The male dog pee on everything and the female was a little calm but later in the years the male started to pee like the female dogs they are good dogs we don't hit our dogs never even if they didn't bad things like chew a hole in our new sofa yes that happened 1 time we only tell them bad boy or bad girl yes they rip a big hole in our new sofa we love them so much
I noticed, that the males might be more independent. Our male would just walk himself and our girls didnt want to leave my mother. They even follow her to the toilette :D
My male was notorious for deliberately peeing on things indoors but the female was perfect with her potty training. Female is better at listening to commands all around. Both sexes are escape artists. The male could get aggressive once in awhile with bones or strangers. The female was never aggressive, but she was also much more introverted. The male was a Velcro lap dog, so incredibly cuddly, and the female only wants to sit in my lap once in awhile. There are pros and cons to each, but honestly I think I enjoy the male a little more despite the fact he has more problems. It’s the affection! How can you stay mad at something so adorable, when he’s cuddling up to you and obviously loves you more than anything? The female is better-behaved, but I also feel like she spends too much time sitting in a different room avoiding me. I love them both so much.
8:48 I know that my min pin Annie is a living angel sent by God. When my husband of 50+ years passed away I was so alone I did not care to live. My son got me Annie through a Christian friend. She is 4 now and I love her unconditionally and she loves me the same. She is NEVER away from me. I have not been to the toilet alone in 4 years. She has to be touching me most all the time. I take her to the vet regularly and try to take perfect care of her. She is a perfect watchdog. She alerts to people or animals as I live in the woods and she is also the smartest dog ever. I have had dogs all my life but none as sweet as my Annie. I call her my daughter, not a dog.
Just became first time owner of a 10 week old male. He's the most loving and touch craving little thing. Since the first night, he was immediately drawn to me, and he's always seeking for my attention. We're starting potty training, which has been a little hard, but patience is key. Love your videos, they teach me so much every time... Greetings from Costa Rica!
my girls were completely different - one was indecent and talked back. Asher certainly let you know if she disagreed with your instructions. The other - completely needy - a pet dog. Loved both of them greatly.
They are clowns and will light up your day everyday but be careful they are mischievous and can get into trouble I'm talking about the kind of trouble that caused me to lose my last two min pins and one of the biggest traumas in my life is because of one of them
I was a 1st time dog owner when I got my 1st min pin. He was a male and was 9 weeks old. He became diabetic at 15 and we also found out he had cancer. We did everything from insulin, special food and a mild chemo. He stayed with us to meet our son and spent his last year with him. We recently had to let him go because his body was shutting down. Hardest decision we had to make. He was 17.5 and the best dog ever! When we are ready we are going to get another min pin. Most loyal, funny and loving breed
My Min Pin is called Tom. He is the best dog I have ever had. He is a great guard dog and is bossy, protective, and ever so loving. He is now 10 tears old and is rather food obsessive. That is the only thing I have to be very strict with. But I live him with every fibre of my soul.
I have always stopped my Pins and made them sit at the door, once I cross the boundary, I allow the dog to cross the boundary, both coming in and going out. They never cross a boundary before me. Makes a big difference.
I have a male Min-pin (my first of this breed). He is incredibly loyal and loving. He was a challenge to house train but other than that he is perfect. He is very vocal with strangers but I consider that a good thing. He is tolerant of kids of all ages. He loves to snuggle. Never chews or destroys anything but if we leave the trash can open... well thats a different story:) Love this dog!!
I have a male almost 14 week old min pin quite by accident my dad's female min pin had puppies and my dad lovingly gifted me Levi my boy and he is quite the challenge to house train especially in the winter with their short coats outside potty training isn't really an option
Just came back across this video, it was half watched because back in October my husband called from work to ask me if I wanted a miniature pinscher because a coworker was rehoming one asap. I wasnt familiar with the breed so I looked it up and found your channel. I decided I wanted her and we picked her up less than 2 hours later. Shes the love of my life 😍 your videos are very informative
My male min pin is 17 and has Lupus. He's losing his hair and looks a hot mess but he acts like a puppy. Can't bear to put him down but I know it's coming. The smartest dog I've ever had! Love him so much!
First time owner of a male min pin/chihuahua mix, Carson. He has achondroplasia. He is incredibly athletic, tons of energy, dominant over other dogs (male and female), great friend/companion to our male GSD. Loves to sleep in bed with humans. Can go on long walks, intelligent, and overall a great companion. I adopted him from a private party, when he was 11 months old-they could no longer keep up with his energy level.
I rescued a female min pin chihuahua cross…. She was 6 mos old, and was found running the streets. She is a bundle of endless energy…. But now she is 2, she is slowing down…smart as a whip, and stubborn( that’s the chi in her). But a total love bug!!!! She has long legs and looks like a min pin with the big chi eyes…. She loves everyone, and thinks visitors are coming to visit her…. Have to admit, I’m hooked!!!!
I've told everyone about your channel! If you put your dogs in the video and explained dog biology you'd have millions of subscribers. You're great and deserve a million views and people joining the channel 👏
Just became a first time owner of a male puppy min pin. Lot of work. Very loyal, intelligent, stand-offish, playful. You will become very attached. So be ready and willing to be that for your dog.
First time owner....I'm 45 and he (Brownie) is my first dog too! I LOOOOVE HIM!!!! I've always held out on getting a dog....was always a cat lover BUT he stole my heart!
Great video! I am a first time owner to an 8 year old female as of last year. She's a sweetheart and very boisterous ha ha. She gets along great with our male and female teenage mutts. We adore her!
From another min pin lover. My 2 females lived to be 19yrs old, the last three years of there lives they have trouble walking and hearing and seeing, only there last year was hard. They need to eat twice a day , with a good protien and carb balance. There last five years of life, I added cooked oatmeal, and put warm water in there food to make it soft for there bowel movments, believe me it makes them feel alot better. Also be very careful at all times! around sliding glass doors so you don't injure them, there so fast. I hope I helped a little for all you new min pin parents.
I rescued a female chocolate miniature pinscher chihuahua mix named Pixie in may. I got her 7 months ago and then she was 1 year and 5 months. I had to house break her, she can sit, lay down, come here, stand, speak. She still sometimes has accidents inside, but we are still working on that. Sometime she gets huge bursts of energy. Other times she relaxes. She can be very vocal as well. I bring her to the dog park to help socialize her and she prefers to play with small dogs, she will just not play with big dogs. She is still learning to probably walk on a leash because she is still more reactive on a leash. She can be very noisy at everything and very distracted, but I am determined to work with her. We have three cats as well, she LOVES them. She also is a huge cuddle bug. I can hold her in my arms when I go to bed. She knows all her human family members by name! She is very loving to anyone once she lets her guard down. She is the best decision I ever made and I will never give up on her. Thank you for these awesome videos. Happy new year!
So I'm on the right track, we are looking at a female. I hope we get her. Thanks for the information I believe this will be the perfect fit for us first time dog owners with kids.
I have two now. 1 male 1 female. Both rescues. I’ve had the female for a year. She is 8-9 years old. I just adopted the male. He is 2 ish. But they do not like each other. Any suggestions?
@@MinPinNation the 1 thing is we enjoy all 7 of ours we have we clean them 3 times a week they are our kids and you just need to be very kind to them please who ever gets dont hurt these dogs if they do bad they will be good to you keep them in side your house they are not outside dogs if you want a outside dog then get a big dog please listen to any 1 who gets care them with all your heart they all sleep with us we are 1 happen family like i said they are not outside dogs
My 2 year old little girl has no problem at all with strangers, she is always running up to strangers and other dogs with no problem. She’s hyper friendly but selective with petting from strangers.
I've had my Milo for about 7 years I've trained him with my siezures my self he can find my sent in the woods on things he's never seen he has one hell of a nose ! He's my life but he definitely runs my life no one can pull up or come in my house with out him going off
I just got my male min pin he’s 4 months, was housebroken in record time, loves to snuggle. Also a serious runner and jumper. He’s so sweet and tons of fun. I’ve never had a male dog before he’s been much easier to train than my female dogs.
We have a male min pin...his loves are BARKING, food, blankets, playing, WALKS and us! His hates are everything else! Although he does like other dogs but only if they're female and not puppies and smaller than him...lol.
I have a 6 mth female min pin she was house trained by 4 mths knows basic commands and easy to train...she is very cheeky, loving and gets on well with my 2.5 mongrel dog...both need plenty of excercise and mental stimulation it's hard work but rewarding....
I've bought my First dog, her name is phoebe, she has 2 month and I wanna start to training It. I Love to see vídeos about specific training tips for this breed. Anyway good job.
I'm a first time owner, thrown in at the deep end. I adopted a 2 year old min pin that had been abandoned at my local vet. He is awesome, but head strong.
We always had many dogs for rescue or holidays. But this little 3 month old minpin baby is really a challenge. Like no other puppy dog. She is crazy. Whole household upside down. Barks at everybody except for me. Constant need for body contact. Never had such a high energy dog. She will only be tired after 18h duracell behavior. 😅 Big dogs are definitely easier for me. The owner is a first time owner and coming back in 1 week. We survived 1 week already. Counting the days. Rather have a Husky, GSD and Pitbull at the same time😂
I never had her trained..but she always let me know. Walk time ,etc..pinchers love people, but they also love being alone...So protective ,they are fearless fighters when they must ..she is gone now. after 15 yrs..considering if i'll ever get another one, but I guess I will
my first dog ever was a combo border collie and purebred min pin. she was awesome. loved her a lot. smart and fast and gentle. was not good with strangers til her later years. owned me. miss her a lot. my current puppy is 12 weeks or so old. a feisty female. bit of a biter with me, not so much with my parents. I am not such a great trainer, but I think she is smart. stressing me a bit. pry cuz I don't see her as much as I would like. Humane Society puppy. was lucky to see the mom-possibly a puppy mill mom. the ladies there fostered the mother as she had her pups. anyways thanks for the videos. take care, be nice, be safe.
I had a boy and a girl, loved them both. My boy was more clingy and loving and my Willow was more independent. The boy Ollie would pee around the house at first, I took a sock rubbed it up and down on his body then rubbed the same sock with his scent on furniture around the house, he stopped peeing.
Umm really?? My male would go outside. 6m old. Pee all over then come in and insist on peeing on my wall... nothing I did stopped him. It was so difficult he was super stubborn. Even fixing him I was told he wouldn't stop..
I have 3 dogs and all 3 are males and one of is a min pin he's somewhat of a jerk to our boxer even though he took him under his wing but he's kind to our oldest dog and help him in ways that I don't understand but he does help him lick his ear and plays around with him he's the strangest dog ever and smart and we love him for that.
Shes ñearly 9 yrs..very strong and active playing to be bossy and over protective not scared to challenge bigger dogs or nothing and likes my bed and take over from there..and a lot more i can mentioned
I’m a first time owner. She’s about 3.5 months and already she protective of me and would rather be with me than everyone else. She’ll go to other people but only if I’m not home.
I like to make a comment here. I've "always" been a dog owner. But the Min Pin I have today, is my first "miniature" She is also my first female. But what I want to tell you, is that I adopted her 2,5y o. She was NOT trained in any way. Hardly been outside. No behavior training. She was dead scared of EVERYTHING!! And I mean everything. From people to a tree or birds. She didn't even know what to do, if the grass was too tall. I have been training dogs for a long time, but I do remember calling a friend after 1,5 months. Saying that Im not sure about this one. But she had one really good thing. She looked at me. And she was and still are a food junkie. This makes training a lot easier. And suddenly, one day we could pass people on the street, without her barking and trying to run home. From there it went fast. I had given out threats to friends and family. Every time we meet, they could give her something. Today I've had her for 3 years And she can go nicely without a leash. She is the BEST dog I have ever had, regarding (calling her name and make her come to me) She can come with me absolutely every day and everywhere I go. She is my ❤️ and my best friend. So never give up. You can teach a old dog new tricks. And even a extremely nervous Min Pin, can be your best friend. I often think of the learning curve she had. She absolutely must be a strong minded dog. So good luck with yours. And keep training!!
I became a min pin mommy November 18th 2020. She's my world, and she's just too darn cute. She's 6 months old and just over 6lbs. I'm not sure if she will get any bigger. She's doing really well with training and look forward to see her continue to grow.
My first min pin was a male… he was a rescue and had a lot of behavioral issues… he would pee in his crate every single night… also was extremely territorial and bit anyone that came through our gate or in the house… had him 13 years…I loved him dearly tho so I tolerated his brattiness… my female is different so far… she’s still a puppy and very obstinate .. she’s never met a stranger and loves everyone… but her trainer calls her a little drama queen… I always swore I’d never get another min pin because they’re so obstinate and bratty.. but turned around and got another one lol… never a dull moment that’s for sure …
I have a male min-pin mix. He does not like strangers and wants to eat kids and bigger dogs. He will stick to me like white on rice. I think it’s because I run him on my bikes My wife and I have two different ways of disciplining him. I am more strict she coddles him. My dog sometimes grabs food and runs under the table and eats. Does anybody’s pin do that.
All min pins easily become fat from too many calories. An overweight min pin can develop Diabetes, and it can get severe crazy fast, fast enough to lose the dog before you realize what is happening. Cut back on calories, add baby carrots as treats, use canned pumpkin (not pumpkin Pie filling) to add fiber to the kibble so your dog feels fuller. The feeding amounts you see on dog food bag are to sell more food, not ensure proper weight, for your animal. If you can just about see your min pin’s ribs, the dog is proper weight.
@@twiztedmouth You are welcome. I became involved in Mn Pin Rescue because of my wonderful boy. I learned about the diabetic thing from the rescue director. I actually learned about the way pet food bags are “misleading” from a veterinarian when I had an obese cat. I wish you many many happy and healthy years with your pin.
I got a boy one from a family member didn’t know what I was getting into and he doesn’t listen at all and I’m crate training now and I have two other dogs that are female but mutts and very well behaved and trained
I rescued a Min Pin 4.5 months ago. she is very aggressive on walks, also when anew person comes in the house. so scared she will bite someone. nothing I do seems to help. She has been on doggie prosaic, for 2 weeks now. Its to the point I'm scared to walk her, or have people over. After questioning the rescue found out her previous owner said she was a nipper, he was her only owner before me She is 8.5 years old. I love her so much, and she loves my husband and me. I have moments where I consider taking her back to the rescue, before she hurts someone. Help
I have males and females and differences really wary from dog to dog, depending if they grew up in a single-house hold, apartment in a city or a rural house with a fence and few other dogs. What does matter are the bloodlines. If you take Russian bred minipins, they mostly have Israeli inbreds - large bone structure, heavy heads with really good jawlines, strong musculature and usually bigger in size than what is acceptable now. They are very calm, working dogs. They do have smaller types as well from other bloodlines, usually hyperactive. The more ‘west’ you go, the smaller minipins get and likelihood of being related to a ratdog increases - more energetic, agile dogs. In the US or Asia - these are small toy dogs with toy dog heads, perhaps the only clue you get that it’s a minipin is their somehow active and clingy personality with separation anxiety. That’s why it’s important to purchase dogs from reputable breeders. Let them know your lifestyle so they can find a puppy that fits right with you. Some puppies are more active, some more melancholic. The breeder knows the dogs they’ve bred and lines they used and if minipin puppy is the right fit for you long-term.
I have a Male Chocolate Min Pin. I'm a first time owner and BOY. HE IS SO ENERGETIC. I love him so much, he's hard to train. I almost feel he has adhd. I got him when he was a puppy (10 weeks) and that was may of 2019. He's now a year and a half years old. I can't wait for the maturity and for him to slow down a little bit. But I'm also not looking forward to it. His name is Tuckee
I have a male minpin mix (chocolate and tan) he looks like a hairy minpin. I also think he has adhd. I got him at 3 months and my vet told me he would calm down by year 2. We are almost at year 5 and still psycho. I live at the dog park 2 hours a day and it has helped a lot. I also use doggie daycare. I have been offered CBD oil and Prozac. Not sure if this is abnormal energy for this breed.
I recently had to put down my Min pin, Mindy was a rescued, she was about 3yrs old. I miss her so much..she was abused and was mistrusting of all. But after a yr. She started to come around and was always with me. I would like to find another Minpin, if you know of someone, who is looking for a forever home, please let me know. Thanks!
@@mickeymouse4351 hey! Are you on fb? I can’t shoot you pics on TH-cam. We are 2 hours north of Valdosta, Ga; 4 hours south of Marietta, Ga. Jill is 2 years old. Hw negative. Fixed. Fully vetted. No known health issues. I say she’s 100% min pin. But she may be a mix, we aren’t sure. I have fostered her since March 19. She has been difficult up to now. Many traumas unknown but impactful. As we have worked with her and loved her, oh my gosh. I want to keep her. I’ll let her go only to someone who fully loves this breed. She is 95% house trained. Her destructive behaviors are just about gone. Though I would not tempt her, I don’t have to hide shoes and clothes.
Hi sir...ur video was awesome...now im very clear to take new female pin min...how can i train it..i dont have previous exp in dog...can i manage this dog in apartment..i have 6 years old kid..is it possible to grow my pup along with my kid? Pls guide me

I just bought a male min pin. I live in a one bedroom and he’s small enough that he gets tons of exercise just running through the rooms. I taught him to ring the bell to go outside. He does great. He learned to sit in about a minute and the last couple nights we’ve been working on putting his toys away. He loves being rewarded. Treats are key in training. He goes to work with me everyday and entertains himself in the crate next to me till break time. Which somehow he knows exactly when it is. Today I let him have free reign while I worked and when he wasn’t trying to hide his bone, he was snoozing next to me. I’ve never had such a good dog. He’ll be 5 months old on the 27th.
first time owner and i got here for free! she is my whole world, and i just turned 21. so im shocked with the pressure to train an amazing dog. Ive seen my aunt raise a dog who is aggressive and fears of other dogs but he will attack them no doubt, he has nipped and tried to attack my 10 week old mini pin!
My dog is aggressive to most dogamost people she is fine with I dont know what happened to her before I got her but I love her to death she is my world
I adopted a 2yr female and I'm a female. She's the sweetest but, she can get hyper lol she broke out of the shell.. She barely barks,, only with the delivery guy and a neighbor that walks by. I guess bc I'm the adopter, she's closer to me than my husband.
I’ve had a male minpin and a female as well. My female is a lot bigger and more protective than my male was. My male was a lot more mellow and calm but still protective. While my female is more protective and she’s a lot bigger. She is also really aggressive. I definitely see a difference
I have two chocolate tan min pins my boy BUDDY just passed away 3/21/22 he was definitely a little man very much masculine traits, my girl is a little taller little lankier and very feminine clearly female traits just their behaviors alone clearly exhibited their genders, they are both very loving and affectionate and towards each other she would climb up on my lap and twist yourself around him and wanting him to kiss her and she would paw him saying come on Buddy how about a little kiss it was the funniest thing to watch. My little boy was 17 when he passed I can't begin to tell you the loss he had so much personality and love, he was as smart as a 5yr old child. Big personality that's why I called him Big Buddy
@@MinPinNation in my case it was a nightmare. They did not get along at ALL. I was afraid to leave my house and had to lock them in separate rooms all the time as both chihuahuas and minpins can be ferocious fighters. Shelter said it'd be a great match. Well it wasn't. Inform people that it doesn't have to do with breed. Dogs have personalities and not all personalities click, no matter the breed. Test it first. Have them play together, be together in a room, eat together before you decide. Its will save you and the dogs a lot of trouble, stitches and ridiculous vet bills.
I've had 3 female min pins and I now have a Male hes so different than the girls hes very assertive wants what he wants like right away that's a min pin Hes very protective none of them liked water at all and my daughter had a brain hemorhage because of surgery now my boy think he has to take care of her if she cries he cries they are awesome dogs Hes the bigger version tho he weighs 27lbs but hes pure min pin beautiful red color Wally
I hope I didn't get too ambitious haha I trained my female well and adore her, but am about to get a male puppy! I'm a persistent person but hope I can still be successful with it.
Whole hearted dog food but it's a little more fatty then simply nourish dog food means u should walk your dog more u don't want this dog with too much weight it hurts there body structure
We're adopting a female Min Pin in a few weeks. She's 6 years old and according to the owner she suffers from seperation anxiety. Any tips on how to help her cope and get her used to staying alone while we're at work? She will have our cat for company but I'm worried this won't be enough.
i have an issue, i have two daschunds, one large black male daschund and one medium sized female...the female is really aggressive towards strangers, but she really mothered my male daschund when we got him last year...my family and i agreed that the next dogs we adopt would be those of our male daschund's {mating him} because our female is neutered....he's still only one year old so he has a long way to go before we can mate him...the same person who gave us my baby boy (the male daschund - kylo) said he wants to give us a pinscher puppy....first i was really excited..but after i started my research...for some reason it feels off....anyone know why?
My girlfriend and I recently got a formal min pin, she’s 8weeks and she already seems to be attached to my girlfriends mother, she’s a tad bit jealous and we want to get her to bond with us more first than her mother. Now we are young being 20 and 19 not living together and have experience with dogs but she seems to be more drawn to her mother as of now wanting to lay with her but play with us. How can we fix this with some training and other tips..? Any advice would really help.
Actually Fresh I would try not to worry to much at this point. Blitz actually did the same thing. I would recommend seeking out different bonding times with your puppy. Also make sure you start training them early as they will begin to learn who the true leader is. You guys got this! Keep me up to date. Also what is your precious Min Pin's Name?
Min Pin Nation she’s getting better at sleeping by herself here and there and sleeping with my girlfriend, she still sometimes cries for my girlfriends mom and when she wakes up in the middle of the night she doesn’t wanna go back to sleep, what would be the best method to get her more comfortable to fall asleep with my girlfriend (her mom really lol) because she falls asleep with my girlfriends mom like nothing. And Our Min Pin is named Freya 🥰
I had a female and a male minpin they were great i had the for 22 yrs I have a few of there kids they are very very smart but you need to love them cause they will play you really good they will do everything you ask of them but if you forget them and don't give them the same love they will pee on your carpet till you learn like I said they are smart and understand if you tell your wife he did good to day he didn't pee carpet watch out cause now he just pee carpet they are very hard to train but once you train them they are great dogs very loving and will proct you
What is the biggest difference for you between the Male and Female Min Pin you have noticed?

Never chews or destroys anything but if we leave the trash can open... well thats a different story:) Love this dog!!
I couldn't agree more!
You’ve really had your Minpin for a long time! You must be a wonderful mommy! I wish you all the best!
I love how you insulted him but in a beautiful way
can you update us? is he dead?
is he okay?
My first Min pin was a male and he was my companion for over 15years. Enjoy your video on U tube
Thank you
My first was a female min pin she’s perfect dog I just got my second while still having my first . Life’s great and they get along well
First time owner of a male min pin/chihuahua mix, Carson.
I had a female for12years use to travel with me all over the world was very very small I still miss her to this day 45years after
Maria what was your Min Pins name?
My boy King Arthur was 15 in.tall and 15 lbs. He was the best friend I ever had.
I'm a first time owner I got a 2yr and she learns fast I really love her. I rescued her from another person who just couldn't afford to keep her.
Just became a first time owner of a male puppy min pin. Lot of work. Very loyal, intelligent, stand-offish, playful. You will become very attached. So be ready and willing to be that for your dog.
They take a full time commitment
My male MinPin, HumphreyBum, is stubborn, hardheaded, bossy, pushy, total narcissist, and a complete pain in the ass. I love him more than anything❤
Love it!
@Arnold Ziffle I forgot to add needy, clingy, neurotic, and rude🤣. But yet he makes us so happy, can't imagine life without him
@Arnold Ziffle OMG! Food! Humphrey is totally insane about it. It absolutely rules everything! He would eat himself to death, I'm sure, if we let him.
You just described my min pin. He is 13 and a bossy old man
@@vivianthompson6701 exactly! Our guy is relentless until he gets his own way🤣. Master manipulator too!
Tina that is great. We got our Zoe when she was 5 years old. Glad you enjoyed the video!
2nd time owner. 1st was Male rescue. 2nd is Female puppy. I love Min Pins. They are some of the sweetest, cutest, friends on the planet.
Thanks for your insight John
Thanks for watching!
I have a male and he’s very protective of me since my late husband passed last year
Hello my question is the other ear of my puppy mini pin turns down compare to her other ear, is this normal?
How much do your two weigh? They appear to be on the heavy side.
So I'm on the right track, we are looking at a female. I hope we get her. Thanks for the information I believe this will be the perfect fit for us first time dog owners with kids.
Good luck!
I have two now. 1 male 1 female. Both rescues. I’ve had the female for a year. She is 8-9 years old. I just adopted the male. He is 2 ish. But they do not like each other. Any suggestions?
Love the opening video. Lol.
Glad you enjoyed it!!

My 2 year old little girl has no problem at all with strangers, she is always running up to strangers and other dogs with no problem. She’s hyper friendly but selective with petting from strangers.
That is a great trait to have
First time owner and I have three! Halp!!
That is a handful for sure! You got this though
That must be pure chaos! I had 2 for a short while and it was too much lol. I gave one to my parents and life is back to normal finally.
Iv got six they are great different dogs in a big pack they keep each other inline lol
I've had my Milo for about 7 years I've trained him with my siezures my self he can find my sent in the woods on things he's never seen he has one hell of a nose ! He's my life but he definitely runs my life no one can pull up or come in my house with out him going off
My boys getting old ima be so sad when he’s gone 😞 LORD PEPS. Lol I’ll never replace him
Mine just passed last week...😢
They need exercise for sure.
I've bought my First dog, her name is phoebe, she has 2 month and I wanna start to training It. I Love to see vídeos about specific training tips for this breed. Anyway good job.
Make sure to stay tune as there is much more to come!
I'm a first time owner, thrown in at the deep end. I adopted a 2 year old min pin that had been abandoned at my local vet. He is awesome, but head strong.
i love my minpin :) she just turned 3 months, she’s a stag & her name is penny!
Hi Sarah
I am a first time owner I bought a female at 5months
Contemplating if i should get a male puppy for my 15 months old female mini pin.
Me and my wife are adopting two min pins the end of this week. They are 2 years old and brother and sister. Any advice for us would be appreciated.
IV ended up with a female min pin she's brilliant
What is her name?
My boy is so fun 🤩 he is very loyal.
New owner of a grown minpin female.
I'm a first time owner and I will always go for a female
which do you feel are more affectionate. would like a video on that. are there differences in the affection that they show
They sure do have different ways to show their affection.
I’m a first time owner. She’s about 3.5 months and already she protective of me and would rather be with me than everyone else. She’ll go to other people but only if I’m not home.
Make sure to keep socializing her.
I'm a first time owner and I have a female min pin she the best
I like to make a comment here.
I've "always" been a dog owner. But the Min Pin I have today, is my first "miniature"
She is also my first female.
She is the BEST dog I have ever had, regarding (calling her name and make her come to me)
She can come with me absolutely every day and everywhere I go.
She is my ❤️ and my best friend.
So never give up. You can teach a old dog new tricks.
And even a extremely nervous Min Pin, can be your best friend.
I often think of the learning curve she had. She absolutely must be a strong minded dog.
So good luck with yours. And keep training!!
My min pin is clingy and she is very vocal and gets the zoo míes at least 3 times a day.
Do they get along with cats very well
I became a min pin mommy November 18th 2020. She's my world, and she's just too darn cute. She's 6 months old and just over 6lbs. I'm not sure if she will get any bigger. She's doing really well with training and look forward to see her continue to grow.
Congratulations!
I had two females mom and Daughter they were great
You can't beat that duo!
I have a male min-pin mix.
He does not like strangers and wants to eat kids and bigger dogs.
He will stick to me like white on rice. I think it’s because I run him on my bikes
My wife and I have two different ways of disciplining him. I am more strict she coddles him.
My dog sometimes grabs food and runs under the table and eats.
Does anybody’s pin do that.
Is it common for a female min pin to get fat after being spayed?
All min pins easily become fat from too many calories. An overweight min pin can develop Diabetes, and it can get severe crazy fast, fast enough to lose the dog before you realize what is happening. Cut back on calories, add baby carrots as treats, use canned pumpkin (not pumpkin Pie filling) to add fiber to the kibble so your dog feels fuller. The feeding amounts you see on dog food bag are to sell more food, not ensure proper weight, for your animal. If you can just about see your min pin’s ribs, the dog is proper weight.
@@nmartin5551 Thank you.
Ashley make sure to check out our crate training video.
I hear you. Train and don’t give up. I promise the rewards are grand.
Help
My adopted min pin is 24 pounds. He's the perfect size. Male or female best breed!!!!
I love the name!
Hahaha they never slow down!!! At least my boy I had 13 yrs didn’t slow down until he went deaf and blind… but boy are they special
Do yo know much about a Chi pin?
I think that is what my Chihuahua mix is. He looks an awful lot like a min pin...
mine is male, and so full of energy, I don't know how to train it 😅
I recently had to put down my Min pin, Mindy was a rescued, she was about 3yrs old. I miss her so much..she was abused and was mistrusting of all. But after a yr. She started to come around and was always with me. I would like to find another Minpin, if you know of someone, who is looking for a forever home, please let me know.
Thanks!
I'm sorry for your loss

Hi sir...my puppy is getting continuous yellow eye discharge...it is normal or need of doctor?
It does take a lot. You got this though!
My dog is aggressive to most dogamost people she is fine with I dont know what happened to her before I got her but I love her to death she is my world
Good day sir,Sir what types of food can i give to my 2 months old mini pin
Our girl does not like certain trucks. Mail ups Amazon FedEx are triggers for her and she has different reactions to each of them.
I have a girl chihuahua getting a boy min pin to play with her would be okay right
I think it would be a great addition
@@MinPinNation in my case it was a nightmare. They did not get along at ALL. I was afraid to leave my house and had to lock them in separate rooms all the time as both chihuahuas and minpins can be ferocious fighters. Shelter said it'd be a great match. Well it wasn't. Inform people that it doesn't have to do with breed. Dogs have personalities and not all personalities click, no matter the breed. Test it first. Have them play together, be together in a room, eat together before you decide. Its will save you and the dogs a lot of trouble, stitches and ridiculous vet bills.
can you do a video about how we should play with our mini pinch please
I had 2 females. Each lived 18 yrs.
How months can a baby mini pin can eat a solid food?
I am thinking of getting a min pin, although there’s already a dog in the house it’s a female and a border collie. How do you introduce two dogs?
I've had 3 female min pins and I now have a Male hes so different than the girls hes very assertive wants what he wants like right away that's a min pin Hes very protective none of them liked water at all and my daughter had a brain hemorhage because of surgery now my boy think he has to take care of her if she cries he cries they are awesome dogs Hes the bigger version tho he weighs 27lbs but hes pure min pin beautiful red color Wally
That dog is possiblely a German Pincher , size matters.
i love my little female MinPin! She's a handful but she's an amazing little dog.
I hope I didn't get too ambitious haha I trained my female well and adore her, but am about to get a male puppy! I'm a persistent person but hope I can still be successful with it.
What’s the best brand dry food for Min Pin?
Whole hearted dog food but it's a little more fatty then simply nourish dog food means u should walk your dog more u don't want this dog with too much weight it hurts there body structure
2nd video ive seen. Love the beard 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
We're adopting a female Min Pin in a few weeks. She's 6 years old and according to the owner she suffers from seperation anxiety. Any tips on how to help her cope and get her used to staying alone while we're at work? She will have our cat for company but I'm worried this won't be enough.
Would you recommend a crate or a bed cot for a first time owner?
I have always enjoyed using a crate.
i have an issue, i have two daschunds, one large black male daschund and one medium sized female...the female is really aggressive towards strangers, but she really mothered my male daschund when we got him last year...my family and i agreed that the next dogs we adopt would be those of our male daschund's {mating him} because our female is neutered....he's still only one year old so he has a long way to go before we can mate him...the same person who gave us my baby boy (the male daschund - kylo) said he wants to give us a pinscher puppy....first i was really excited..but after i started my research...for some reason it feels off....anyone know why?
I have two dogs a female and a male but the female doesnt like other females and the male is a chill yorkie so i got a male min pin named pepsi

got a Black and Tan male, First time
My mom's miniature pinscher is an absolute nightmare straight from hell,I have no idea how to train it
I have a 10month girl Mini Pin., I have one question, do they easily get separation anxiety with their owners?
They do suffer from that. Make sure you work with them on it.
I had a female and a male minpin they were great i had the for 22 yrs I have a few of there kids they are very very smart but you need to love them cause they will play you really good they will do everything you ask of them but if you forget them and don't give them the same love they will pee on your carpet till you learn like I said they are smart and understand if you tell your wife he did good to day he didn't pee carpet watch out cause now he just pee carpet they are very hard to train but once you train them they are great dogs very loving and will proct you
Juana Shannon it is great to learn about your experience. You must have many stories in 22 years.
Would a min-pin get along with a Jack Russel?
Really depends on the individual temperaments of each dog. I don't see why not though.
