valley Kashmiris in India don't use that, though they are neighbors), Garhwali lady clearly had a Garhwali-style cloth on head, in Konkani it was Shivaji and a language similar to Marathi though clearly not Marathi (Konkani is the language closest to Marathi). Thanks thanks thanks a lot for this terrific video, gave goosebumps when the Santhali dancer sang about "Bharat" (like most of the collage did).

I'm not Indian, I am a Pahari (Pothwari) from Pakistan and these were my guesses:
    1) Tulu - Definitely sounded different from Malayalam and Kannada, being born and raised in the UAE, I'm exposed to South Indian languages all the time, hence went for Tulu.
    2) Sylheti - 100% part of the Bengali-Assamese continuum, but it's not Assamese nor does it sound like Standard Bangla, therefore Sylheti it is.
    3) Garhwali - Easy, The outfit was from Uttarakhand. It sounded like a Pahari language with Nepali influence, hence could either be Kumaoni or Garhwali, but since Garhwali was the only option that was it. Loved hearing it because as I'm a Pahari from Pakistan I could definitely hear some similarities.
    4) Maithili - Was a tossup between Awadhi, Bhojpuri and Maithili as I'm not good at differentiating between the 3, went with Awadhi but changed to Maithili based on intuition.
    5) Konkani - Again, a tossup between Marathi and Konkani, no clues from the video either so went for the more obscure option.
    6) Nagamese - Bruh c'monnn, Akhuni!!!!!!! Within 2 seconds I knew it was Nagamese, it's an Assamese creole language so it's recognizable and the word "Naga" was frequently used lol.
7th one is missing from the video as I was currently watching, however through comments, end credits and the playlist of songs used, I found out that 7th option was Assamese, and it would've been an easy guess either way.
    8) Gondi - The word "Gondwa" was repeated alot, and besides it sounded like a Dravidian language so went with Gondi
    9) Haryanvi - Got Punjabi, Rajasthani and Western UP vibes all at the same time even before the options popped up, instantly guessed Haryanvi.
    10) Santhali - The only one I recognized aside from Ho, but since that was more obscure I went for Santhali. Sounded like a mix of Dravidian and Eastern Indo-Aryan languages at the same time.
    11) Didn't even guess (Correct answer was Irula) - I was literally clueless because it was obviously a Dravidian language but didn't recognize any language from the options.
    12) Hajong (Correct answer was Galo) - Only recognized Hajong from the options so just went with it. It was clear that it's a NE Indian language.
    13) Burushaski - Indians will hate me for this one but I don't care, Burushaski is only spoken by a couple hundred people in Srinagar at max, no other Indian controlled or administered region speaks it nor is populated by the Burusho people, therefore to count and potray it as an "Indian language" is extremely unfair because for every other language in the video (eg. Sylheti) arguments can be made that there are sizeable minorities within India's borders, thereby including them would be good for representation, however in this specific case it's clearly a typical Indian move to assert the state's political claims, and to be fair I don't expect much else from an Indian creator given the strong levels of claim exertions I've seen from Indians who aren't even necessarily from or close to the region, I am not surprised at all. I do not agree with including a language which is 99.9% spoken outside of India's controlled borders, like compare a few hundred people to 100k-200k people, that's like only 0.1-0.2% of all Burushaski speakers at max. That's like if I included Tamil as a "Pakistani language" due to the few hundred Tamils who live in Karachi, This is just unreasonable and unfair.
The guess was easy as it's Coke Studio Pakistan and since I'm from Northern Pakistan and we wear the same hat (Pakol) in our region as well, although in Gilgit-Baltistan & Chitral they have the feather varient like the one in the video. The language was definitely unique and sounded somewhat similar to other Dardic languages in the region like Shina and since I am very familiar with Kashmiri & Gojri, the choice was obvious.
    14) ISL (Indian Sign Language) - It's a sign language, so by default went for ISL.
    15) Jawara (Correct answer was Bo) - It's definitely an Andaman language. I only recognized Jarawa from the options, hence went with it. I did know that the Great Andaman languages went extinct but didn't know of any specific language within the family, honestly it's pretty heartbreaking to realize that language death is real.
    Total Score: 11/14
It was a really good quiz (barring the inclusion of Burushaski ofcourse) that I found relatively easy personally, however I must admit that it was definitely more challenging than the previous part that I did 3 years ago, in which I got 17/23 correct. Looking forward for more of these in the future!

Ask yourself haven't you supported Bollywood movies at some point in your life ??? I personally don't want Bollywood to make movies on marathi culture I rather want marathi people to make marathi content I will gladly support them !!! You people must create your own regional film industries and support them don't watch bollywood if it doesn't reflect your cultural values. I could guess (not recognise) 6. It makes you feel humble as a Hindi speaker to realise the diversity of languages in our country. It makes me feel proud as well to see the high production quality of most of these songs, a sign, I belive, that these languages and cultures are thriving. I wish same would have been true for some other languages (like those in Andaman).

@@antriksX Yes Hindi is my mother tongue. And I only know English besides it. So, I consider myself an illiterate when it comes to spoken languages. Most of my friends who belong to non Hindi speaking states/cultures know more than 2 languages. And I am grateful that all of them understand Hindi/English so that we can communicate with each other. Its not Hindi's fault that other regional languages get side-lined. It may be Hindi-speakers' fault though. I hope you understand the difference.
Given the vast cultural diversity of our nation, we do need a multi-language system (where one or two languages are primary languages) to make things work. Like right now you and me are communicating in English. But that shouldn't mean one language completely dominating others in all walks of life.
The conflict between multiple languages is not a problem unique to just India. But we should atleast appreciate the fact that our leaders haven't been as brutal towards minority languages as some other nations have been when they have outrightly (as an overt state policy) banned certain languages in the past (Ex.-Turkey did this to Kurdish, Chinese are doing this to Uyghur langugaes now). I am not aware of any language/dialect being banned by any state/central Indian government. But yes we still do have a long way to go. In the end we should respect and learn about each other's culture. The more you know about other cultures, the more respectful you become towards other fellow human beings.

Himachal should have himachali state language not hindi..same way uttarakhand should include our pahadi language..UP should include maithili, awadhi state language ...
